Why does the Hockey public (mainly canda) generally dislike the Philadelphia Flyers?

I hate the Habs, just wondering why are they nicknamed "the habs"?

back in the day canadiens meant french-canadian. English people didn't call themselves canadians. The word habitant means "people of the land". so the hockey club name was canadien habitant "meaning people of the canadian land"

The Flyers tried something different for a change. The Habs should of never traded Huet. Price wasn't ready for the playoffs but he will be a great goalie in a few years.

Does it seem like the Redwings and Penguins wanted a extra home game to wrap up their series at home? I watched both games and the effort just wasn't there like in the first three games.
