As always don't scroll down if you don't want to know!

MARCH 21, 2008

Pre-Show Notes:

I am told that there is a briefcase on a cable hanging above the ring.

Dark Match:

Vladamir Kozlov b. Jamie Noble with some type of inverted clothesline maneuver.

WWE SmackDown: (Air date 3/20)
Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi

Batista comes out to a huge pop from the crowd to open the show.

(1) Batista b. Deuce & Domino in a total squash match. Batista hit a Batista Bomb on Domino to get the win.

A backstage segment airs with Cherry talking trash. ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero vs. Undertaker is announced for later tonight.

Teddy Long announced that tonight's Diva competition between Cherry, Eve, Michelle McCool and Victoria will be an arm wrestling match. The arm wrestling table was setup in the ring. Victoria beat Eve, Michelle McCool beat Cherry. Michelle McCool beat Victoria. Victoria is the diva eliminated by the fans. Victoria attacks Michelle but she is able to counter and Victoria gets knocked to the outside.

(2) Big Show b. Andy Douglas, Chase Stevens, & an unknown wrestler in a total squash match. Big Show nailed a right hand on Chase Stevens to get the victory.

(3) World Heavyweight Champion Edge b. Funaki in a squash match. Edge mocked Undertaker by picking up Funaki and hitting a Tombstone.

The briefcase above the ring on the cable was for MVP's VIP Lounge which is up next. Chris Jericho is announced as the guest. The segment features a lot of verbal sparring. Jericho plays with MVP's name calling him a zit, loser, and a jackass. MVP ends up climbing the ladder and Jericho pushes him off.

(4) Kane vs. Chuck Palumbo ends in no contest. The Great Khali comes out and gives Kane a hard chop and then a tree slam to both. Mark Henry comes out and takes out Khali. He hits a splash on Palumbo and the World's Strongest Slam on Kane. Big Daddy V was not featured in the segment.

(5) WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison b. Jesse & Festus to retain. Jesse takes a pretty big beating before Festus gets the tag and cleans house. Festus ends up getting thrown out of the ring. The Miz scored the pinfall on Jesse after he hit the Reality Check.

(6) The Undertaker b. ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero in a non-title match via submission. Undertaker dominated throughout until he ended up choking Chavo out. After the match, Edge hits the ring along with Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Undertaker attempts a chokeslam on one of the Edgeheads but Edge hits the Spear. All three beat Undertaker up in the ring with chairs.

The following will probably not be shown on television:

Batista comes out to make the save. Undertaker and Batista re-gain control as Undertaker gives Edge a Tombstone.

Arrow 3/26/08 Smackdown!

Don't scroll down if you don't want to know.........

Dark Match

* Ron Killings defeated Kenny Dykstra.

Smackdown

* Mark Henry defeated Great Khali, Kane and Chuck Palumbo in an ECW Battle Royal preview. Henry lifted Khali for a slam again, and dumped him to win the match. Chavo Guerrero runs in and attacks Henry, but Henry beats him down.

* Eve was eliminated from the Diva competition. The other eliminated Divas show up and complain, setting up a contest later.

* CM Punk defeated John Morrison with the GTS.

* Jesse, Festus & Kofi Kingston defeated Lance Cade, Trevor Murdoch & The Miz.

* Batista defeated Snitsky in under a minute.

* Michelle McCool & Cherry defeated Victoria & Maryse, with Eve as the ref, in a water balloon match. Water guns and other beach items were in the ring as well.

* Chris Jericho defeated MVP via DQ when MVP tried to use the U.S. Title as a weapon.

* Edge did a "funeral" for Undertaker's streak. Undertaker comes out of the coffin (I know, shocking) and runs off Edge to end the show.

Dark Match

* Ric Flair, Undertaker & Batista defeated Edge, MVP & Big Show. Flair made MVP submit to the figure four for the win. Batista got on the mic and put Flair over, then Flair spoke to the crowd, thanking them for their support. Undertaker even showed emotion (didn't talk though), giving Flair a hug/pat on the back.

Cool 3/28/08

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho’s first match on SmackDown since returning to WWE saw Y2J face United States Champion MVP in a non-title Champion vs. Champion encounter.

Both Superstars will participate in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match Sunday at WrestleMania XXIV, and in their final match before the Citrus Bowl, Jericho picked up a disqualification victory. The Ballin’ Superstar wasn’t finished, however, and he tried to make one last statement before the career changing Ladder Match. He attacked with his gold in hand, but Y2J ducked and delivered a Codebreaker to the cocky U.S. Champion.

Jericho then made his own bold move, smashing MVP in the face with a ladder. The tension between these two champions is at the boiling point, and Sunday in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, Y2J and MVP will undoubtedly look to further their career at the expense of the other. Will either competitor be successful, or will someone else step in and take the opportunity of a lifetime?

Monstrous challenge
On SmackDown, four Superstars who will take part in the 24-Man Battle Royal at WrestleMania competed in an Over-the-Top-Rope Challenge. Kane, The Great Khali, Mark Henry and Chuck Palumbo all were in Fayetteville to improve their stock for WrestleMania, with ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero looking on from ringside. The World’s Strongest Man displayed the intensity and strength that has always made him one of WWE’s most feared competitors, eliminating Khali and Kane to win the challenge.

The “Mexican Warrior” then attempted to weaken Henry with a post match assault, but the World’s Strongest Man demolished the ECW Champion with a World’s Strongest Slam. With the Battle Royal to name a new No. 1 Contender to the ECW title just 48 hours away, Chavo Guerrero may have seen his grip on the gold loosen ever so slightly.

Untamed fury
Just two days before he represents SmackDown in the war for brand supremacy against Raw’s Umaga, Batista faced the challenge of another Raw Superstar – Snitsky. The Animal wasted no time decimating Raw General Manager William Regal’s hand-picked challenger with ease. When the bell rang, Batista speared Snitsky, delivered a spinebuster and then sealed the impressive victory with a Batista Bomb. If his match with Snitsky is any indication, The Animal is focused and more intense than ever heading into his match with the Samoan Bulldozer.

Loose Change
Both John Morrison and CM Punk are former ECW Champions, and this Sunday at WrestleMania they will have the chance to earn a World Title Match of their choosing when they participate in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. On SmackDown, the two faced off in a Money in the Bank Preview Match, with Punk gaining some momentum before The Granddaddy of Them All by making the WWE Tag Team Champion Go To Sleep.

Wet ‘n’ Wild
As the Diva Competition rolls on, Assistant General Manager Theodore Long announced that Eve was the latest Diva voted out of the running to win a custom Beverly Hills Chopper, leaving two finalists – Cherry and Michelle McCool. The final duo teamed up on SmackDown to take on Victoria & Maryse in a Wet ‘n’ Wild Water Fight Match, with eliminated Eve as the special referee. This match was exactly as advertised – wet ‘n’ wild, with McCool picking up the win for her and Cherry with the Wings of Love. Who will win the Diva Competition? Your votes count so be sure to text your favorite SmackDown Divas name to 44993!

Also on SmackDown
Rising Superstar Kofi Kingston, undefeated since debuting in ECW, joined forces with Jesse & Festus on Friday night to take on the trio of former World Tag Team Champions Cade & Murdoch and current WWE Tag Team Champion The Miz. All six Superstars will take part in the 24-Man Battle Royal at WrestleMania, but this night belonged to the Superstar from Jamaica, who picked up the win when he pinned Miz. Will one of these six young studs step up and outlast 23 other Superstars at WrestleMania XXIV and earn a title match against Chavo Guerrero?

You raise me up
As World Heavyweight Champion Edge showed last week with his vicious Con-Chair-To, he is out to destroy Undertaker’s legacy at WrestleMania. On SmackDown, the Rated-R Superstar was joined by his fiancée, General Manager Vickie Guerrero, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder for a Burial of Undertaker’s WrestleMania Undefeated Streak. The ceremony was cut short when Edge’s WrestleMania opponent appeared and tried to send one last message before their showdown on Sunday.
WRESTLEMANIA IS NEXTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!

Edge and Chavo start the show. They are upset that they lost their titles at WrestleMania, and feel bad that they have let their fans and Vicky down. They are both getting title rematches at Backlash. Also tonight, Vicky has signed Kane vs. Taker.

* Non-Title Match: Matt Hardy defeated MVP {C}in a 15 minute match "They picked up right where they left off."

* Festus squashed Edge Guy Zach Ryder. "Festus destroyed him."

* HBK is out to the ring. Batista comes out to interrupt him. Batista is angry with HBK, and calls him egotistical. HBK tries to smooth it over, but Batista makes HBK feel guilty for beating Flair and says he should have laid down for Flair. Batista tosses down the mic and leaves. HBK gives his mic to the ring guy, is sad and leaves.

* Vladimir Kozlov defeated Matt Bentley in a very quick match.

* Non-Title Match: The Miz and John Morrison {C} defeated Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang.

* After the match Great Khali came out and beat down all four men. He grabbed the mic and started to talk about the Big Show, who then came to the ring. They stared down and Khali left like on Raw.

* Kane and The undertaker went to a double count out as they did the double big boot spot and couldn't answer the 10-count.

* The first 10+ Minutes was a "grappling bout," as they wrestled, hit no signature moves and just worked basic wrestling. After the double KO boot spot, they both did the sit up. Edge, Chavo and the Rated Rmy hit the ring and beat them down. Kane and Taker then did the double sit up again, chokeslam on Edge, one for Chavo and then double tombstones to close the show.

RUMOR....Nattie Neidhart, daughter of Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart, will debut this Friday on Smackdown. She wasn't involved in a match, so it will likely be in some sort of backstage segment. Neidhart had been working down in FCW and doing house show loops in order to get ready for the main ro

Lightbulb 4-11 SMACKDOWN

Don't scroll down if you don't want to know.

SmackDown Opener:

A bunch of dancers are out with The Great Khali to start Smackdown. His manager says Khali has a peace offering. The Big Show comes out. Khali gives the Big Show a bunch of Indian things including a goat. They shake hands then Show knocks him out with one blow.

Non-title: The Miz and John Morrison vs. Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang. Miz pinned Yang after an inverted ace crusher type move.

Vickie Guerrero and Edge were getting massages away from the venue with the night off.

Finlay and Hornswoggle vs. Matt Striker. Hornswoggle squirts Striker mid match. After more antics, Finlay wins via start shot.

Victoria with "Natalia" (Nattie Neidhart). They show an anvil highlight reel. Nat cuts a short promo. Michelle comes out, bell rings for a match with Victoria. Victoria wins after Nat throws something at Michelle to distract her.

HBK/Batista in ring segment. HBK says everyone has moved on except Batista. Batista says HBK stabbed people in the back. Michaels and Batista could get by on size, but he couldn't. So he did what he had to. Segment ends with Michaels faking sweet chin music and then a brief brawl.

Vladimir Kozlov defeated Matt Logan. This will never make TV, but Kozlov botched his introduction twice, first by heading out before they were filming and then walking backstage as the lights were on. Absolutely hysterical live.

MVP comes out to do commentary for Matt Hardy vs. Chuck Palumbo. Hardy wins via the twist of fate. Matt then yells at MVP, who leaves the ring area.

Interview with Jesse. He says he's never seen Festus like that before.

They did several vignettes with Edge and Vickie Guerrero to give the impression they were having sex.

Undertaker defeated Festus via gogoplata. Ref bump that led to nothing, new ref came down to call for the bell.

After SmackDown: Edgeheads and Chavo Guerrero beat down the Undertaker. Batista comes for the the save. Edge comes out. Then Kane. Massive brawling. Big Show out next. Faces beat down the heels.

I do get ECW Spoilers, does anybody want me to post em weekly?

Many people thought that when Smackdown moves from the CW to its new home on MyNetworkTV this fall, it would also move back to Thursday nights. But that won't be the case. The president of the network Greg Meidel tells TVWeek.com that Smackdown will remain on at the same time on Friday nights.
"What it brings for us is that it really fits us like a glove," Meidel said. "This is truly an opportunity for us to take a franchise that’s proven, that works, that attracts a large audience as the dominant force every Friday night, as it did prior to that on UPN."

By the way, that noise you hear is TNA Wrestling cheering since Smackdown won't be going head-to-head with Impact.

Breaking news coming out of the SmackDown/ECW tapings in London, England and . It's been announced that Mike Adamle will be the new announcer for the ECW brand and will be calling tonight's entire broadcast. Right now, rumors are swirling backstage that Joey Styles will be moved to another area within the company.

Many have to find this shocking due to Adamle's poor performance since joining the WWE back in January. Choosing Adamle over Joey Styles really dampers the brand, in my honest opinion, since Joey Styles has always been the voice of ECW. One has to hope this isn't the end for Joey Styles in the WWE. Why is Coach still announcing?

Cool

Dark Match:

* Jaime Noble over Ted Dibiase Jr.

Smackdown:

* At the start of the show Vickie Guerrero came out and talked more about Taker getting stripped of the title. She then gives Taker another shot at Judgment Day, and that tonight there will be a one night "Championship Chase" involving former Champions excluding Khali and Edge due to injury. Participants are John Morrison, Kane, CM Punk, Finlay, Chavo, Matt Hardy, Batista, Big Show, Tommy Dreamer and MVP. With the winners of each match going into a battle royal to decide Taker's challenger. The World Title is then put in a glass case right beside the entranceway.

* Matt Hardy over CM Punk with reversing a Punk roll up.

* MVP and Finlay battled to a no contest when both participants had their shoulders pinned on the mat at the same time. Also to note when MVP's pyro went off some of it went into the crowd, luckily nobody got hurt, but it was pretty close.

* Natayla over Kelly Kelly with a sharpshooter (which got a very good pop).

* In the locker room, Vickie Guerrero mentions that even thought MVP and Finlay battled to a no-contest, she likes to think positively and lets both participants into the main event.

* Batista over John Morrison with the Batista Bomb.

* Big Show over Tommy Dreamer in a squash.

* Kane over Chavo with a Thesz Press type pin. Kane was still selling the leg injury from ECW, and Chavo worked on it throughout the match.

* Kozlov over Phil Atlas (Atlas was billed from London, Ont. Somebody even tried to start an Alexander Ovechkin chant as well).

* Main event saw Batista win the battle royal by eliminating Big Show via head scissors over top rope. Vickie came out and said that even though Batista won the battle royal, the chase must continue since Edge has been "medically cleared" to wrestle. Edge quickly comes to the ring and eliminates Batista, who is still laying on the apron, with a spear. Edge then celebrates up the ramp when all of a sudden the glass case holding onto the World title is engulfed in flames, Undertaker's theme hits and Edge runs away to the back.

Nothing to note after the show, Batista went around the ring shaking hands with everyone and threw his arms pads into the crowd. Many people were expecting another dark match, but got nothing.

WWE Smackdown 5-16-08

Show opened with La Familia coming to the ring and discussing that Edge experienced a "medical miracle" last week when he was able to win the Championship Chase and nothing would stop him from winning the title at Judgment Day.

Teddy Long was out next and told Vickie that he was at Titan Towers all day in Stamford after she yelled at him for being late and not returning her calls. He went on to read a statement from the WWE Board of Directors that said Vickie would either need to wrestle in her 1st ever match tonight and be out as GM of Smackdown.

Vickie did more yelling and went on to fire Long for going behind her back. He told her she could not do that and quit. On the way back to the locker room, he told her that The Undertaker would be her opponent tonight.

1. CM Punk over Chuck Palumbo after GTS. Punk was one of the most over wrestlers at the show. Decent little match and surprised to see it end decisively after the GTS.

Vickie, Edge and Chavo tried to cope with what was before them, when MVP, Finlay and Big Show all expressed their gripes with being "used" in the Championship Chase and then making fun of her having to face Undertaker. She said she was still GM tonight and that Show and Finlay would team to face MVP and a partner of his choice.

2. Michelle McCool over Layla when Layla tapped out to an ankle/leg submission. Not bad, not great. McCool did some neat, while sloppy leg work.

3. Big Show and Finlay over MVP and Mark Henry when MVP was pinned by Show following a chokeslam. Good tag match with Finlay being worked over for the body of the match leading to the Show hot tag. Show dominated, but was caught with an Avalanche-type move from Henry that halted him momentarily. Finlay dispatched Henry and MVP charged Show in the corner, while he sold the effects of the Avalanche and was caught by the throat, chokeslammed and pinned.

Chavo told Vickie and Edge that there was a way they could make the match they were in tonight work and smiled.

4. Vladimir Kozlov over Funaki

Vickie informed the audience that the main event would now be a 6-on-1 Handicap Match with herself, Edge, Chavo, Bam Neely, Ryder and Hawkins facing The Undertaker.

5. Cherry over Maryse w/ Deuce & Domino

Kofi Kingston and Matt Hardy talked in back. Shelton Benjamin came in and set up a match between he and Hardy, with the idea that he was after the U.S. Title. Hardy made fun of the only gold Shelton having was his hair!

6. Matt Hardy over Shelton Benjamin after the Twist of Fate. Decent here, with Shelton looking real competitive, but Hardy hitting the Twist of Fate almost out of nowhere for the win.

7. The Undertaker fought Vickie Guerrero, Edge, Zach Ryder and Curt Hawkins to a No Decision.

La Familia all came out together, but as everyone walked (and Vickie was wheeled) to the ring, Chavo and Neely stopped short and returned to the back, making it a 4-on-1.

Vickie was in the ring in her wheelchair with Edge and the Edgeheads as her human shield. Taker went right at them and was occupied for the most part by Ryder and Hawkins. Each time he looked to have the advantage, Edge would make it 3-on-1 and neutralize him again.

Finally, Undertaker reversed the momentum of the Edgeheads on an irish whip attempt and sent them outside the ring. He then gave a big boot to Edge and he was out. He turned his attention to Vickie and went to deliver a chokeslam. As he hoisted and held her by the throat, he turned and was met with an Edge spear. Vickie was saved and everyone retreated up the ramp. The referee jumped out of the ring and Taker did the throat slash to seemingly end the taping.

Taker then got down with his back to his foes and they returned to get an advantage again, with Vickie at the top of the ramp. Kane's music hit and he wheeled her to the ring. He and Taker took out their foes and Taker was eventually able to Tombstone Vickie to a huge response.

Taker left the ring while
