i'll probably go pick it up later today before going to work. i reserved it and i was called early monday morning to go pick it up already. which surprised me cuz it's not supposed to be out till today. didn't have the time and it's just a GTA game so no real hurry. but some guys got in a fight at a local wal mart cuz wal mart wouldn't open their electronics dept. for them to buy it. can you believe that. wal mart is open like 24 hours a day but they shut down the electronics dept at ten pm every night. any way a whole bunch of guys show up to try and get in line to get it at midnight but they didn't know wall mart shuts down the electronic dept. they're there and start arguing with the employees then they start argueing with each other and then they all started fighting. security and police show up and kick them out. "no grand theft auto for you".

If you get into a car accident, full head on collision, you sometimes fly through the front window.

This is one franchise I've never really gotten into. But I could understand if people are into driving around an imaginary version of a city you live in smashing into police cars. Not enough mythic swords or space battles for me tho. If I'm going to be a dork and play videogames in the dark by myself for 18 hour straight marathons it had better transport me to a fantastic imaginary world where nothing is as it seems.

Should help everyone with their decision making if you haven't already purchased it yet.

Messed around it today at the Wizard's compound.

Giant battles with cops, helicopter chases/races, 6-star getaways, and riding dirtbikes in the bowling alley. Good times!

That boat ride at sunset in the harbor was perhaps the most impressive-looking moment in a video game that I can remember. Make sure to shift to the first-person camera and cruise around looking at the water and the city. Seeing random car accidents and confrontations happening and seeing all the different reactions to your antics is marvelous. And the EXPLOSIONS...shoot some gas pumps and get the popcorn.

Yah, see due to my ADD conditioning i'm more of the type of player that could never could get very far with the missions. At some point I just lose focus and start slitting peoples throats and snipering people in the head from long distances. Picking up hookers and then chainsawing their dead bodies after I've taken my money back. Most of these games amuse me for a good ten or twenty hours sheerly through it's excellent mayhem-inducing engine and beautiful environmental effects. But the storyline arcs kinda bore me after awhile.

As not to spoil it for Hamelin..

Você começa a tomar decisões que decidem resultados no jogo ... Há duas terminações ... Ele não é super-aberto, é a par com o que acontece no BioShock.

Hamelin: Are you playing it online? So far my favorit is Turf War, ou can really use strategy and split into groups, stake out locations, plot roadblock points, etc. I haven't had any great Cops n' Crooks games yet, but once I play with an actual group instead of randoms, I'm sure it'll come.
