Mike Adamle, welcomes us to Atlantic City, with some stupid speech about it being the place where fortunes are won and lost. Time for our first match! * Shelton Benjamin v. Kofi Kingston Tazz and Adamle discuss whether Kofi Kingston can pull off the seemingly impossible and beat Benjamin twice in a row. Benjamin: "You got lucky, your win last week was a fluke. I hope that translates in Jamaican. Your luck is about to run out." The bell rings and we're underway! Benjamin tries to get a roll-up right off the beat for three and has 2 near falls in about 15 seconds. He's all over Kingston like flies on crap. Kingston kicks out of another near fall at 2 only to have Benjamin pick him up and give him an elongated backbreaker stretch over his knee. Kofi clubs at Benjamin's head to get free but just gets beat down again with repeated knees to the gut and head. The crowd is completely dead for this match. Big shot to Kofi's back for another cover and a two count. Apparently judging by the replay window ECW is brought to us by Rambo tonight. After a long pregnant pause in the commentary Adamle asks if this is the end when both Kofi and Benjamin end up on top. Kofi jumps off for a modified frogsplash but Benjamin rolls through for a near fall. Benjamin dumps Kofi on his head and makes the cover and apparently Adamle is keeping count on how many near falls he's had because he claims five. Another long awkward pause in commentary right before Kingston hits his roundhouse Jamaican buzzsaw kick and gets the pin. WINNER: KOFI KINGSTON. I wonder if they're actually going to try to build this feud up long enough for a payoff match at Judgment Day. Commercial break and then we're back with a promo for Smackdown saying Matt Hardy will make his first title defense this Friday. The camera pans over Atlantic City and Adamle starts singing "Under the Boardwalk." Ugh! Thankfully Tommy Dreamer's music interrupts and it's time for another match, scheduled for one fall. Dreamer is flanked by Colin Delaney, and even though it's been said as a rib on Dreamer it's actually true - he's wearing the shirt for the next PPV J Day instead of his own merch. * Tommy Dreamer v. Mike Knox Knox tries to charge Dreamer right away but he's all over him with punches and kicks. Knox finally ducks a clothesline and hits one of his own to a light round of boos, followed by a much louder TOM-MY chant when he puts Dreamer in a chinlock. It's hard to believe Knox DOESN'T take steroids when you look at his bulging bicep wrapped around Dreamer's throat. Knox takes exception to Delaney being on the apron, so he gives him a punch and follows up by going to the floor to whip him into the steel steps. Dreamer kicks Knox while he's on the outside and tries to follow up but gets a beating for his trouble and is finished back in the ring when Mike DOES THE KNOX and makes the cover for three. WINNER: MIKE KNOX. Promo for the Hardy Boyz DVD when we go to break, and for Kid Rock's theme song for Backlash "All Summer Long" when we come back from break. Matt Striker is in the ring with a desk and a chalkboard. "Spring break is over and I have a sneaking suspicion you need to be taught. I'm reminded of the great Geddy Lee who once sang begin the day with a friendly voice unobtrusive. Our Smackdown brethern will become accustomed to the voice of my guest tonight. Please welcome the newest addition to their broadcast booth and a hardcore legend, Mick Foley!" Foley comes down and says it's great to be back in an ECW ring. Striker says he has a lesson for Foley to bring him up to speed, and Foley says that's very thoughtful. Striker says we're all accustomed to his accomplishments in the ring, but Foley says don't forget the two New York Times bestsellers. Striker says he's no Gore Vidal but thanks to spellchecker he did a decent job. Striker says if he didn't have to appear on camera he'd be great, but he's got a face better suited for radio. "The eyes are the window to the soul Mick, but not you, it's not your eyes - it's your smile. Your smile is a window, but actually yours is a window to your uvula, in the back of your throat, which I can see through the gap in your teeth." He also notes that Foley isn't looking too fit and Mick compliments him on being very astute. Foley: "I kind of like the way that I look, the scars, the smile, the missing ear. It all reminds me of the fact I sacrificed a lot to entertain our fans. Two principles you may have trouble following as a pretty boy, who has never sacrificed anything, and never entertained anyone." Striker: "I appreciate the compliment but I think I'm more on the adorable side, but it has nothing to do with anything. Perception is reality, and the perception is you look like you rolled out of your dorm room after smoking THE POT and listening to Bob Seger's greatest hits." Foley: "These sweatpants contain more testicular fortitude than you'll ever have and our great fans, RIGHT HERE IN ATLANTIC CITY, know it." Nice cheap pop Mick! Striker: "Smackdown has some of the best technical wrestlers on the planet, so I have to ask seriously do you know the difference between a Northern Lights Suplex and the Northern Parkway." Foley: "Let me show you what else I have in these sweat pants! No no no, Mr. Socko is not here to do you harm, he's here to teach the teacher a lesson in english. You, subject, are, verb, an arrogant, adjective, condescending, descriptive adjective... is that Gore Vidal!" Striker: "Gore Vidal's not here!" Foley sticks Socko down his throat when Striker turns to look. "Class, dismissed. HAVE A NICE DAY!!" Foley leaves to the approval of the fans as Striker sells the taste of sock in his mouth. Commercial. * CM Punk v. Chuck Palumbo This is an... interesting... match. Weird, but interesting. Palumbo shoves Punk in the face before the bell even rings. Both men throw up their dukes before a test of strength, which Palumbo easily wins shoving Punk into the corner. Punk gets the largest pop of anyone tonight from the crowd. Punk tries a go-behind and Palumbo just pushes him backwards into the ropes. The ref Mike Posey has to warn both men to get out of the corner, but has a hard time making them break. Scoop slam and a series of kicks by Punk, including a round kick right to the head. Tazz carries the bulk of the announcing duties here, calling his style muay thai. Palumbo unloads with a clothesline and spears Punk into the corner, then stomps on him for good measure. He pulls him back up by the hair for a side slam and a two count. Palumbo tries to choke Punk out, Punk fights back to his feet as the crowd chants, but Palumbo just throws him into the corner formore of a beating. Big right hands by Palumbo and morekicks. Posey keeps throwing rights in the corner, ignoring the ref's warning, and finally he calls for the bell. WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION: CM PUNK. Great. Way to make Punk look like a chode - you're Money in the Bank champion wins by getting the crap beat out of him. To further emphasize the point Palumbo leaves him laid out with a stiff clothesline before his music plays. Does ANYBODY in their right blessed mind think that Palumbo is ever getting over to the degree that Punk is RIGHT NOW - wait, don't answer, I'll tell you the answer - NO. This is a waste of time. WWE Mobile presents a replay of events from last night's Raw including Regal's coronation, Kennedy's interruption, and Regal taking Raw off the air in frustration during the title match later on. Commercial. Adamle says next week is the 100th episode of ECW on Sci-Fi, and Tazz says that next week that Colin Delaney gets a match against Armando Estrada where if he wins he gets a contract. Apparently we'll also get an "Extreme Rules" match between Tommy Dreamer and Mike Knox next week. Time for our main event! * Bam Neely & Chavo Guerrero v. Kane (non-title handicap match) As Guerrero and Neely are coming out, Tazz discusses the the match from Backlash with Adamle. For no apparent reason Adamle stops speaking in mid-sentence, puts his headset down, and walks away off camera as Tazz says "Mike, where are you going, Mike!" He appears to leave through the crowd. Kane's pyro hits and he comes down to the ring. Chavo starts the match and gets socked right in the face for his trouble, before being whipped to the corner hard. Neely stays on the outside, apparently waiting for a tag, and Chavo gets pummeled mercilessly in the process. Finally Neely grabs Chavo's leg and pulls him to the outside to save him from a further beating, and the announce table is completely silent about it as we go to commercial. We come back and Chavo finally ducks a blow from Kane and hits a dropkick to the knee before tagging in Neely. There's still no comment from the announce table - not Tazz, not Adamle, nothing. Chavo tries to hit an illegal blow to the back but it doesn't slow Kane down that much. Neely gets warned for punches and Chavo tries to do some damage while the ref isn't looking. Chavo finally gets tagged in but gets elevated over the ropes to the floor for his trouble. Absolute silence on the commentary and to be honest it's not hurting the match, I can actually hear the crowd reactions a little better, particularly when Adamle yanks Kane off the apron to the floor. Chavo tags Neely back in a minute or so later and he keeps aiming kicks at the knee. There's some sort of whacky sung crowd chant, but I can't quite make out what it is. Chavo tags in again and works on Kane with punches from the second rope. Kane tries to pick him up but buckles on the bad knee. Chavo comes over to attack him and Kane sits up. Chavo charges but eats a high back bodydrop. Kane charges him in the corner and follows up with a side slam for two, broken up by Neely. Neely tags in again and gets jacked in the jaw, then punched repeatedly in the corner. Charging clothesline and side slam by Kane. Still no commentary. Kane goes to the top rope and delivers a flying punch. Chavo tries to interfere and gets dragged over the ropes then goozled. Neely breaks up the goozle and tags in Chavo who goes for a frogsplash. The frogsplash connects and he hooks the leg for the three count. HANDICAP WINNERS: CHAVO GUERRERO & BAM NEELY. The two celebrate their win outside the ring as Kane is left on the inside. They walk backward up the ramp mocking Kane as ECW goes off the air, completely without commentary or explanation of what's going on.

courtesy wwe.com.......... ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Tuesday night, ECW announcers Mike Adamle and Tazz removed their headsets and left the broadcast position before the conclusion of ECW on Sci Fi. The event occurred just prior to the evening’s main event Handicap Match, featuring ECW Champion Kane and Chavo Guerrero with Bam Neely. Adamle and Tazz reportedly exited the arena and marched straight to the parking lot. Adamle was said to look shocked and expressionless as he left. WWE Superstars were taken aback by this unprecedented occurrence. Calls and texts to both Adamle and Tazz have gone unanswered. It has been no secret that our traditional ECW fans have not been satisfied with Adamle’s lackluster commentary. Speculation is this could have led to the play by play and color commentator walking off during a WWE broadcast. Did Adamle and Tazz leave of their own volition or were they asked to leave?

The latest development in the Mike Adamle storyline from WWE.com is that they did finally get in touch with Mike Adamle but that he is refusing to comment on the situation where he walked off of ECW. Stay tuned on Tuesday, the 100th episode of ECW on Sci-Fi and find out just where this story is going. Speaking of ECW, many ECW wrestlers have been told to be at Raw show tomorrow in Toronto. It may even be the entire roster. There's no word yet why

We open this show with the voice of Joey Styles, something you'll never hear again, and clips of Rob Van Dam and Sabu, two superstarts you'll never see again. This is like a reminder of how far ECW has gone downhill since it first started airing on Sci-Fi. At least in the early days it still featured a lot of ECW Originals, almost all of whom are gone now other than Guido, Tazz, Big Stevie Cool and Tommy Dreamer. Pyros go off and we're on the air! The ring announcer says "Please welcome the voice of ECW... Mike Adamle!" Mike comes down to the ring to a chorus of boos and takes a mic. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, a lot of people have been asking me about what happened last... Tuesday night on ECW and why my sudden departure from the broadcasting table. First of all let me just say in essence, I lost my cool and I need to apologize, #1 to my partner a tremendous individusl wrestler and guy Tazz, I didn't mean to leave you in the lurch. I also apologize to all of you, the great ECW fans." (Booooooo.) "I've been a broadcaster a lot longer than most of you have been alive. I played in the NFL for seven years, covered it for 9 years after that.. blah blah blah blah.. and yes I was the host of American Gladiators. But you know, I had no idea how hard this job was, and how great the ECW fans are. Have I made mistakes - absolutely. I'll be the first one to admit that. I've got a group backstage who aren't shy about letting me know when I screw up. My purpose is to be here tonight to say one I love WWE and that I love being on ECW, and I will do everything in my power to be as professional as I can and bring you the best product that ECW fans deserve. Despise me if you will but enjoy the 100th episode of ECW on Sci-Fi. Thanks for listening!" Tommy Dreamer's music hits and he's dragging a shopping cart full of PLUNDAH to the ring! Big Stevie Cool himself Steven Richards joins Tazz and Adamle at the commentary position for this match! * Tommy Dreamer v. Mike Knox (Extreme Rules Match) Richards reminds us that Dreamer is "the heart and soul of ECW" and if he was talking about the ORIGINAL ECW I'd agree, but the heart and soul of WWECW is more like Mike Knox - jacked up with no place to go. It's only a minute or so before Dreamer and Knox spill to the outside and Knox whacks Dreamer with a baking sheet. Delayed vertical suplex back inside the ring by Knox but he only gets a one count on the cover. Richards gravelly voice is so much better than the dulcet tones of Adamle on commentary, if only because he knows exactly whathe's talking about unlike Mr. NFL. Dreamer dropkicks a trash can into Knox' face and then whacks him with a hockey stick. Back in the ring he breaks a canoe paddle in half over Knox' head. Shopping cart is emptied and thrown into the ring! That backfires for Tommy as Knox slams him on it, but Tommy recovers and knocks Knox into the tree of woe before caning him. He goes outside for the trash can, bonks Knox with it, sets up the can AND the shopping cart, then does his E-C-W dropkick making a trash can sandwich with the cart and Knox' face! Dreamer goes out and brings in a table. This backfires too as he eats a belly to back suplex through the table. Knox covers him for two. Knox goes out and brings in a chair but ends up feeding it to Dreamer. Dreamer tries to DDT him on it but gets a low blow, then Knox DOES THE KNOX onto the chair and it's lights out for Dreamer. WINNER: MIKE KNOX. That's right, even on the 100th episode, the one they've made such a big deal out of, the "heart of ECW" can't get a win. Adamle makes a bad joke about what shakes like jelly, well Kelly Kelly of course! She's next after these commercial messages, but first it's the ECW ZOMBIE being caned by Sandman. Damn do I miss Sandman! We return with a promo for Raw next week, promoting Triple H being caught in the middle between William Regal and Randy Orton. Our announcer says up next is KELLY'S EXPOSE and she is in the ring wearing a tight revealing shiny black outfit, which she takes the zipper down on to reveal her assets. As she dances to "Throw it on Me" Layla El comes out and starts doing a dance routine of her own. Kelly shoves her aside and starts again, then Layla does the same. Woo, how exciting. Yay and stuff. This continues for a while until Kelly finally slaps her in the face and they get in a catfight. The loudest boos of the night are heard when the referees pull them apart. We flash back to September 2006, the 16th episode, where RVD and Hardcore Holly had a fight that split Holly's back open. Commercial. We're back with more ECW highlights, including the 55th episode on June 26th of last year when Roddy Piper smashed a cake into Matt Striker's face, before being thrown into the ring to face the Boogeyman and have worms dripped into his mouth. For once I have to actually agree with Adamle - the cake alone was good, the worms was overkill on an already good joke. We see clips of Palumbo beating up CM Punk last week. Palumbo is backstage. "CM Punk, you get in my face like that again, I'm knocking you out." That interview was mercifully short given how horrible it was. Shelton Benjamin's music hits and he makes his way down towards the ring, and since he's not dressed to compete Adamle makes the correct assumption that he's joining the broadcast booth. Kofi Kingston's music hits and fortunately Adamle doesn't make the usual joke, although Benjamin makes one about beating him before Adamle leaves during the middle of another broadcast. Actually somebody DID just spit out the Jamaican Me Crazy line so I spoke too soon, but I wasn't paying attention for a second so I'm not sure who. * Kofi Kingston v. Matt Striker Striker actually gets the first cover of the match but it's only a one count. Kofi ducks a clothesline and hits a dropkick to the face. "BO! BO! BO!" Double legdrop. Cover for two. Benjamin puts over Kingston beating him twice as a rare accomplishment. Jamaican buzzsaw connects when Kingston rebounds off a throw into the ropes and Kingston immediately gets the three count. WINNER: KOFI KINGSTON. Almost before the bell has even rung to signal the end Benjamin is in the ring drilling Kingston's head into the canvas. At least that got a few boos from the crowd, which is more reaction than the match itself got. Colin Delaney is walking backstage and CM Punk leads a round of applause for the kid, as nearly every babyface on the roster cheers him on as he heads towards the ring. Obviously his contract match against Armando Estrada is up next. Judgment Day promo and a commercial break! Another highlight from the past and this one is from Episode 43, which took place just a couple of days after I was at WrestleMania in Detroit. What's sad is that the match they had on free TV was better than the one I paid to sit ringside and see! Time for our next match. * Colin Delaney v. Armando Estrada (ECW contract on the line for Delaney) Estrada is looking quite... WELL... and Adamle puts over the storyline that he was a former heavyweight champion in Cuba. The bell rings as Estrada smiles, flexes his biceps, and poses to show off his abs. Delaney tries to get a cover right away to no avail, as Estrada puts him down, slaps him around, yells in his face and gives him a beal all the way across the ring. Lazy cover and Delaney kicks out at two. There's a lackluster "let's go Co-lin" chant, but it's better than no chant at all. Delaney avoids a charging Estrada in the corner and then actually gets in a little offense, wailing on him with rights and hitting a dropkick. It's all for naught as Estrada dumps him through the ropes and then chops him down to the floor. Delaney is pulled up to the apron by his hair but he slides through Estrada's legs and manages to make a quick roll-up for three! WINNER AND RECIPIENT OF AN ECW CONTRACT: COLIN DELANEY~! Delaney runs around the ring high-fiving everybody before Tazz stops him for an interview. "All those weeks of beatings, this all makes it worth it here. I want to thank everyone who supported me, my mentor Tommy Dreamer, and everybody who's down with me who made me come out here every week. Thank you Tazz, thank you everyone!" He continues high-fiving the fans all the way up the ramp and running around like a giddy child who just got his favorite toy as a Christmas present. Well congratulations kid, you finally got the storyline contract, but more importantly since you already had that contract IRL you got your first win on WWE TV. Smackdown Rebound from last Friday follows with Taker being stripped of the title. Commercial. Morrison and Miz have joined the announce table when we return. Miz congratulates Adamle on not screwing up their names and Miz gives Tazz a "Chick Magnet" shirt. Adamle asks if there's one for him and Miz says they don't make them in kid sizes. * Bam Neely & Chavo Guerrero v. CM Punk & Kane Morrison says since Cinco De Mayo was yesterday who knows if Chavo is in shape for tonight's match. No Kane pyros in the corners even though he comes out last and starts the match first against Neely, clubbing him down. Neely tries to shoot the leg to no avail. Neely tries to kick at the leg and gets punched, clotheslined, and scoop slammed hard. Punk makes the tag and leaps in for a cover. Morrison reminds us he hates everything about Punk, but notes he does know exactly what he's doing in the ring. Neely overpowers him, tags in Chavo and scoop slams him. Chavo tries to leap on him but Punk gets his knees up. Snap suplex by Punk for a one count. The "CM PUNK" crowd chant is among the night's loudest. Chavo shoves him into the corner, Neely tries to interfere, Punk knocks him off the apron to the floor. Chavo charges in and gets elevated over the ropes into his partner, which leads to a commercial break. We return with a promo for the Twist of Fate - The Matt & Jeff Hardy Story DVD set. Punk is working over the left arm of Neely. Morrison and Miz complain that Adamle didn't introduce them when we came back from break. Knox recovers and tags in Chavo as the tag champs mock Adamle and ask why he doesn't go Jamaic' Someone Crazy. Loud CHA-VO SUCKS chant as he works on Punk and hits a back senton for two. Chinlock applied as Punk winces in pain. Loud CM Punk chant (particularly from the children in the crowd) before Chavo slams his head down hard and tags in Neely, who beats him up some more and covers him for two. Miz says everyone should watch The Dirtsheet on www.WWE.com and thanks The Tazz, who thanks The Miz right back! Chavo back in again stomping on Punk's chest. Leg hooked for a two count. Chavo punches Kane to draw him in the ring, and as the ref throws him out the two-on-one cheating continues. Neely is tagged back in and Morrison says he was a former border security guard. Maybe that's why Chico Alvarez always calls him THE FENCE. Punk hits a flying clothesline and Neely is dazed. Both men crawl for tags and Punk gets his first! Big boot to Chavo's face and a big back bodydrop. Kane knocks Neely off the apron, dumps Chavo dangerously over the ropes, thankfully he grabs one to save himself. Kane off the top rope to knock Chavo down, but he's grabbing at his knee as he tags in Punk. Muay thai knees by Punk, step up knee in the corner, running bulldog blocked but the enzuguiri not. Neely breaks up the pinfall but Kane throws him off, gives Chavo an uppercut, feeding him to Punk for the G2S. WINNERS: PUNK & KANE. Miz and Morrison hold up their belts, Punk holds up his briefcase, Adamle thanks us for watching this special 100th episode (which really wasn't that special) and ECW goes off the air.

After picking up a historic win on ECW's 100th Episode, Colin Delaney will at long last sign a contract to become the Land of the Extreme's newest Superstar on the next ECW on SciFi. The persistence and passion has finally paid off for Delaney whose dreams came true after defeating General Manager Armando Estrada. But will the youngster with a small stature, but a big heart, have what it takes to be a success in ECW? How will Delaney match up to his fellow Extreme Superstars? And what will Estrada have in store for Delaney? ECW Champion Kane joined forces with CM Punk to defeat Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely in tag team action. Mr. Money in the Bank delivered a devastating G.T.S. to Guerrero for the win as WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison looked on. The Big Red Machine and the Straightedge Superstar are an Extreme force when paired together – how will these two Superstars leave their mark in the Land of the Extreme? And when will Punk cash in his Money in the Bank privileges? Kofi Kingston remains undefeated in ECW action after defeating Matt Striker on Tuesday as Shelton Benjamin offered guest commentary. But after defeating "Your Teacher," Benjamin stormed into the ring to attack Kingston, leaving him face-down on the mat. Has Kingston finally met his match? Will the "Gold Standard" be able to stop the Jamaican Superstar's winning streak? Finally, Mick Foley will also make his return to ECW and Matt Striker's Classroom next week. What will transpire between the Hardcore Legend and "Your Teacher"? What does the SmackDown color commentator have in store for the Land of the Extreme?

Sci-Fi originally said "The Beast of Bray Road" was coming up next but that beast must be Colin Delaney, because we see him beating Armando Estrada last week to earn his ECW contract. Estrada: "Do you have any idea how lucky you are - the odds of you beating me were astronomical. If you thought you were a target before, I'm going to see to it that you are now. Just sign on the dotted line. Second thoughts amigo?" Colin grins and signs the contract. Armando informs him his first official match as an ECW superstar will be against Mike Knox. "Best of luck to you." Instead of seeming scared, Delaney has a quiet look of confidence on his face. Don't question his heart I guess - he's still standing here! We're live from Grand Rapids, Michigan! Adamle says in Delaney's case you should be careful what you wish for, but he may be speaking about our first competitor tonight as well. Punk no doubt wished to be a top star of professional wrestling, but ever since he won the Money in the Bank briefcase he's been jobbed more than Rey Mysterio when he was the World Champion. * CM Punk v. The Miz Morrison accompanies Miz to the entrance ramp and both are carrying their tag belts... but Miz has words with Morrison on the entranceway and apparently tells Morrison he won't be needing his help because Morrison heads to the back. The bell rings and both men strip off their excess accoutrements and head for the center of the ring. Punk gets a waistlock from behind and slams Miz down to the ground as the crowd chants his name. Miz tries to get up and get away and gets brought down again. A third time he gets the ropes for the break but ends up eating a sunset flip into a near fall. Punk with an elbow to the back, whip to the corner, catches Miz trying to put up a boot, but then Miz kicks him with the other boot then grounds him for a pounding. Punk fights his way up with knees and kicks but Miz dropkicks him in the back to slump him across the ropes then dives outside to snap his neck off them. A couple of near falls ensue. Miz with a chinlock and Punk struggles to his feet, fighting out with elbows only to get clubbed in the back. Miz charges Punk in the corner and splashes him down, but only makes a cover for one. Another chinlock with a knee to the small of Punk's back. This is how low Punk is on the totem pole now - he has to sell for Miz for an entire match. That's not meant as a knock on Miz, just saying the more popular man is taking a beating from EVERYONE. Punk finally starts a comeback with a snap suplex, which leads to a boot to the face of Miz for a near fall. Punk pulls Miz up, Miz tries to bridge a pin, Punk lifts them both out of it, Miz kicks him in the gut but misses with a running knee, Punk tries to hit the Go 2 Sleep but Miz counters out of it for the Reality Check and the pin. WINNER: THE MIZ. Okay it's official - CM Punk is now the weakest man to hold any variation of any title in WWE history. Even Chavo Classic had a better run with the cruiserweight title than this. If there's any wonder why ECW ratings keep going down it's because they keep burying Punk every week. Cherry, Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly are backstage and Adamle says he has "DIVA FEVAH" before we go to a break. After the break a promo for Judgment Day this Sunday featuring JBL and John Cena. * Cherry, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly v. Layla, Victoria & Natalya I'm not sure what the gimmick is lately with WWE putting as many divas in a match at one time as they possibly can. Here's a hint - less is more. Natalya and Victoria take turns beating up Michelle McCool until she hits an armdrag and a boot and gets a quick cover on Victoria. Cherry is tagged in and tries to make a roll up, then starts throwing elbows at Victoria. Victoria escapes under the ropes and Natalya gives Cherry a clothesline. Both Tazz and Adamle point out the toughness of Natalya's pedigree as the daughter of Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart. Victoria tries to come into the ring and the ref forces her out, so I guess Natalya must have gotten the legal tag earlier. It's just an excuse for Natalya to work on Cherry more behind the ref's back. Victoria finally gets a legal tag and flips herself over the ropes to drop a leg. She goes for the standing moonsault but Cherry gets her knees up and crawls for the tag. Victoria drops an elbow on the back of her head before she can reach Kelly or Michelle. Cherry tries to push her way to the faces but Victoria clubs her down then runs over to the face corner to knock them off the apron. Cherry uses that to turn fortunes and roll up the Victoria when she's not looking for the UNO DOS ADIOS - WINNER: CHERRY AND THE CHER-ETTES. Backstage Benjamin says that Kofi Kingston is the luckiest man alive, with a horseshoe shoved up where the sun doesn't shine, and he's going to pull it out - or something bizarre to that effect. Kingston gets up in his face and says good luck, and Benjamin shoves him away and says you'd better get up out my interview time, and Kingston shoves him back and into a backstage wall, where Benjamin takes a hard bump to the cement floor and looks pissed about it. Commercial break. We return from break with a promo for Triple H appearing on the cover of WWE Magazine and Adamle saying that Tazz' shirt looks like a TV test pattern. Both men discuss last night's Raw then preview Triple H v. Randy Orton in a steel cage at Judgment Day. We go back to a flashback from Backlash showing Triple H ending the Era of Orton, even though he vows it's only just begun. From there we move on to Regal explaining the stipulation for their PPV match, with Orton noting he had six months of dominance before he lost to Hunter, and at Judgment Day he'll show exactly why when he gets back his belt. Clips from last night's Raw to end the show with Hunter standing on top of the cage in Detroit. We see Delaney taping up backstage for his upcoming match before we get a video package of all the people who kicked his butt before he earned a contract. Commercial. Well thanks to that break at least I know which ad reminds me of cutrer's Khali-Zilla song now - it's AutoTrader.com. Apparently Colin Delaney has his own theme music now as he makes his way out to the ring - good for you kid! * Colin Delaney v. Mike Knox Before the match begins we see various signs in the crowd like "Delaney's #1 fan" and "Kiss me Punk, it's my birthday." Delaney tries a dropkick to start the match but ends up being clotheslined hard and splashed in the corner by Knox. Knox throws him into the turnbuckle face first and pounds on his back. Mike Does the Knox and gets the three count - it's over in less than a minute. WINNER: MIKE KNOX. Armando Estrada comes out wearing just a vest and hat with no shirt on. He thanks Knox for the work he did and says Delaney has to face his second official ECW opponent ever - the newest member of the ECW roster - me! "I just signed myself to a very lucrative salary, and my contract had a few more zeroes on it than yours. This is my first official match as an ECW star, referee, do your job, ring the damn bell." * Armando Estrada v. Colin Delaney Armando beats him up, herks him up, slams him down hard flat on his back and covers him for three. WINNER: ARMANDO ESTRADA. Blood trickles out of Delaney's nose afterwards as Armando gloats and celebrates. Backstage we see Kane psyching up for his match with John Morrison before we go to a commercial. After commercial we're promised that the Gold Standard himself Shelton Benjamin will be facing Kofi Kingston. "JAMAICAN ME CRAZY, will he stay undefeated next week!" Morrison comes out and Adamle says something like "twist and kneel, sex appeal" but I'm not rewinding to catch the stupidity of it. Miz accompanies Morrison to the ring - I guess he doesn't mind the extra help in his match against Kane. * Kane {C} v. John Morrison (Non-Title) Kane's pyros go off at the top of the stage while Morrison is posing in the ring, and the menacing Kane walks down to the ring with the belt around his waist. Adamle says the Era of Orton might be dead, but you can't beat the Reign of Kane! Morrison bails to the floor so Kane can hit his cornerpost pyros. Morrison tries to get Kane in the corner after the bell to chop down his legs with kicks. No good. Kane gets away with ease and Morrison tries to bail through the ropes. Kane makes sure he's back in quick. Eventually Kane pulls him up by the neck from BEHIND HIS BACK like he's lifting a weight for a bodybuilder exercise, then drops him on his face. It's all Kane as Miz looks on with concern from the outside. Kane grounds Morrison and wraps an arm underneath Morrison's tanned neck for a choke. Morrison fights out and tries to work over Kane's left knee in the ropes. Kane shoves him away and whips him into the corner but Morrison blocks with an elbow and goes after the knee again. Kane misses a clothesline to the corner and Morrison punches the gut. Miz tries to grab Kane's leg from the outside while the ref is distracted, and CM Punk comes down to scare Miz off. Miz goes over to Morrison's corner to give him advice as we go to commercial. Kane is beating up Morrison as we come back from break. Neckbreaker to Morrison for a two count. Morrison keeps trying to work on the leg with no success. Dropkick to Kane's fae, boot to the gut, climbs to the second rope for punches to the head, Kane throws him off. Same thing, Kane throws him off again. Big boot misses, Morrison chop blocks the left leg and works on it some more. Morrison tries to take Kane down with a dropkick but can only get a one count. No matter how much Morrison works over the leg Kane keeps coming back. He drags Kane to the ringpost and snaps the leg into the pole from the outside. More kicks to the leg with he comes back in until Kane decks him with a punch. Morrison grounds him and Punk tries to send Kane a signal from the outside. Kane gets up and starts unloading on Morrison with punches, clotheslines him in the corner a couple of times, Morrison tries to charge him to no avail as he eats a side slam and gets covered for two. Kane is surprised that he kicked out and goes up to the top rope. Big Red Machine flies! Clothesline connects. Kane holds up a hand to signal it's over, Miz tries to jump to the apron, Punk yanks him back down, Miz whips Punk into the steel steps, Morrison clocks Kane with the belt and then hits a springboard reversal off the ropes to make the cover for three. WINNER: JOHN MORRISON. Miz and Morrison give Kane a beatdown afterwards and Punk is unable to help. Both men pose with the belts as we go off the air.

WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison retained their gold on Sunday at Judgment Day, defeating ECW Champion Kane & CM Punk in Omaha, Neb. The Big Red Monster and Mr. Money in the Bank put forth a valiant effort, but will return to the Land of the Extreme without Tag Team gold. Kane chokeslammed The Miz outside of the ring, but moments after, Morrison delivered a devastating Moonlight Drive to Punk to pick up the win. Now that The Miz & Morrison have retained their gold, have they seen the last of Kane and Punk? Or will the ECW Champion and Mr. Money in the Bank continue to seek the WWE Tag Team Championship? ECW's Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin, is determined to end Kofi Kingston's undefeated streak. During an altercation on Tuesday, Kingston wished Benjamin good luck, and then leveled the Gold Standard. Will Benjamin be the Superstar to stop Kingston's winning ways? Or will the Jamaican Superstar continue his hot streak? Also on ECW on Sci Fi, Colin Delaney experienced a difficult first night as an official member of the active ECW roster. He picked up two brutal losses, one to Mike Knox, the other to ECW General Manager Armando Estrada. Well, at least the youngster had his own entrance music! How will Delaney handle the Land of the Extreme? Will the youngster find his way back to the winner's circle, or will he once again be the punching bag of his fellow ECW Superstars? Will Knox continue to beat on Delaney, or will Tommy Dreamer emerge by the youngster's side? And now that Estrada is an active member of the ECW roster, how will the GM's strong presence affect Delaney?

ECW is on the air! "If ya smelll, YOU'RE FIRED, gimme a HELL YEAH, the entire world is watching!" Armando: "Ladies and gentlemen, in less than two weeks WWE presents One Night Stand, where every match will be contested under extreme rules. With me now are four former ECW champions, one of which will become the #1 contender for the ECW title. Quite simply, at One Night Stand, we'll have an every man for himself Fatal Four-Way Singapore Cane match. I won't make you wait until then to fight it out. Later tonight the four of you will get to show our great fans which will be the favorite at One Night Stand because we'll have a tag team match. On one side the Shaman of Sexy, John Morrison, and he teams with Chavo Guerrero, as they take on Tommy Dreamer, and his partner CM Punk." Punk holds up his MITB case as if it means anything these days, then the opening ECW music and video plays. "DON'T QUESTION MY HEART!" The fireworks go off in Des Moines, IA! The Miz comes out to the ring with his tag belt on his shoulder as we get a replay OF Judgment Day, where Kane and Punk lost their title shot. If you saw a dork with a JBL = EPIC FAIL~! sign, that was me. Miz: "Please, I have a headache, cause two nights ago at Judgment Day I took a chokeslam on the floor. Despite the concussion, the soreness of my back, the stiff neck, and the constant headaches, I still stand here as one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions. Besides being a champion, a chick magnet, and the co-star of the top rated show on WWE.com, the Dirt Sheet, I am a competitor. So tonight, I'm going to do exactly what my tag team partner will do at One Night Stand, and that is, beat Kane." * The Miz v. Kane If Miz thought he had a headache before, wait 'til those pyros from Kane go off. On top of that Kane jacks him in the jaw then gives him a dropkic to the face right after the opening bell. Miz backs Kane into the corner for about half a second before Kane takes control again, then hurks him up behind his back before letting him fall on his face. Kane throws him to the corner but Miz gets a boot up. The offense is short lived though because Kane throws him over the ropes and out to the floor. Miz escapes from a possible scoop slam and shoves Kane into the ringpost. Kane winces and grabs the back of his head as the ref starts the countout, and Miz starts laying boots and forearms to his head when he gets back in after a 4 count. Miz splashes Kane in the corner and goes for a cover but only gets one. Miz attempts to apply a chinlock but Kane gets back to his feet with relative ease and scoops him for a slam, although he's still selling his head. Whip to the corner for two clotheslines. Side slam, leg hooked, two count. Kane going outside to the top rope, jump off, and the blow connects! Kane holds up a hand to signal that it's all over, Miz staggers into the chokeslam but then fights out of it with elbows. Kane gets mad and starts laying into Miz with right hands and boots, then hangs Miz up in a tree of woe before putting a boot to his throat. Kane goes outside and keeps pulling on Miz' neck from the tree of woe and the ref calls for the bell when he won't break. MIZ WINS BY DQ. Kane gives him a chokeslam after the bell for good measure. Kane's not done with him yet! The ref flees the ring as Kane comes back in with a steel chair. He wraps it around Miz' neck and goes to the top rope to jump on it but John Morrison runs out from the back and pulls Miz out of the ring before he can do it. Miz' music plays as Morrison drapes the tag belt over the body of his partner, who is laying limply on the ramp and has to be helped to his feet by both Morrison and a referee. A promo for Kofi Kingston v. Shelton Benjamin airs as we go to commercial break. We come back with a shot of WWE.com as Mike Adamle thanks us all for viewing Judgment Day, and he says it was a "special special night." I admit it was special to be close enough to ringside for Adamle to hear me yell out that he COMPLETELY SUCKS. Kofi Kingston makes his way down to the ring to the strains of S.O.S. as Tazz tells a knock knock joke with "JAMAICAN ME CRAZY" as the punchline. That Cthulhu damned phrase is going to end up on a Kofi Kingston shirt before long. * Shelton 'Gold Standard' Benjamin v. Kofi 'Jamaican Me Crazy' Kingston The bell rings and Kofi assumes his whacky arms out stance, Benjamin charges in, ducks under and shoves him to the corner until the ref calls for the clean break. Benjamin clubs his back, decks him with knees and punches along the ropes, attempts to whip him off the ropes and toss him high in the air but Kofi responds with a kick and jumps to the top of his head. Benjamin takes control again though and drops his knee right into the top turnbuckle - which looked like it would LEGIT hurt. Benjamin makes sure to drive the point home by posting the knee into the turnbuckle and then aiming kicks at the knee, then grounding Kofi so he can grab the foot and twist. Kofi escapes and hobbles to his feet but Benjamin kicks him in the gut. Kofi forgets to sell and starts using the leg for kicks, until he counters out of a move and crawls away again selling that he can't stand... except he stands long enough for an elevated dropkick for a two count. Benjamin counters the BO! BO! BO! double legdrop by catching Kofi in mid-air and rolling him up with a schoolboy for two. Benjamin goes for a splash in the corner but Kofi gets out of the way. Kofi goes for the Jamaican Buzzsaw but Benjamin ducks under it. Benjamin turns Kofi horizontal and slams him down face first then flips him over to get the pin and break Kofi's winning streak. WINNER: SHELTON BENJAMIN. Pretty good match - the crowd was into Kofi and was cheering for his comebacks, but the Gold Standard finally got the better of him tonight. He stands on the rampway staring at his opponent with a cocky grin as a promo for the WrestleMania 24 DVD set airs. * Colin Delaney & Kelly Kelly v. Layla & Mike KnoxApparently we've got a mixed tag team match! Colin's music plays instead of Kelly's, but Kelly is clearly stealing the show in her all silver smokin' hot ring attire. We see a replay of Armando Estrada beating up Colin two weeks ago before he managed to slide under him and roll Estrada up for the pin and to win his ECW contract. Kelly and Layla are the two who start this mixed tag match. Layla tries to throw Kelly out but Kelly holds on and then head scissors Layla out! Kelly jumps up to the second rope and hits a crossbody for a near fall but Knox pulls her off and then throws Delaney away, literally high through the air to the floor outside. Kelly Kelly hits her K2 finisher on Layla while Knox pursues Delaney on the outside. WINNERS: KELLY & DELANEY. Mike Knox DOES THE KNOX to Delaney in the ring.Armando Estrada comes out to the ring in his piehat and vest. He tells the ref it's an official match and to ring the bell. * Colin Delaney v. Armando Estrada Armando picks him upwith ease and slams him down hard flat on his back, covering the kid for three. WINNER: ARMANDO ESTRADA. He stands over the prone Delaney flexing his muscles and showing off his ripped abs. Kelly checks on the prone Knox with concern as we go to a video package with highlights from Judgment Day, including the main event steel cage match, before going to a commercial break. When we come back from break it's time for a RAW REBOUND. As you're no doubt aware by now, the real reason Regal lost the "loser gets fired" match with Kennedy last night was to get him off TV because he's suspended for no less than sixty days. Bloody shame that. Adamle and Tazz run down the card afterwards, including the just added Singapore Cane match, where the winner will face the ECW Champion at the upcoming Night of Champions PPV. CM Punk's music hits and our ring announcer says this is a "Former ECW Champions Tag Team Match." Punk charges out with his briefcase and poses with it (what a useless piece of **** that briefcase is now) before Tommy Dreamer's music hits. * Tommy Dreamer & CM Punk v. John Morrison & Chavo Guerrero (One Night Stand preview) We'll get this match after THESE commercial messages... and we're back! Morrison and Dreamer are the two who start us off when the bell rings. Dreamer gets him in a side headlock then comes off the ropes with a shoulder tackle, before picking Morrison up to flapjack him then hitting an armdrag when Morrison charges. A surprisingly loud "LET'S GO DREAMER" chant breaks out. Chavo tags in and he and Morrison bonk into each other. Dreamer scoop slams Chavo after Punk makes the tag and he jumps over the ropes to nail him, then hits a delayed vertical suplex on Chavo and covers him for two. Backbreaker by Punk for another near fall. Punk gets waylaid in the corner for a second when Morrison comes in off a tag, gets the advantage back, then Chavo and Morrison cut off the ring to work him over. Chavo tries to charge him and gets a forearm to the face before being tossed between the second and third rope, then Punk dives OVER the ropes to splash Morrison. When Punk tries to throw Chavo back in and follow up Morrison gives him an electric chair to the floor, which leads to another commercial break. And we're back with Morrison stretching out Punk's arms behind his back as the crowd in Des Moines is chanting for the Money With No Bank Champion. Russian leg sweep takes down Punk hard before Chavo tags in and hurdles over the ropes to land on Punk's sternum. Chavo continues the assault, landing blows to the head, yanking on a handful of his hair, then isolating his left arm in an armbar before applying a chinlock. Punk gets back to his feet and punches out but Chavo sweeps the leg and gets him down again, then drags him over to their corner to tag in Morrison. Morrison stomps on his head (Tazz calls it a "ghetto like stomp" - I guess he saw some like that in Red Hook) before a cover. Chavo back in and the ref warns him not to grab the hair. Chavo hits a dropkick to the head then waits for Punk to stand, but that's a mistake since Punk hits a high round kick. Chavo tags out before Punk can crawl to Dreamer for a tag and Morrison catches him. Before Morrison can do much damage, Punk catches him with a bulldog and both men are left laying. Punk crawls to his corner for a tag before Morrison can stomp him and Dreamer comes in a house of fire. Pump handle suplex for a two count. Dreamer misses a splash in the corner, but Morrison misses a springboard off the ropes. Dreamer hits Morrison with a DDT but Chavo jumps on him to break up the three count. Punk clears Chavo out, carrying them both over the top rope with his momentum. Dreamer sets up the tree of woe for the ECW dropkick but Morrison sits up to avoid it and simultaneously tags Chavo. Chavo hits the frogsplash and covers Dreamer for three. WINNERS: CHAVO & MORRISON. Big Show's music hits! Morrison and Chavo attempt to doubleteam him and both get shoved away with ease. Show gives Chavo a chokeslam, then gives Punk a chokeslam, then wraps an arm around Morrison's neck before tossing him away like a ragdoll. Show takes the mic. "You know, I think our ECW General Manager forgot the fact I was a former ECW Champion. So that's why I'm putting myself in the Singapore Cane match. You see, I was a former champion, and I will be the FUTURE champion." Show's music hits again. Dreamer slowly crawls to his feet, Show at first appears to be showing him respect and not attacking him, then Show wraps a hand around his neck and chokeslams him too. Show walks away with as we get a video replay of him destroying everybody that was in the match, winners and losers alike. He stands at the top of the ramp as Adamle says "we will NEVER, FORGET, AGAIN." That's how ECW ends!

The Big Show v. Tommy Dreamer Obviously Dreamer took exception to being the last man chokeslammed in the ring last week, and is not feeling intimidated by Paul 'The Giant' Wight's size. Adamle says that Dreamer is the guy who can give you an extra yard on 3rd and 2. Sorry Adamle, football references are not welcomed here, no moreso than Dreamer is in Big Show's ring. Showkishi pummels him, kicks him in the ribs, and quite literally walks all over him. Show puts him under the ropes and then stands on top of him using the ropes for balance. Dreamer is whipped to the corner, Show gets up a full head of steam, Dreamer sidesteps at the last second and starts trying to chop Big Show down. Unfortunately the babyface comeback is an EPIC FAIL as the crowd is chanting for Show, not Dreamer. Show blocks a DDT, body blocks a tackle, then chokeslams Dreamer for the easy pin. WINNER: THE BIG SHOW. Show walks to the top of the ramp and leaves with a shrug and a big smile on his face. Dreamer struggles to get out of the ring as we go to a highlight clip of Show beating RVD for the ECW Championship thanks to a screwjob by Paul Heyman. We return with a commercial for WrestleMania XXIV on DVD and Blu-Ray. Adamle once again calls the show THE ECW on Sci-Fi as the camera zooms in on the announce table, where we are joined by Shelton Benjamin. The Gold Standard says he won last week because he perfectly executed his gameplan against Kofi Kingston, and it should have been a surprise to no one least of all himself. It's also no surprise that Kofi Kingston comes out for a match during this, or that Adamle busts out "JAMAICAN ME CRAZY" again. * Kofi Kingston v. Mike Knox Adamle says Kingston has never faced anyone as "hostile, mobile and agile" as Mike Knox. Knox tries to charge Kingston and gets kicked in the ribs. Benjamin says that Kofi looks like the monkey man from Bloodsport. Knox pulls Kingston up by the hair and clubs him in the face. Knox hangs Kingston on the ropes, splashes on top of him, and leaves him laying limp. The crowd chants for Kofi to try to get him back into it. Double underhook suplex by Knox. Benjamin says it's not quite up to the Gold Standard but it wasn't bad. Adamle says last week was a chess match, and this week is a mismatch. Benjamin says Kingston may be less mentally sound now that he's tasted defeat, but the dropkick to Knox' chest looked VERY sound. Knox tries to throw Kingston into the corner but he goes over the ropes and pulls himself up from the outside to kick him in the head! Benjamin: "What the hell was that!" Knox got a cut under his eye in the process. Kingston hits the buzzsaw and makes the cover for three. WINNER: KOFI KINGSTON. Benjamin hits the ring immediately after the match is over and jumps Kingston. Tazz refers to the action as "a damn street fight." Kofi starts to get the upper hand but then Knox jumps in for the two-on-one beatdown, then DOES THE KNOX to finish Kingston off. Knox leaves, Benjamin remains to gloat, the crowd boos, then referee Scott Armstrong tells him to get out of the ring. Shelton's theme song plays as we get a replay of Knox getting injured, which may have been a forearm instead of the kick - hard to tell in SD when HD isn't available. (Cox Cable f'n sucks). We go back to a highlight of CM Punk winning the ECW Championship on September 4th, 2007 as we go to commercial. Guerrero and Punk is up next! We return with Chavo winning the ECW Championship on January 22nd of this year, thanks to a little help from Edge."Ooooooh, Chavo!" Here comes Chavito along with his bodyguard Bam Neely. The fans give both men a thumbs down as they make their way to the ring. * Chavo Guerrero v. CM Punk Here comes CM Punk with the shittiest prize in all of wrestling, the Money in the Bank briefcase. Other than Edge, everybody who's ever held this case has gotten injured, gotten screwed, gone on a losing streak or all of the above. Tazz shows off a singapore cane at the announce table and Adamle apologizes for saying Tazz had been in a cane match last week. Meanwhile the fans in the ring are chanting "CHA-VO SUCKS" as both men feint at each other with kicks. Punk takes him down and Chavo rolls under the ropes to protect himself. Punk starts aiming kicks at Chavo's back and he's comically overselling how much they heart. Leg drop by Punk and Chavo rolls away in pain. Chavo tries to reverse on Punk but he gets out of it and hits a nice snap suplex. Punk has Chavo grounded but all the heat in the crowd is for Punk, and even weirder it dies when Chavo goes on offense with an series of uppercuts, although they lead to a backslide attempt by Punk for two. Chavo drops Punk across the ribs and ALSO gets a two count. With no warning whatsoever we go to commercial at 9:33. AND WE'RE BACK! Chavo and Punk are having a slugfest and you'd think Punk was getting the worst of it by how he's selling, but he gives Chavo a hiptoss over the ropes and Chavito goes splat on the floor. Punk tries to run the ropes to dropkick Chavo down but when he hits the opposite side Bam Neely pulls the ropes down to dump Punk to the floor. A woozy Punk stands up and Chavo crossbodies him on the outside before throwing him back in to cover for 2. Another Punk crowd chant. Chavo pulls Punk's head up and Punk fires reverse elbows at his head. Chavo tries to whip him across but Punk reverses to a spinning kick. Chavo tries to charge Punk but a snap suplex gets a two count. Punk is put into a single leg Boston crab and he crawls his way to the ropes for the ref break. Chavo shimmies as Punk gets up slowly but it's Punk who connects with a spinning backfast for 2.8. Chavo goes for the three amigos to a huge chorus of boos, but on the third he nearly gets caught in the G2S. Punk tries to go for a step-up knee in the corner but Chavo ducks and schoolboys Punk for the three count. Another loss for the supposed Money in the Bank champion, the weakest title holder of any kind in any fed EVER. WINNER: CHAVO GUERRERO. We flash back to Dreamer winning the ECW title on April 22nd, 2000 before going to commercial. The Raw Rebound is the first thing we see when we come back from break, with Vince promising to give away cash every week on Raw. Colin Delaney is interviewed by Lena Yada backstage and he says WWE is amazing, he gets to live out his dreams, and that the fans will get to live out theirs too. Yada asks him about the Draft and he reluctantly says a whole new roster of opponents would be great, and says he doesn't want to get drafted because he'd like to stay on ECW. He concludes nobody would be better to get drafted than Armando Estrada. We flashback to the Night of Champions when Johnny Nitro beat CM Punk and claimed the ECW title, right before he became John Morrison. Speak of the devil, here he comes for his patented slow-mo' hair blow! Morrison comes over and grabs the singapore cane off the announce table, taking turns pounding it on the desk and pointing it at Adamle before flippantly tossing it back to him. * John Morrison & The Miz {C} v. Kane {C} This match begins after these commercial messages and a promo for Undertaker v. Edge at One Night Stand.... AND WE'RE BACK! Here comes the Big Red Machine, with the ECW title around his waist, and he hits the cornerpost ring pyros spot. Somebody in the front row actually has a "MARRY ME KANE" sign. Well it takes all types to make the world go around. Said woman also seems to be wearing a Roddy Piper t-shirt. It's not long after the bell rings that Miz and Morrison are trying to double team Kane, although for some reason they are making legal tags. I don't know why you would both in a handicap match. Anyway they keep playing "distract the ref, non-legal man attack Kane" over and over again until Kane puts a big boot into Miz' face. Miz has a shitty new haircut BTW, it looks like a mohawk somebody forgot to finish. Miz gets tossed on his behind, Morrison gets knocked to the floor, Kane goes top rope, clothesline connects! Chokeslam signalled. Double chokeslam applied! Miz and Morrison kick out of it. Scott Armstrong calls for the bell because they're both attacking at once. LAME. BIG DADDY KANE WINS BY DQ. Punk comes in to even up the odds. Chavo comes in to uneven them, Dreamer comes in to even them back up again. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. WELL IT'S THE BIG SHOW. As you might expect Show cleans house, staring with a headbutt to Punk, then a chop to Morrison, then a headbutt to Dreamer too. Show pulls Morrison up for a frying pan hand chop of his own, then turns around to see Kane waiting for him. Show and Kane glare at each other as Tazz and Adamle hype up the possibility of violence between both men, and that's how we go off the air

We start backstage and we see packing crews clearing out an office. ECW GM Armando Alejandro Estrada walks in and asks what they're doing. A crew member says that the general manager told them to clear everything out. Estrada takes a placard away and says, "I AM the ECW General Manager!" The camera then pans over and we see Theodore Long, who smiles and says, "Holla, playa! Holla!" HOLY ****! TEDDY LONG IS THE NEW ECW GM! We go out to the arena as Mike Adamle and Tazz welcome us to the show, and they're just as shocked about the surprise that was just dropped on us! Fatal Four-Way: "Mr. Money in the Bank" CM Punk vs Tommy Dreamer vs. Chavo Guerrero vs WWE Tag Team champion John Morrison As Punk & Dreamer come into the arena, we recap the Singapore Cane match from Sunday's PPV, and very CLEARLY shows how Big Show broke his left orbital bone and bled like a stuck pig before he wont the match. Guerrero & Morrison make their seperate entrances next. The winner of this match will take on ECW Champion Kane in a non-title match. What's the point of this match if it's non-title? Hell if I know. Dreamer & Morrison pair off, Punk & Guerrero pair off. Punk with knees in Guerrero's midsection, Guerrero reverses the situation. Morrison with a kick to Dreamer's back, goes for the Snapshot, Dreamer moves out of the way, elbow drop off the ropes. CM Punk suplexes Guerrero on top of Morrison, goes for a pin, Dreamer pulls him off, forearm shot, Punk & Dreamer pair off in the corner. Morrison with a European Uppercut on Guerrero, and Guerrero gives on eback. Punk has Dreamer tied up in the corner, Guerrero has Morrison on the mat on the other side. Punk throws Dreamer aside, comes over and rolls up Guerrero for a pin attempt. Morrison takes out Punk and goes after Dreamer, Guerrero jumps Morrison, Morrison with an European Uppercut tot take him out. Dreamer whips Morrison off the ropes, Morrison hangs onto teh ropes, Dreamer clotheslines him out, goes outside, runs the apron and nails a clothesline onto Morrison on the flor. Gurerrero with a plancha onto Dreamer. Punk with a suicide dive through the ropes onto Guerrero. Morrison takes out Punk from behind, grabs Guerrero and gives him the Snake Eyes on the apron. Morrison grabs Punk and puts him in the ring. Morrison whips Punk tinto the corner, Punk reverses, hits the kneelift, goes for the bulldog, Morrison ducks out of it, hits the spinnign heel kick off the ropes. Dreamer comes in, picks up Morrison, Morrison wiggles out, Dreamer holds on and flips Morrison over into the Texas Cloverleaf. Guerrero in and kicks Dreamer in the face, and then pulls of the Three Amigos, then goes to the top turnbuckle. Morrison runs up and cuts him off, clubs Guerrero in the head, Guerrero fights back, Morrison with a headbutt, goes up top, sets up for a superplex, Guerrero blocks it. Punk comes up and bunches both men, and they BOTH end up in the Tree of Woe! Dreamer runs up and hits a baseball slide dropkick into Morrison's face. Punk leaps in and dropkicks Dreamer, pin attempt, two-count. Guerrero recovers and hits a Five Star Frog Splash onto Dreamer, stands up and holds his midsection in pain. CM Punk picks up Guerrero into the GTS, nails it and covers for the pin. WINNER: CM Punk, by pinfall. CM Punk will go on to face Kane later tonight. We go backstage, and Teddy Long is showing Armando Estrada the letter from the WWE Board of Directors authorizing Long to take over ECW. Teddy Long explains that Estrada simply cannot be both an executive and an active member of the roster. Estrada is basically begging for a job, and Long says that he's still a highly talented member of the WWE family, and he's going to book him in a match tonight against the WWE United States Champion Matt Hardy. "The Gold Standard" Shelton Benjamin vs. Matt Sydal We come back from break and Kofi Kingston has jointed the announcing team. GEE, I wonder why? *heh* Benjamin enters teh arena and is announced, we flash back to last week as Kofi Kingston d. Mike Knox, and gets jumped by Benjamin who was at the broadcast table. Benjamin's opponent is in the ring already and is announced. Benjamin with a waistlock into a pumphandle slam that is released mid-air, and Sydal looks hurt. Benjamin chokes Sydal on the middle rope. Referee breaks, and Sydal explodes with a lot of aerial moves, goes to teh top turnbuckle, nails Benjamin with a double-knee dropkick, pin attempt, two count. Sydal off the ropes, goes for a cross body block, Benjamin sidesteps it and pushes Sydall back off. Benjamin lays in punches and kicks, lifts Sydal up high and drops him over his knee, followed by a choke of the boots and stomping Sydal down. Benjamin throws Sydal upside-down into the corner, pulls him to the middle of the ring, picks Sydal up by his hair, taunts Kingston and then locks in a half-nelson. Sydal punches his way out, bounces off the ropes, eats a clothesline from Benjamin. Benjamin picks up Sydal and throws him through the ropes in front of the announcer's table, then looks over at Kingston before he steps out. Benjamin walks over to Kingston, Kingston stands up and they start trading words. Sydal catches Sheton with a punch to the midsection. Benjamin picks up Sydal for a power slam, THROWS HIM INTO KINGSTON! Benjamin crawls back into the ring to beat the count-out. WINNER: Shelton Benjamin, by countout. Kofi Kingston recovers, slides in the room and beats the **** out of Benjamin! Benjamin tries to roll out of the ring, Kingston follows, throws Benjamin into the ringpost. Kingston tries to throw Benjam into the steel ringsteps, Benjamin reverses it, and Kingston's head cracks the corner of the steps with his head and right shoulder! Referee pulls Benjamin away and tells him that's enough, we replay the match highlights and then go to break. Armando Estrada vs. WWE United States Champion Matt Hardy (non-title match) Matt Hardy is introduced first, great cheers. Estrada is introduced next, and he just doesn't look very happy, but resigned to make the best of this. Damn Estrada looks in good shape. Bell rings, Estrada tries with a boot to the midsection, Hardy catches it and nails a clothesline. Adamle says he was slammed to the canvas. That's gonna make a YouTube clip! Estrada to the corner, Hardy follows, throws him out, Hardy up to the top turnbuckle, nails an elbow drop. Hardy waits, nails a kick to the imdsection, Twist of Fate, 1-2-3. WINNER: Matt Hardy, by pinfall. I think that makes Estrada 1-1 in his WWE wrestling career, yes? As Hardy starts to celebrate, ECW GM Teddy Long comes out, tells Hardy and the referee to stick around. Long tells Estrada that he's got one more chance to earn his money and keep his contract by wrestling another match right now... against Colin Delaney! Armando Estrada vs. Colin Delaney Delaney runs in, rolls up Estrada, 1-2-KICKOUT! Estrada recovers, clubs Delaney, sets up for an inverted powerbomb, Delaney wiggles out, schoolby, 1-2-3! WINNER: Colin Delaney, by pinfall. Estrada rolls out of the ring, holding his head. Hardy gets in the ring and congratulates Delaney on his win. We go to break. We come back and Estrada is arguing with Long in the back for his job. Long says he wants to fire Estrada because he just lost two matches. Estrada begs him to keep him around until the WWE Draft Lottery, he'll re-negotiate his contract, whatever he has to do. Long says that he'll keep Estrada around, but not as a contracted wrestler. He'll have to earn his contract, just like he made Colin Delaney do. "What goes around, comes around, playa!" Long says that he's got one more word for Estrada as he leaves. Estrada turns around and bumps into Ron Simmons... you guessed it, "DAMN!" We do a promo for WWE's press conference that was held this afternoon to discuss the WWE "Million Dollar Mania" promotion. Vince McMahon said that he will give away $1 million EACH AND EVERY WEEK! Wow, that's even better than what's been talked about! Off to another break. "Mr. Money in the Bank" CM Punk vs. ECW Champion Kane (non-title match) Individual introductions are quickly made, bell rings, Punk with a few kicks and tries for a single-leg shoot, Kane tosses him off. Punk tries another one, Kane sidesteps it. Punk with a waistlock into a side headlock, Kane pushes him off the ropes and hits a shoulderblock. Punk picks himself up and holds his head, then Punk tries an armwringer into an armbar, Kane throws him down again to break the hold. Punk picks himself up a little slower this time. Kane starts to corner punk and backs him into a corner, reverse elbow and a series of punches until the ref breaks. Punk with a kick to the midsection, forearm shots, spinning heel kcik, boot to the chest and a clothesline sends Kane to the outside. Kane grabs Punk's legs under the ropes, pulls him out and nails a big right. Throws Punk back in the ring, gets back in himself, kick to the guts, headbutts Punk into the turnbuckle, lays in some uppercuts, then chokes Kane with his hand until the referee breaks. Kane pulls Punk out, picks him up over his back and chokes Punk. Punk rolls out, immediately goes for a clinch and lays in a dozen knees to the head, tries for the running kneeto the head in the corner, Kane grabs him and nails Snake Eyes in the corner, then kicks Punk in the head, knocking him over the top rope and out of the ring, we go to break. Back from break, Kane has Punk in the middle of the ring in an abdominal stretch, punching Punk in the head. Punk works his way out, whips Kane off the ropes, tries for his own abdominal stretch, Kane with a hiptoss to take him down. Kane picks up Punk, snapmare takeover, and a dropkick to the head, Kane covers, one-count. Kane punches Punk in the head, Punk fires back, Kane rolls Punk over and punches him in the back, then goes into a body scissor to submit him, pulling the hair occasionally, and getting a few pin attempts with the shoulders on the mat. Punk sits up, Kane tries to find a hold on him, Punk starts elbowing Kane and works his way out, kick to the legs, whips Kane off the ropes, Kane reverses, ducks, Punk with a sunselt flip into a pin, two-count. Punk back up first and fires a few rights, Kane fires s back with a right, Punk pushes Kane into the turnbuckle, Kane stops himself, turns around, Clothsline from Hell, cover, two-count. Kane goes back to the body scissor for the submission, rolls him to his shoulders for a few pin attempts. Kane gets a keylock armbar on Punk, but Punk moves around and punches Kane in the face, making Kane cover up, and Punk with more and more punches, Kane finally gets frustrated and just kicks Punk in the face while he's on the mat. Kane stands up, Punk with a kick to the face himself, stands up, kicks, punches, whips Kane off the ropes, reversal, Punk slides under the legs, hits a kick, and Kane responds with a big boot to the face. Punk looks dazed, Kane picks him up, whips Punk into the corner, charges, Punk reverses and hits a pair of knees, no a trio of knees into Kane's face, goes for the bulldog, but Kane stops him, pulls Punk in and converts it into a belly-to-back suplex! Cover, 1-2-KICKOUT! Kane whips Punk into the corner, charges, Punk with the boot up, goes up to the top turnbuckle, grabs Kane by the head, BULLDOG! Punk with the pin attempt, two-count. Punk tries to whip Kane off the ropes, Kane reverses it, grabs Punk and executes a side slam. Kane goes to the top turnbuckle, flies and nails the Clothesline from Hell, covers, 1-2-KICKOUT. Kane stands up, frustrated, can't believe he can't put Punk away. Kane raises his arm, indicating he's going for the chokeslam. Kane grabs Punk, Punk with a high kick to stop it. Kane throws Punk over the top rope, Punk stops himself, gries a dropkick off the rope, Kane stops him, tries for the chokeslam again, Punk wiggles out, tries for the GTS, Kane rolls off, kicks punk in the midsection, FINALLY nails the chokeslam on the 3rd attempt, and gets the win. WINNER: Kane, by pinfall. Kane gets jumped from behind by John Morrison & Mike Mizain. Morrison throws Kane into the ropes and kicks him, Morrison kicks Punk in the ribs several times to roll him out of the ring, then goes back to Kane. Kane fights them off, gets Miz in a chokehold, Morrison with a knee right into the face. Morrison with a kick to the midsection, bounces off the ropes and nails Kane with the hangman's neckbreaker. The WWE Tag Team Champions raise their arms and leave the ring. Kane rolls over, grabbing his head and seething at the tag champs. We replay the match highlights and the attack afterwards.

First up in San Jose though is the biggest little man in WWE, Hornswaggle! * Hornswaggle v. Armando Estrada Would you give a guy who wasn't even under contract a rematch against an opponent who has already beaten him? Apparently you would if you were Teddy Long. Armando takes his sweet time taking his vest off as Hornswaggle smells one of his Cuban cigars, decides he doesn't like it, snaps it in two and throws it at Armando. He takes offense and gives chase, but Hornswaggle goes under the ring to pull a bucket of marbles and dump it on the floor. As you might expect Armando slips on the marbles. The slapstick match moves back in the ring where Armando gets sprayed in the face with a water gun, then back outside as Hornswaggle goes under the apron. When Armando tries to crawl under to find him it's FINLAY who soaks him with a water gun. Finlay throws him back in and Hornswaggle goes up for the Tadpole Splash, and hits it for the three count. WINNER: HORNSWAGGLE. Tazz does one of the most retarded interviews I've ever heard on a WWE program afterwards with Finlay. I'm not going to even ATTEMPT to recap it. Meanwhile we're still supposed to believe a guy with "no contract" has his own entrance music and is showing up on TV every week. At least when Colin Delaney "wasn't signed" they kayfabed us by having him come out with no music before giant men beat the holy living hell out of him in easy squashes. For every tenth of a point Raw gained in the ratings this week, I hope ECW goes down in the ratings by at least as much if not MORE. Commercial. We're back with a plug for one of the WWE magazines, as Tazz points out that Layla did a dance routine during the commercial break (even though this is pre-taped) before we see Matt Striker in the ring. It's time for another match! * Matt Striker v. Evan 'Air' Bourne The match starts with highlights of Bourne winning a tag team match with Kofi Kingston last week. Striker tries to snapmare Bourne but he lands on his feet. Bourne tries to charge Striker in the corner, gets floated over to the apron, tries to jump back in but "The Extreme Educator" catches him coming in and gives him a twisting neckbreaker hanging off the top rope. A couple of near falls follow as a ticker scrolls at the bottom of the screen reminding us to register to win McMahon's Millions on WWE.com. Meanwhile Striker says to no one in particular (audience, camera, it's hard to tell where it's directed) that Bourne isn't going to make a name on him. Bourne takes a boot to the groin area but still recovers and goes up to the top rope for a shooting star press and hits it for the three count! WINNER: EVAN BOURNE. We see a replay of the SSP and it's a damn pretty one from Matt Syd.. err Evan Bourne. Unfortunately he can't celebrate for long because Mike Knox hits the ring and DOES THE KNOX to him. Adamle wonders why Knox would do such a thing and Tazz points out he was coming out for a match with Kofi Kingston up next anyway, at which point we go to commercial break. Knox is still in the ring when we return a few minutes later, which again isn't that hard since this whole thing was taped a couple weeks ago, and after a brief replay Kofi Kingston's music and pyro both hit. * Kofi Kingston v. Mike Knox Thankfully Adamle does not make me crazy by saying the worst catchphrase in all of wrestling commentary when Kingston comes out. Knox and Kingston have an aborted lockup to start the match and then Knox just throws him into the corner for a beating. He tries to throw him to the opposite corner but Kingston gets rolling with the kicks. He tries to leap on top of Knox but that's a mistake as Knox grabs him by the face and throws his head into the turnbuckle. The almost dead San Jose crowd starts to slowly clap for Kingston as Knox chickenwings him, and Kingston stands up briefly before Knox grounds him again and sticks a knee in his back. Knox gets out by stomping on the feet and starts his comeback with a crossbody off the ropes for two, then follows it up with a dropkick. Kingston is rolling and is prepared to go for a pinfall but Shelton Benjamin's entrance music hits and he jumps into the ring to beat Kingston up and suplex him across the ring. KINGSTON WINS BY DQ I SUPPOSE. Kingston ducks further offense from Benjamin and in the process Shelton accidentally kicks Knox in the head. Kingston walks backwards up the ramp, clutching at his back, and laughing. The replay shows us the spear by Shelton that caused the DQ, the nasty suplex, and the kick to Knox' face. Knox is not pleased with Shelton as we go to commercial with a promo for Kane and Big Show's "confrontation" tonight and for The Rock's three-disc DVD set,and when we return there's a replay of the cash giveaway from last night's Raw. For all the details read Killa Kev's WWE Raw Recap. Tazz plugs the giveaway and Adamle reminds us to go to WWE's website and register. Backstage Teddy Long offers Finlay and Hornswaggle a contract of some sort, while Teddy's assistant Tiffany tells "Horny" that if he signs they'll get a shot at Miz & Morrison's tag titles during Night of Champions. Miz walks in just after "Horny" tried to molest her and Teddy Long gets pissed at him mouthing off in his office. Fortunately for Long, Finlay handles the situation by decking Miz and tell him that he's "dead serious" about their tag title shot agains the champs. CM Punk's match with Miz's tag partner is up after these commercials! * CM Punk v. John Morrison We return from break with Punk waiting in the ring, while Tazz & Adamle throw to a replay of Miz getting clocked by Finlay before break. Shortly after Morrison comes out and stops to pose with his WWE Tag Team belt for the slow-mo' hair blow. It's been said before but Morrison's physique really is freaky, to the point it's very hard to believe he's "natural" in any way. I suppose as long as he keeps testing clean and doesn't get suspended by WWE we'll just have to take their word for it. Nonetheless if you look at the difference between Punk and Morrison it's damn near night and day. The two lock up at the opening bell and Punk pushes him all the way to the corner, and Morrison screams at the ref to get him off. Punk shoves him in the chest, Morrison mushes him in the face, Punk gives him a kick and then knocks him down with a shoulder tackle. The two enjoy slapping each other in the face before Punk finally knocks him down and covers for a one count. Eventually Morrison gets Punk off his feet and he hits the apron, and now Morrison's got the heat. He gets a cover for two as Punk clutches at his ribs and the crowd chants for Punk to make a comeback. Morrison rolls him to his side, drives a knee into the ribs and pulls up. Punk sells as Adamle discusses something similar happening to him at the bottom of an NFL pileup "where the ref couldn't see it." Fascinating Adamle. No seriously, you really add to the play-by-play of this show. In fact ECW has the best commentary team of any show on television, and if you believe all of that then Morrison is a natural athlete who's never seen a steroid in his life. It's not long before he goes back to the knee to the ribs, and this time the crowd doesn't bother to chant for Punk's comeback - he just starts making it anyway. Nonetheless it doesn't last long as Morrison picks him up and drops him chest first on the ropes. That's not enough for Morrison, who decides to stomp on the ribs for good measure before getting another two count. Tazz makes bad jokes about "Dr. Adamle" as Punk tries to get a G2S out of nowhere before Morrison blasts him in the ribs with a knee. He gives him a running kick to the midsection while he's on his knees and goes for another cover. Ground 'n pound by Morrison before another two count, followed by a body scissor. San Jose could almost not care less, but just when you think they're totally dead a LIGHT CM Punk chant breaks out. Punk starts another comeback with an airplane spin, selling his ribs afterwards, then ducks Morrison coming off the ropes to hit him with a snap powerslam for two. Adamle keeps bringing up Grey's Anatomy, and I know he means the textbook and not the TV show on ABC, but I wonder if anybody watching ECW is paying enough attention to realize it. Sometimes matches get better the longer they go on, but this is not one of them. I think I'd actually rather listen to "The Tuesday Night Delight" cut promos about the "Palace of Wisdom" for four or five minutes instead. Punk keeps selling, Morrison keeps beating him up, and Punk is easily the most impotent Money in the Bank holder in all of WWE history. All you can say when this match comes to an end is that Punk LUCKED OUT by catching Morrison coming off the ropes and immediately hitting the Go 2 Sleep for three. WINNER: CM PUNK. The way Punk's selling afterwards you'd think he lost instead of won, although he's smiling and laughing as he holds up his four star briefcase. Miz comes out holding an icebag to his face and a mic in the other hand, cutting a promo to remind us all that Morrison is still one half of the tag champions. Morrison's music plays as Miz says they'll be victorious at Night of Champions and closes with "BE, JEALOUS." The Kane and Big Show confrontation is NEXT! Teddy Long is in the ring when we come back. "Ladies and gentlemen, in less than two weeks, the ECW Championship will be defended with one of the brand's biggest ever matches on PPV. Let's bring out the challenger, the world's largest athlete, and the only man to have held the WWE, World Heavyweight and ECW Championship - The Big Show!" Show's music plays and he's all smiles as he walks down to the ring, even slapping hands with fans on the ramp. Large and in charge has a mic in his hand and they're finally toned down the makeup job on his face selling his legit injury. Long introduces Kane and the champ comes out with the belt around his waist and no smile whatsoever on his face. Adamle puts them over as "agile athletes" and Tazz says he agrees "one thousand percent." Woo, excitement. Long tells us that this is a forum where both men can say what they want, and Show goes first. "Y'know Kane, we've been opponents, we've been partners, we've been champions together in the past. The cold hard fact is, you have something I want, and at the Night of Champions, I'm gonna take it back." Kane: "Show you may be the world's largest athlete and one of the most dominant superstars in WWE history, but what you're NOT going to be is ECW Champion. You're right, you do know me. You've seen what I'm capable of, but you have NO idea what I'm willing to do to keep MY ECW Championship." Show: "You know what you're right, I do know you. You are a sick, twisted, sadistic FREAK. But you see, I went through hell to get this match, and if need be, I will put you through hell to win it." Kane: "Well big man, hell is standing right here in front of you." The two get nose to nose as Teddy Long tries to get them to calm down, then out of not-quite-nowhere Mark Henry's music hits. "Just a minute before y'all start beating each other up. Both of you need to watch it and calm down for a minute. You're gonna need to save your strength." Henry marches down the ramp and up the steel steps into the ring. "Because if I'm not drafted on Monday night, you can bet yo' bottom dollar, that after the Night of Champions whichever of the two of you is holding the title, I'm coming after." Show looks at Kane and Kane looks at Show, and by non-verbal agreement they both give Mark Henry a double chokeslam. They immediately go back to staring each other down as ECW goes off the air.

6-24-08 ECW ON SCI FI RECAP Video package to start with highlights from last night's WWE Raw including Mr. McMahon's apparent demise. Teddy Long opens the show to inform us he wishes Mr. McMahon a speedy recovery, and that Vince would want the show to go on. Last night on Raw was the 2008 WWE Draft, so Mr. Long would like to introduce us to the newest member of the ECW roster brought over in the draft - United States Champion Matt Hardy! * CM Punk & Matt Hardy v. Morrison & Miz Apparently non-title all the way around, as I assume Punk's briefcase and Hardy's US title are not on the line, nor would Morrison & Miz' WWE Tag Team belts be. Hardy and Morrison start the match and Matt quickly takes him over as the crowd in the Toyota Center pop for him. Miz and Punk both tag in and Punk quickly gets the better of him with kicks before Hardy is tagged back in. Miz knocks Hardy down, posts him in the corner, then both Morrison and Miz start double teaming him and pick him apart. There's confusion in the ring when Punk gets the hot tag and he has to direct traffic, but eventually he manages to cover Miz for two. Morrison and Miz pull the ropes so Punk goes splat on the floor and we go to a commercial break. Morrison and Punk are doing battle when we come back from break, and Morrison clobbers him off a double team move to make a cover for two. Morrison starts blatantly choking Punk and the ref has to pull him off. Morrison pulls him all the way to the apron and continues to work on the head and neck, and then Miz does extra damage while the ref is busy warning him to knock it off. Miz comes in off a tag and they hit a double gutbuster for a two count. Morrison eventually tags back in. Adamle makes some bizarre reference to the "togs" of the wrestlers in the match right before Punk tries to hit a Go 2 Sleep, but Morrison rolls out of it. Nonetheless Hardy gets the hot tag and sends Morrison flying through the air on a high back bodydrop, then covers for two. Hardy with a side effect for two before Miz breaks it up. Punk clears him out to the floor. Matt signals for the Twist of Fate. Morrison blocks it and shoves Matt off, and Miz trips the leg. Matt gets a kick in the head from Morrison but kicks out at 2.9. Hornswoggle comes over to distract Miz, Hardy finally hits the Twist of Fate and gets the three count. WINNERS: MATT HARDY & CM PUNK. Shelton Benjamin & Kofi Kingston will be having an Extreme Rules match NEXT! First these commercial messages, including a promo for Night of Champions. * Shelton Benjamin v. Kofi Kingston (Extreme Rules Match) The self-described Gold Standard and three-time Intercontinental Champion comes out to the ring first. Next up is Kofi Kingston, the man who got jobbed out to JBL on TV last night. Bad night for Kofi. Adamle busts out that "Jamaican me CRAZY" line again. Ugh. Kingston starts out punching Benjamin but the Gold Standard whips him into the corner then shoots him off the ropes for a clothesline. It's not long before the action spills out to the floor, which is exactly what you'd expect in an Extreme Rules match. Shelton takes Tony Chimel's mic and cracks Kingston in the face with it, to a loud audible pop, then sends him face "flush" as Adamle says into the steel steps. Benjamin gets a folding ring from under the chair, probably for Hornswoggle to sit on before he randomly interfered in the last match. Tazz and Adamle confirm my theory has validity! Back in the ring now and Benjamin has thrown in a trash can and lid, but he opts to give Kingston a gutbuster first. He goes for a cover but Kingston has a foot on the ropes. Benjamin throws the trash can into Kingston's face and then drags him back to the center of the ring. He wedges a can into the ropes and pulls Kingston up, but Kofi is starting to fight back. It's for naught. The beatdown continues as we pass the 30 minutes mark, with the now crumpled trash can and a steel chair laying in the ring. Kingston hasn't had any offense in ages. Benjamin splashes him in the corner and prepares to do it a second time but Kingston finally grabs a garbage can lid and cracks him as he comes soaring in. Kingston continues to crack him in the bean with it over and over and as Mauro Ranallo might say Benjamin is on Queer Street. Kofi grabs a steel chair and Benjamin begs off, then kicks his opponent in the balls. Benjamin tries to pick him up but Kofi reverses him into a trash can then hits him with the Jamaican buzzsaw for a three count. WINNER: KOFI KINGSTON. Kane v. Mark Henry is coming up later in the show, but for now these messages promoting Hellboy II! When we return it's another look at last night's Raw, which was expertly covered in Killa Kev's WWE Raw Recap. The Raw Rebound focuses largely on who was drafted, so if that's all you want to know check out WWE Draft Results (Who Went Where). Adamle and Tazz discuss the changes and how tremendous the show was, then promote Night of Champions starting with Triple H v. John Cena, followed by Miz & Morrison v. Finlay & Hornswoggle, then Edge v. Batista, not to forget Matt Hardy v. Chavo Guerrero, and in yet another title match Kane takes on Big Show. Kane gives a menacing chuckle and then the camera zooms in on one pupil of his eyes as Adamle makes some quip about Mark Henry putting him in darkness as we go to break. * Mike 'Do the' Knox v. Evan 'Air' Bourne Bourne tries for a single leg and not surprisingly Knox starts clubbing his back as hard as possible, then tries to throw him clean out of the ring. Bourne baseball slides to save himself, fights his way back into the ring, but only gets pulled into a hard clothesline for his efforts. Knox drops knee lunges into his gut and then wipes him out in the corner with a big splash. Knox has Bourne in double underhooks and is basically having his way with him. Bourne tries to headbutt his way out and gets clubbed in the spine again before being stretched out over one knee. Adamle says Bourne has guts and predictably Tazz responds that his guts may soon be spilled all over the ring. Bourne ducks a big boot, gets out of being picked up for a scoop slam, starts firing off kicks and goes for a top rope missile dropkick that gets 2. It's all for naught though as Mike Knox eventually overwhelms him with a backbreaker followed by his signature DO THE KNOX finisher. WINNER: MIKE KNOX. Mark Henry v. Kane is up next and a grinning Mark Henry is headed to the ring as we go to break. We return to ECW with a promo to watch Raw next week and see what "shocking developments" are next, as we once again see a crushed Mr. McMahon being stretchered out from under the collapsed stage. Big Show's music hits and he makes his way out to the ringside announce table. Kane's pyro hits and the champ comes out wearing his title belt as usual. Show is looking 100% now, no more makeup on his eye. He notes that he and Kane used to be tag team champions, but now all he wants from Kane is the belt he has. * Kane v. Mark Henry As Henry enters Big Show describes the strategy to beating Henry as "wear him down." Show also notes that Kane is incredibly resilient and VERY hard to wear down, as he seems to sit up out of everything. The opening bell for the match doesn't even ring until 10 o'clock (11 for those of you on the East coast). IT'S A SLABBAKNACCA KAING! Guess we'll never hear good ol' J.R. say those words on Raw any more, but it aptly describes this match here. Henry keeps trying to knock Kane down and vice vers as text scrolls across the screen reminding us the Supplemental Draft takes place on www.WWE.com at noon EST. Henry tries to bear hug the air out of Kane's lungs, but Kane pushes him in the mush to create distance between the two. Henry backs him up up to the corner but Kane hits a big boot and a high head kick in response. He even hits a dropkick and covers for two. Kane tries to go top rope but Henry runs over and knocks him down to crotch him. Kane looks over at Big Show, and Henry picks him up for the world's strongest slam and makes the cover for three. WINNER: MARK HENRY. Show gives himself credit for the "assist" and Show says Kane'll no doubt be angry about the loss when they fight each other Sunday.
