What the Difference? Paint Shop Pro & Adobe Photoshop

Can someone please explain the difference between these 2 programs.

I've got a copy of Paint Shop Pro 7 with no extra downloaded filters, brushes, etc. on my laptop & I found a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS that I have yet to download.

Also is it better to have both of them or just one of them? & what are some of the best places to teach me how in the hell to use Paint Shop Pro & Adobe Photoshop the proper way?

Hmmm, I think you might be able to get a better answer in Creative Expresion, I would think the differences would be more artistic than technical is all.
