Many player moves Mo are coming from salary cap considerations and not because of player skills. Free agency and salary cap are changing the game and teams are making decisions based on the two. The draft is losing importance. Why spend money on unproven talent when teams can buy proven talent on the free agent market?

That my Lions could have solved their QB problem by trading their second round draft choice to New England for Cassels and didn't has me wanting to pound my head against the wall!!!!

Yea i get salary cap considerations etc but it's still tough see Dawkins on another team...
I just hope we get a good WR to help out Mcnabb cuz from what i;ve read Mcnabb isn't happy with the dealing of the club...
As for your lions yea it's weird to see from what New England gave up for a 2nd round pick it's a shco k not moe teams tried to get him...

Whats funny to me is T.O. had problems with decent Q.B.'s like Romo, McNabb and Garcia, who knows what he will say to Trent Edwards and their mediocre offensive system??? This will be fun to watch.

Maybe the biggest trade 2date of tthe off season has been to..
With Jay Cutler being traded 2 the Bears for drafts pics & QB Orton.
I think the Bears fans will be happy to get a good QB...

They gave up a lot with two first round picks.

Still can't believe New England gave up Cassel so cheap and that my Lions didn't make a move on him.
