Recording Live Streaming Webcam Shows

I am in need/search of a free software program for recording live streaming webcam shows. I ran across to 2 names for 2 different downloadable programs that offer this service, but I can't remember what they are & I didn't write either of them down. I looked on download.com for webcam software, but didn't see either of them or anything close to what I'm looking for, though I could have glanced past any & not realized it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
