Help uploading large video file.

The file is 680MB. Does anyone know where I can upload this?

I'm computer illiterate so please be gentle!

You can split it into 6 parts of 100mb each and upload it to rapidshare

I saw the limit was 100MB there and I downloaded Rapid Uploader but when I tried adding the file I get this message:

The selected files are too big.
You disabled Auto-Zip to compress and upload files automatically.
Check your settings.

Can you tell me where to find settings and what they should be?

Try 90 MB each part.

Anyway, Megaupload has a 500 MB limit.

You guys are so kind but I don't know how to split the file up... I'm trying media movie maker.

WinRAR will split files into rar archive files. Or any video editor, a program like Windows Movie maker can cut it into 2 or more parts.

A host called FileFront has a limit of 1GB for video files. I have used it once or twice before so I know it works, dont know how long it stores files for and the upload is pretty slow.

This is a very easy to use splitter, just drop and drag the large file then chose the MB you want the split files in and hit split.

That was easy, thanks! I split the file into 8 90mb chunks, (thanks mced) now I just have to upload them.
