Does anyone other than me think that the prices of games and the systems will shoot up? Because if you think about it everyone is saying that the American economy is going down, so would that affect the prices on games, and the systems?

Probably not. Theyll go up eventually like they always have but not really for the reason your talking about.

If game systems and games go up in price, less people will buy them, especially in a bad economy.

Entertainment companies get hurt the most in a bad economy because thats what people cut there spending on first and the most.

Thats what I was thinking, all i know is if the price of games go up further there will be a big drop in sales

the way i've seen it is that games especially for newer consoles have always been a certain price. as that console gets older and new ones are about to come out the prices of the current games always drop. prices for the newer consoles are always higher. look at the last games for the last consoles. those games were going for 49.99 now new games for those consoles are coming at as low as 19.99. games nowadays are going for 59.99. i think the prices we have now will stay the same. when newer consoles come out i don't see them going up any more.
