Just wondering whats the best external hard drive out there to get to back up my game data? I'm looking for ones that are already converted to FAT32, so I only need to add the folders for the saves. Any help please? |

| Cannot live without Love ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've just bought a 500GB Seagate. It's too early for talking about durability, I guess. Anyway, "external" hard drives are exactly the same units as the internal ones (2.5'' or 3.5''), but with an USB (and/or Firewire or LAN) interface. So there are only three or four brands: Seagate-Maxtor, Western Digital, Hitachi and Samsung. I guess all modern drives are formatted in NTFS; just connect it to a Windows machine and re-format it as FAT32. Five minutes. Keep in mind that FAT32 doesn't allow files bigger than 4GB (Wikipedia). |
