Thoughts on 1/28 Raw

MICKIE JAMES & ASHLEY vs. BETH PHOENIX & JILLIAN HALL Ok little match. Glad Ashley didnt perform.

CARLITO vs. CODY RHODES They need to give Cody some sort of personality.

DX vs. UMAGA & SNITSKY Good tv match but when will DX die?

MR. KENNEDY vs. BRIAN KENDRICK Why is Kendrick jobbing so much?

MARIA vs. MELINA At least Maria can wrestle compared to Ashley.

JEFF HARDY & CHRIS JERICHO vs. RANDY ORTON & JBL Missed half of it, was on the phone.

Overall I wasnt bored of Raw but wasnt overly entertained either. At least Hornswaggle was barely on tv.

Raw was ok, not great but not bad either. The main event match was pretty good but once again Cena is the top dog at the end of the night

I have this horrible feeling that Cena has rushed back only for Triple H to get his win back at Wrestlemania. I'm not a big fan of the Cena/Orton pairing as a Wrestlemania main event but at least that has a good story going into it, if it's getting pushed aside because of politics, that's really BS.

In a press release issued today to stockholders, NBC Universal announced that they will begin to add shows from their cable channels to their schedule. Shows mentioned in the release included Top Chef from Bravo, Monk from USA, Psyche from USA, and WWE RAW from USA. While I do not have a copy of the press release, NBC has been considering WWE programming since the beginning of the writer’s strike.

The only problem with a Cena heel turn is that we've seen him as the top face for so long. We've seen him beat everyone with no fear and it would be odd to see him start running away from people and cheating to win like heels do.

wasn't cena a heel at first? during his rapper gimmick days. at the time he was on smackdown wasn't he? i didn't see smackdown then cuz the local cable company didn't carry that network, so i don't quite remember. he did fine fine as a heel. the only problem is that heels tend to get more attention, and i really don't want to cena whatsoever. i know others do, but i don't

Being a heel is what got Cena so popular in the first place. If he were to turn, he couldn't be the cowardly heel, since he does beat pretty much everyone. He'd have to be a strong heel that feels entitled to getting whatever he wants, and will hurt people to do it.

I think his turn should start with a losing streak, which would both help other superstars and soften his "Superman" image.
