The Can of Nothing presents: Jesus is a Black Man!

My colleague Derek at The Can of Nothing has released the first episode of his new Trashimation series called Subcultured. Episode one is "Jesus is a Black Man." I play the black police officer Keith, while Derek did everyone else and everything else.

Quicktime 7 or newer:

Watch incompetent police officers Charlie and Keith meet Chinese immigrants from outer space and then investigate the world's greatest mystery... is Jesus a black man? Use Google Video if you have problems with the Quicktime versions.

Trashimation rocks. It was a little more david-firthy than the last one, but still with a plot. Liked pronounciation, script and the soundtrack. "sirene, sirene" hehe

Ok I watched it. It's not bad, but there is too much dead time. Reactions shots don't really work in animation.

I talked to Derek about the weird pauses. He knows it's there. Here's what he had to say about it: " I seem to like weird pauses where there often should be none ... I think I just like to mess with the flow... whatever! Nothing I do makes sense anyway, hah." When we did a Trashimation project together last time, I was directing so I was able to work with him to get rid of those before it was released.
