Europe has been terrible so far, but let's see what happens in the afternoon. I like the all spanish pairing in the 4 ball. Sergio as far I can remember has a good record playing in the Ryder Cup as opposed to individually(not amounting to what was expected of him)

9-7 we need 7 out of 12 points to complete the miracle and silence all the redneck jingoists that seem to have surfaced around Valhalla. Difficult but not impossible. Karlsson's missed putt on the 18th might make all the difference.

It's odd the americans labeled themselves as cinderellas, when Faldo is your captain, there's no way you can be favorites for anything. I don't care if Colin can't hit the side of a boat, you need to get him there and same with Clarke.

For tommorow go out guns blazzing: Westwood, Harrington, Rose, Poulter, Garcia.
