A new reality series pilot starring Jimmy Hart and a number of former wrestlers who were now involved in real estate is being shopped around to potential networks.

Mick Foley recently shut down his eBay store (he was selling old memorabilia) at WWE's request.

TNA's Matt Morgan opted out of American Gladiators because their people wanted him to sign a two-year deal with a six-year option. They wanted Gladiators to be his first priority, including being available for potential touring. Morgan decided this could lead to potential problems in TNA since he wanted to focus on pro wrestling so he chose TNA instead. His push had been on hold until TNA was sure he was onboard full time.

TNA Knockout Ms. Payton Banks, (she was hot) who wrestles in FIP, ROH, and other indies as "RAIN", is pretty much done with TNA after the angle shot at Lockdown where Roode was upset with her and berated her. She had been working as Roode's valet for a few months in a feud with Roode's former valet Ms. Brooks. There still is a chance she may return, but its not likely in the near future.

WWE has suspended creative team member Michael Hayes because Hayes apparently made an explicitly insulting comment towards Smackdown star Mark Henry during WrestleMania week in Florida. WWE tried to keep the suspension quiet by telling people Hayes was away on vacation, but word spread within the company over the weekend that he was serving a suspension. Hayes is the head writer for Smackdown and has been with WWE for many years. You may remember him as announcer Dok Hendrix, but if you go back further than that you'll remember him as a founding member of The Fabulous Freebirds of WCCW, NWA and WCW fame.

The Ultimate Warrior Announces His Return To Pro Wrestling.........
Staggering news resounded in the NWE Arena during the Madrid show on April 19th. More than 15,000 fans had the chance to see the award presentation which celebrated the career of professional wrestling icon, The Ultimate Warrior; who was in attendance to accept his award. However, controversy erupted during the presentation when NWE Champion Orlando Jordan mocked a young fan of Warrior's at the event. Warrior was quick to come to the defense of this fan which led to a heated conflict between Warrior and Jordan.

On June 25th 2008 in Barcelona, after a 12 year absence from the ring, The Ultimate Warrior will officially make his wrestling comeback in a match against Jordan. The news was confirmed this morning by Warrior's agent, Bernie Gernay in a statement. "For over 10 years this is what the entire wrestling world has been waiting for, the return of the Warrior. We are excited to bring back the greatest character and energy to ever get into the ring. Ultimate Warrior is an incredible marketing machine and has kept a tremendous value to his name which is why the NWE has stepped up with a substantial deal that worked very well for both sides. There is no disputing that Warrior left a mark on professional wrestling that no other talent did and the reason why still today he is often imitated, but never duplicated."

Over the next few days the NWE will inform fans of the preparations for one of the biggest and most important wrestling events ever to be held in Europe. As the news progresses it is sure to be the headlines of wrestling news and forums throughout the internet and will most certainly have all in the wrestling industry and fans alike in great anticipation to see what the Warrior will deliver on June 25th, and perhaps beyond.

Randy Orton had another incident on the recent European tour. Orton was upset that the hotel staff woke him up earlier than he scheduled so he put his clothes on, took his food from room service, went down the hall and threw the food on the staff. Orton reportedly laughed after the incident and went back to his room.

When the Raw crew landed in Portugal, there was an incident where a fan grabbed Maria. This apparently scared her a lot. She was about to make a formal complaint when Umaga overheard the story and demanded to know who did it. Umaga never found the guy, but Maria was still shaken up over the incident.

Bobby Lashley got such an easy release along with the ability to go to TNA if he wishes in May idue to issues with Hayes and racism. In their words Hayes comes from the Southern school of pro wrestling, which is a very different world than the politically correct world of 2008. Some upper echelon people in WWE have just accepted Hayes and his lingo plus way of speaking as is. Others have wondered for a long time how the man can work for a publicly traded company and have such language be considered acceptable. Because Hayes was a worker that got over by speaking "jive" back in the day talk he feels he has the ability to relate with African-Americans whereas the feeling (particularly considering he used to drape himself in a confederate flag) isn't necessarily mutual.

The situation from 'Mania weekend started with Hayes talking to MVP and joking around because they are close behind the scenes. MVP was discussing how cool Hayes was in his day and jokingly said to him "You're more of a {n word} than I am." Later when Hayes was talking to Mark Henry he was trying to get him to open up his character and be more outgoing, and APPARENTLY thought saying "I am more of a {n word} than you are" would drive the point home. There were many public witnesses to the conversation. Later in the evening Hayes gave Henry a playful head butt (a Freebirds trademark dating back nearly 30-years) and Henry told him to never do it again.

Some people in the company supposely feel that Mark Henry made too big a deal about it, and friends and supporters of Hayes now have heat with Henry as a result. Despite the perception that Hayes was untouchable Vince McMahon suspended Hayes himself. Until Hayes returns, Ed Korskey and Christopher DeJosephs (who plays Big **** Johnson) will take over as the writers for Smackdown and ECW. DeJosephs had been writing for ECW since Dave Lagana was fired and Dusty Rhodes left for FCW.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstar Balls Mahoney. WWE wishes Mahoney the best in all his future endeavors. World Wrestling Entertainment also announced today that British veteran Dave Taylor, last seen teaming with Drew McIntyre briefly on Smackdown, has been released from the company. Taylor had also assisted at times in various forms for the WWE developmental system.

One of the reasons Great Khali is taking time off from WWE is due to a needed knee surgery. An Indian film crew was following Khali around last night in Baltimore before, during and after the Backlash PPV. In a funny story, fans were being interviewed at the WWE's hotel after the PPV by the crew and every single fan talked about how great and awesome Khali was.

Ken Kennedy returns to WWE tonight for the first time since Wrestlemania XXIV as he was down in Puerto Rico filming the direct-to-DVD feature film "Behind Enemy Lines 3."

The Warrior has launched a new Myspace page in which he shoots down rumors that there was more than one person who played the Ultimate Warrior character. He says he has not self-destructed despite reports to the contrary. "To find those who truly have self-destructed, keep your eye on the obituaries and visit the gravesides of other WWF/WWE talent who've died of various forms of self-indulgence, beginning with their refusal to mature as real men and grow up and act their age."

Bret Hart visited WWE developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling earlier today to speak with the promotion’s wrestlers and provide feedback to matches specially designed for him by FCW talent. Hart is currently in the midst of a visit to The Sunshine State.

TNA X Division Champion Petey Williams is expected to miss at least six weeks of action due to a broken orbital bone.
Williams suffered the injury during a match against Jimmy Rave at Tuesday’s Impact television tapings.

WWE superstar Santino Marella was arrested just before 3a.m. morning in Tampa for allegedly driving under the influence. He is being held on $500 bond. Since wrestlers, especially those in the WWE, are such public figures now, it will be interesting to see how much publicity this gets and if he will be punished..........

Well, it didn't take long for the gossip sites to pick up on Santino being arrested this morning. TMZ.com has the story and states that "was pulled over after cops witnessed his car drifting back and forth -- he had 'bloodshot, watery and glassy eyes.'". The story goes on to say that Santino, real name Anthony Carelli, failed two field sobriety tests "including one in which he couldn't hold his balance. He told officers he started drinking at midnight, and had three Miller Lights and one Kamikaze." While he tested under the legal limit in the state, he took the test about two hours following his arrest.

The latest issue of Rolling Stone alleges that WWE Diva Ashley Massaro worked for Los Angeles escort service Bella Models, which is run by Michelle Braun (a/k/a Nici). The story notes that it's not just Braun making the claim. Rather, the story notes that the FBI tracked emails in which Bella Models made travel arrangements for Massaro and other clients. It also states:

"All I do is make the introductions between famous girls and rich guys who want to meet them," Braun told Rolling Stone. "I think the rates I charge are justified just to meet these women, even if nothing happens."

FBI papers omit the names of the men who allegedly paid for the services, yet list the names of Massaro, other Playboy models, a Maxim model, and adult film stars. Some of the emails discuss whether the women allow "fetish" or "GFE" (girlfriend experience). The Rolling Stone story features a photo of Massaro and lists her as a "professional wrestler—WWE" on page 52 of the May 15 issue.

Braun does confess that actor Charlie Sheen answered one of her early ads. That's hardly a shocking revelation given Sheen's track record. Braun claimed she dropped off four escorts at Sheen's home and found the actor waiting in silk pajamas with "C. MaSheen" embroidered on the front.

that the Punjab Police Department in Jalandhar, India wish to speak with Dalip “The Great Khali” Singh Rana regarding the wrestler’s alleged two-year sick leave from the force.
Rana - who is technically still employed by the Punjab Armed Police in Jalhandar - has continued to receive his monthly salary while wrestling in the U.S. A department representative stated that Rana’s future with the force is in his hands and offered no committal regarding possible punishment for their now-famous countryman.Rana plans to remain in India during an upcoming leave of absence with WWE.

Last week, It was reported that Jonathan Coachman was in the midst of the interview process for an on-air position with ESPN and that WWE put Mick Foley into his Smackdown color commentary role as they wanted someone who would be able to put the company first and foremost on their list of responsibilities.

Coachman, who sources indicate has been quietly discussing leaving WWE for some time, had been doing additional broadcast work for both the MSG Network and CBS' College sports broadcasts of late. It was confirmed Coachman has been hired by ESPN as an anchor. There's no word on when Coachman will debut for the cable sports network, but internally, WWE sources believe Coachman will be finishing up shortly, if he isn't done already with the company.

Coachman had been with WWE since December 1999, working as an announcer and on-air heel persona. Prior to his work with WWF/E, Coachman was a sports writer and sports anchor in his native Kansas.

Warrior has training sessions scheduled in California this week, in an effort to get in shape for his return to the ring. It was thought that he would be visiting Rick Bassman's UPW, but that is not the case. Instead Warrior is going to Cali to train with former ECW and WWE star Rob Van Dam. A pothead and a right-wing Republican training together - bet you never thought you'd see the day.

Kurt Angle will be hosting a new reality series for SpikeTV called "Caught in the Action" which will feature hidden camera footage

Superstar Billy Graham was hospitalized in New York City a few days ago after he slipped in a hotel bathroom.

Rana - who is technically still employed by the Punjab Armed Police in Jalhandar - has continued to receive his monthly salary while wrestling in the U.S. A department representative stated that Rana’s future with the force is in his hands and offered no committal regarding possible punishment for their now-famous countryman.Rana plans to remain in India during an upcoming leave of absence with WWE.

superboy Sports/Starlets Mod Join Date: Dec 2003 Location: Philly Posts: 11,662	Last week, It was reported that Jonathan Coachman was in the midst of the interview process for an on-air position with ESPN and that WWE put Mick Foley into his Smackdown color commentary role as they wanted someone who would be able to put the company first and foremost on their list of responsibilities. Coachman, who sources indicate has been quietly discussing leaving WWE for some time, had been doing additional broadcast work for both the MSG Network and CBS' College sports broadcasts of late. It was confirmed Coachman has been hired by ESPN as an anchor. There's no word on when Coachman will debut for the cable sports network, but internally, WWE sources believe Coachman will be finishing up shortly, if he isn't done already with the company. Coachman had been with WWE since December 1999, working as an announcer and on-air heel persona. Prior to his work with WWF/E, Coachman was a sports writer and sports anchor in his native Kansas.

It was thought that he would be visiting Rick Bassman's UPW, but that is not the case. Instead Warrior is going to Cali to train with former ECW and WWE star Rob Van Dam. A pothead and a right-wing Republican training together - bet you never thought you'd see the day. Kurt Angle will be hosting a new reality series for SpikeTV called "Caught in the Action" which will feature hidden camera footage Superstar Billy Graham was hospitalized in New York City a few days ago after he slipped in a hotel bathroom.
