| Finally got an mp3 player, and it's not an iPod! ![]() The Sansa c240 (1GB) Got it for $50 at Best Buy. ![]() FM tuner, Long-battery life while playing, removable battery, and there's a slot for storage upgrade: MicroSD chip. So now I have 3GB of space. ($25 MicroSD 2GB chip) I was tempted to get a iPod shuffle, but it cost more than $80, can't set playlist on it, storage isn't upgradeable, neither is the battery. So with the Sansa, the replaceable battery is cheap, like any rechargeable battery it's good for 2-3 years, and as long as they made higher capacity MicroSD's, I'll have more and more storage space if I desire. ![]() . . . . . . . . . . ![]() Now, for the Cons of the device: No clip-on like the shuffle, and I have no use its Picture viewing capabilities, the screen is too small for that. The only purpose for the screen is to navigate thru your music and FM stations, that's it. And a semi-con: voice recorder. Unless you need to secretly record conversations, or record a class lecture, I have no use for it. ... ![]() Last edited by Avis Phlox : 11-12-2007 at 10:48 PM. |
