Want popups but they wouldn't come up

Hi when I go online to some webpages I need click on some links to get to an other site or to a bigger version of a picture. However it doesn't work on my computer now (it did before). I thought before it would work after I took off all my popup ad blocker toolbars (like google, real bar) but it still doesn't work.

Do you know if there is something else I could try to do or a setting somewhere I could change? Is there a button to click on Norton? Would that help?

No you virus protector should block pop-ups

It depends on what internet browser your using. If your using Internet Explorer it has a built in one so do most of the others, go to tools and look for an off button there.

Also you can right click on the link and hit open in a new window. That should work even if the popup blocker is on.

If everything is off then try going to control pannel, internet options, Advanced, click Restore Defaults.

Virus protection won't block pop-ups, but Norton's a whole suite isn't it? I know some firewalls will block pop-ups, maybe Norton's firewall is.

It's ok now guys thanks I upgraded my winamp (it's and music and video player) to a bigger version. However it was too big for my computer and the new version didn't delate my old version of winamp.

Yeah I got rid of both versions on my computer and then redownloaded the smallest version I could find. So everything is good now thanks.
