However the problem could also be that your pal doesn't have the correct drivers installed. Like if your video is in the quicktime format and your pal doesn't have the player installed, resp. not the newest drivers (I name this example, since the update-function of QT doesn't always work the way it's supposed).´ So with Version, she probably means the format - QT (mov), MPEG (mpg), Windows Media (WMF) or various DivX-versions (usually avi). Find out if it's a driver problem or if the file cannot be accessed. Make her download the file (you said the link appears - you know the procedure: right-click + save target as). If this works, it's a driver problem. If she can't find where to download the needed drivers, try to convert your video in a different format (you made the vid, right?) |

There is no Us /Euro versions for video formats.I dont know how you upload things there, like with Rapidshare or things like that? 1: If the person cant download it by "right-click + save target as", it might be blocked in there web browser or a popup blocker. 2: If your using a host: like rapidshare, yousendit, or megaupload, some people can not use a specific one, try uploading it to another. 3: If they downloaded the video and it wont play, the problem is a codex. The player from www.divx.com usualy plays most vids, unless its a .MOV which needs quicktime. It is much easier for them to download one of these programs then it is for you to convert the video to one of the types sampson listed above. Last edited by open32 : 06-02-2006 at 01:07 PM. |
