It looked at first glance to be a illegal forward lateral! I guess it was an underhanded pass. it's looking like Brett Favre V Tom Brady for the BIG PRIZE... That would make it a super Super Bowl. Such classic fb yesterday, with the snow coming down in Green Bay. I'd love to go to a game in those conditions. Move north! ![]() I love snowy football games. A Super Bowl played outdoor in Green Bay would be a classic. |

Indy gets knocked out by a SD team without Rivers and LDT for most of the seconf half. Peyton didn't have his best game(altho 400 yds and 3 TD's is good for anyone). He played his ass off, and should have had a perfect passer rating, if not for stupid dropped passed that turned into interceptions. He drove up and down the field all god damn day. Just sad. The defense layed an egg. Absolutely unacceptable letting Billy Volek and Michael Turner burn them in the 2nd half. As for the Chargers chances against New England..... HA! They're going to get their ass handed to them in the worst way. Tomlinson showed he's a softy today. Walking around just fine on the sidelines, but wouldn't play in the second half. Bob Sanders was hurt, still played. So did Harrison, and Gates. But Tomlinson sits on the sidelines. Last edited by Captain Beefheart : 01-13-2008 at 06:37 PM. |

They couldn't even stop SD back up players, Manning was the only player that did anything, it was a sloppy game for the Colts and you might as well say who are the Pats going to play in the Super Bowl. |

I predict that Tony Romo's relationship with Jessica Simpson will collapse under the weight of a million sports pundits blaming it for the team's ultimate downfall. I also can't wait until the story of this year goes from the Patriots legendary season to Brett Favre's legendary season. Favre vs. Brady is like Rocky vs. Drago. I envision Favre walking around with tree stumps on his back while Brady is injected with the super soldier serum by a secret government agent that looks exactly like Nick Fury. There is something spooky about your organization, fellas... I'm sorry to tell you. I think they may be the literal outer head of the Illuminati itself. ![]() Last edited by Captain Beefheart : 01-13-2008 at 10:37 PM. |

Ha HA Beefy, You nailed it - someone play Eye of the Tiger and go pop some popcorn. Favre rules, he's just having a blast, throwing snowballs at his teamates, lol. True Dat, there is NO WAY the people of Texas will allow the Yoko Romo pairing to continue, even if she has nothing to do with his poor play, they will be slammed by the pundits until they hit splitsville. Elway, Young, and Marino all better QBs than him in his early years, were in their twilight or altogether retired. He did have some bad seasons while he was hooked on vicodin (or booze, depending on who you listen to)? But I do love watching him play, probably my favorite quarterback apart from Steve Young, because when he releases the ball it comes out like a angry swarm of nano-bees. That quickly form into a larger cloud, oh no now they're out of control! They're everywhere, now they've enveloped Brett and ripped off all his flesh! He's just one giant robot smile! If the Packers and the Patriots in the Superbowl I already know the angle the media is going to take beforehand(The Patriots are the eastcoast team, not really representative of "America" and really if you ask 70% of football fans they'd rather see the Packers win). The Packers represent the working poor, blue collar workers, the disenfranchised folk who are mangled in life by the system that they are such a crucial part of. The Patriots, well they represent the elite. Brady vs. Favre. Good vs Evil! ![]() Last edited by Captain Beefheart : 01-14-2008 at 08:27 PM. |

How come I haven't received that memo from my senile relatives with that personalized message at the top something like, "I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE TO GET THE WORD OUT!!!! Favre looks so dreamy for being 38. Yes Brady has all the rings, and the models, but i'm going with the scrambling and crazy plays over the cool, calm and colected Tom. Mind you I do agree there's a genius to his style. He's like a sociologists wet dream. Who is this ******* capable of being the leader of a bunch of juiced up rednecks while still wearing an ascot-cabbie hat apparel combo? Is he the proof of the idea that when you stop worrying about what a giant douchebag you are, the world will crumble at your feet? I watched an interview with him once where he broke down his thought process on a goal line touchdown pass to his fourth option. He went through each option, without looking at a reply (just off memory), and explained exactly why he didn't think it was wise to throw it there because of the coverage intricacies, ending with the TD pass. Mind you, this took like under three seconds of actual playing time. In full speed you just see his head swivel on an axis like 1,2,3,TD. PS: The Redsox have already won the world series, the Celtics have the best record in the NBA, and the Patriots are undefeated and playing a gimme at home before the Superbowl. It's too much for me. Not hating, just saying. ![]() Last edited by Captain Beefheart : 01-14-2008 at 09:16 PM. |

Brady is hot, I'll admit, but he looks too serious for me and it wasn't cool at all that he dumped his model actress chic while she was preggers. tsk tsk. That little bit of gray in Farve's facial hair is Killing me, and he looks like a fun guy. You know me, I always sell out to the funny. Last edited by Ophelia : 01-14-2008 at 09:23 PM. |

The patriots system is so pimptight it boggles the mind. You could put a monkey in there at QB and he would win at least three games. I am saying that with their system and the players/coach surrounding this hypothetical monkey QB... the patriots would go 3-13. It would be a losing year, but it would be unforgettable. ![]() |
