SANTINO MARELLA vs. ROB VAN DAM Squash but I actually yelled out "Yeah" when RVD's music hit, god damn I miss him on tv. EVOLUTION vs. RANDY ORTON & EDGE & UMAGA Another not so great match, it served its purpose for vintage reasons. HORNSWOGGLE vs. GREAT KHALI Nothing really to note here. Hogan came here, really shocked he got such a loud reaction. I was hoping for big show. 15-MAN BATTLE ROYALE Fun gimmick match, I enjoyed seeing everyone. Who the hell is Skinner though?? TREVOR MURDOCH & LANCE CADE vs. CODY RHODES & HARDCORE HOLLY Shocked that there was a title change here and the match itself was forgettable. MR. KENNEDY vs. MARTY JANNETTY Nothing amazing but Marty looked good and performed well. I was a fan of his back in the day. Enough of the bland match talk. Raw as a whole was really something amazing tonight. I can honestly say this is one of the best raws I can remember in a long time. It was so great seeing many old stars that I grew up to as well as got me back into wrestling in 1995. Sunny looked simply amazing. Ive seen many pics of her in the past good and bad but it was good to see her on tv again. I loved seeing Trish again, she still is the best diva wwe ever had and probably ever will. I loved seeing Lita as well. Surprised to see Molly Holly appear, though she wasnt on long. Million Dollar Man was great as always. Honestly I cant stress how good it was, if wwe put this much effort in their shows each week maybe I wouldnt be so into TNA. Only bad I can say is that it sucked not seeing The Rock, Stacy Keibler or Bret Hart appear in the flesh:( |

| The Wicked One ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I got to see Trish so that made it great! Nice to see RVD but I bet it was a one night only deal but then again he could be the "big return" rumor we were hearing about. Hogan was lame as always as was Austin. I like STCA but if he's gonna show up he needs to do something interesting. The ladder match was pretty good for a tv one. |

| Member ![]() | Jeff vs. Carlito- Not bad. A couple nice spots and it showed that Carlito deserves a shot and shouldnt be let go. Santino vs. RVD- Does this mean RVD is back? He should head to ECW like tomorrow! Evolution vs. Rated RKO and Umaga- Umaga jobs AGAIN! Hornswoggle vs. Khali- You knew Hogan was coming out here. He can always get the crowd going. Battle Royal- In all honesty, I missed alot of this one. Skinner was a wrestler back in the day. He now works for SMACKDOWN and Florida Championship Wrestling. Tag Team Title Match- Yeah, surprised by the title change. Let the bury of Tag title continue. Remember when tag matches where the reason to buy a show? Kenneddy vs. Jannetty- Good match. Jannetty should have been a bigger star, but his life and business politics never let that happen. Other Thoughts: Sunny looked amazing. She was the one I marked out for the most. It was great seeing Lita and Trish. They should still be in the ring, they could still have great matches. Where was Linda McMahon? Steph and HHH's jokes where great as always. "See you at home. I mean, your brother is a knome." I would have liked to see Bret Hart, The Rock, Stacy. In all honesty, I would have liked to have seen many guys that are now in TNA- Dudleys, Angle, Booker, Christian, Nash, Hall. But it was nice of the WWE to show them in highlight reels. It could mean that they DO have SOME respect or they just dont see TNA as a threat, yet. GREAT SHOW! |

| Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thats why Carlito renewed with the wwe. Not much details is known but last monday they struck a new contract deal. Dirt sheets said vince was sweating Carlito jumping to TNA quickly just like Booker did. As for RVD, I dont see him returning full time. Still surprised there was no Big Show |

I was a fan of Steve back in the day, he just always seem to be a jobber. Another guy I am surprised didnt show up was Ken Shamrock. |

| The Wicked One ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Did anyone see CM Punk drinking a beer at the end? I was too busy trying to spot Trish so I didn't pay attention. People are already online talking about it like it's a big deal if he had a beer. Also it was funny when Kane went up to Lita and said "So, you seen any good movies lately?" lol It was out of character. Last edited by SMG Rules : 12-11-2007 at 02:20 AM. |

| Member of Sylar's Army ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | it was great to see some of them older superstars. whether they were popular or not. the repo man always made me laugh way back then. it would have been weird if they had kane come out as dr. isacc yankem and later as kane. and doink. it was cool they got the original guy who played doink. skinner is an old wrestler. i barely remembered him as well as that baseball player that looked like he came out of the old "warriors" movie. i can't remember his name. i was never into sunny and thought she was so so, but tonight when she came out i didn't even recognize her. but i will say she looked great. i was shocked when RVD came out. i didn't expect that one. how did they manage to keep that a secret. molly holly looked hot as always. she was a fave of mine. it was great to see stephanie again. didn't really care for hogan showing up. the matches were bad as usual. that ladder match was so short and like already mentioned, forgettable. guess they had to make it a short match just to fit in all the "entertainment" part of the show. but in the end it was great to see some blasts from the past. | Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For 3 hours, you'd think they'd have more than maybe 20 minutes of interesting material. But nope, you just get an extra heaping of Triple H, McMahon, and HBK. Jesus. How many times do they have to bury Orton and Umaga? Sunny looked great. I was shocked when RVD showed up. Nice to see Molly, too. Jericho is meant to be a heel. Watch his old stuff in WCW on Youtube. He can't be the "I'm gonna kick your ass" kind of guy. He's better as the delusional, obnoxious whiner. Jillian is teh awesome. She made that segment. I did like how they kept Trish and Lita as enemies until the end. Hogan must really need money. He was whoring himself out something fierce. Hell, even Stone Cold, who never sucks up to the fans, prostrated himself. Though I did love that Hogan is the first guy to think of actually blocking Khali's Brain Chop of Doom. All the matches sucked, though the Battle Royal was entertaining just for nostalgia's sake. Ted Dibiase needs to teach the younger guys how to work the mic. Too bad they didn't get Jake Roberts. All in all...bad show. The good parts were some of the old clips, and the intro, which was totally awesome and should be used from now on. |

| Member of Sylar's Army ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i gotta say that i also enjoyed the intro to the show. brought back memories. all those intros placed right after the other was just amazing. i loved it. stuff What You Didn't See On WWE RAW's 15th Anniversary The crowd tonight was read hot from beginning to end, Only dying down during the Kennedy vs Jannetty match which few seemed to care about. Seeing all the legends back was just fantastic, even if guys like Bart Gunn and The Goon went over most peoples heads. Some of the guys more familliar from the attitude era like Blackman and Gillberg got big pops however. Hogan's reaction wasn't quite as big as I expected. I'm not sure how it came out on TV, but it wasn't nearly big as the pop Triple H got during the three times he came out. The dark match had DH Smith defeating Steve Corino After the show, the Beer Bash continued for about another 5 minutes, with just about everyone drinking a beer, except for Backlund who just had a bottle of water. Not sure if Godfathers women were legitimate prostitutes or just models, but they starting flashing their assets to th crowd after the show, a very classy thing to do in front of children. Mae Young got a very respectful reaction from the crowd as well Biggest Pops: Triple H Hogan Michaels Biggest Heat: Vince Kennedy Orton more behind the anniversary stuff During the family portrait skit Triple H got a huge pop and he even said “Im waiting for this pop to die down.” When Mae Young came out Triple H was very protective of her and made sure she got in and out of the ring alright. He even walked her up the ramp during the commercial break and made her turn around and wave to the crowd as he pointed at her for a nice pop . The godfather got a nice pop also and his hoes’ were very crazy. Maria came out for the kiss cam as usual and there was a male couple caught kissing which followed a bunch of “ BOO’s.” Trish got a way bigger pop than Lita. And trish looked to be in amazing shape and was skinny as a rail. She looked good though. The Beer Bash - I know only a portion was shown on t.v. but off of tv it went until 11:22. It was cool to see the guys all together seeing how they interact. Snitsky faked a big boot to Punk as they joked about it. Also it was funny to see “straight edge” CM Punk drinking beer like a champ on the top turnbuckle. Now onto the fun of it all ... The Hoe’s. The hoes were all over Orton and Orton was just pounding the beers down and pouring them all over the hoes, one of which was Nattie Neidhart who actually pulled Orton’s trunks down revealing his rear to the crowd. Let me also say Nattie was a wild one and was actually at one point taking the WWE title from Orton and licking it. Another one of the hoes decided to flash and moon the crowd. I can go on and on but it made me wonder what a real party would be like with all of the guys . Khali got hit in the head with a beer and didn’t really seem to care . Khali was also busting his moves on the hoe that flashed the crowd . Mark Henry pulled out a sign that said “Owen Hart for WWE HOF 2008” and the crowd cheered . Triple H stayed behind and was the last to leave the ring. --WWE has signed Ric Flair’s youngest son Reid Fliehr, 19 to a developmental contract. He will be reporting to Florida Championship Wrestling next month. |

| The Wicked One ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Take with a grain of salt. TNA is in negotiations with MMA star Bob Sapp, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. TNA has offered him an initial four-month deal, in which Sapp would be paid $2,500 per match. TNA wants Sapp to work a program with Kurt Angle, and then later with Samoa Joe. Sapp is paid about $35,000 per match for Hustle (he is under contract with Hustle for one year), and has received a seven figure offer from WWE. It appears WWE has been in talks with Sapp once again. Apparently, WWE and Sapp had serious talks a few months ago. There was talk that WWE would promote Sapp as a combined MMA/pro wrestling star. Gee I wonder which one he will choose? LOL The Dudley boys both would like to return to the WWE Rick Flair is persistent in his desire to work one more time with Sting. WWE seems more willing now than in the past to entertain the idea of Sting working a lighter schedule. It is however believed that if Sting does come to WWE it's likely that it will require build up and some form of longevity after the match as WWE doesn't have a desire to have Sting come in for one match and then go away. Chances are slim but Sting hasn't singed a new deal with TNA and a move to WWE could happen. Last edited by SMG Rules : 12-16-2007 at 01:34 AM. |

| Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I read these news bits earlier. I know nothing about Sapp or really care. Knowing wwe they will make him another Brock Lesner *shudders*. Sting I doubt will ever come to wwe. He has said he doesnt like the product as far as it's crude humor and such. Remember he is very religious. Dudley's can goto hell. |
