| Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | SANTINO MARELLA vs. JERRY LAWLER Not the best match. I still dont enjoy Santino the character like others. JEFF HARDY vs. UMAGA Decent match. Didnt like all the rest holds but thats the usual wwe. I am liking the HHH/Hardy team. Hardy can use a rub from HHH. HARDCORE HOLLY vs. CODY RHODES Meh MELINA & JILLIAN HALL vs. MICKIE JAMES & MARIA Damn Jillian is annoying but I enjoyed the extra Lilian screen time. Match itself was filler ![]() CARLITO vs. HORNSWOGGLE Wow Carlito loses to Hornswaggle. Cant get buried more then that ![]() Overall raw wasnt too bad this week. Ive seen better/seen worse. The return of Jericho definitely made it worth watching. I hope he can make the wwe product better. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Santino Marella vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler The match itself wasn't so great, but Santino was absolutely hilarious once again. "Look at me, I'm Jerry Lawler! I like puppies! I make fun of women because I have low self-esteem!" Classic. Santino needs to start winning matches, though. Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga Could have been the match of the night. The crowd was HOT for them, but then they ruined it with the Snitsky run-in and the eventual "Triple H is better than everyone and can't let anyone else in the spotlight for a second" save. Hardcore Holly vs. Cody Rhodes Holly and Cody need to take notes from Matt Hardy and MVP and learn how to do the "rival partners" thing. Mickie James & Maria vs. Melina & Jillian Hall Decent match, the ladies looked great. Jillian was great and Jon Secada was drunk or retarded. She also looked like she legit hurt Melina with her 450. Melina was funny when she mocked Mickie's entrance, too. Carlito vs. Hornswoggle Just release Carlito now. I love Finlay. He's great. The Return of Chris Jericho Very well done, except I didn't like them showing Jericho kill the runner. Kind of anti-climactic. Other than that, it was great. The actual entrance was freaking awesome. Jericho did a great job and pretty much made the show. I thought the crowd was a little dead, but they hung on his every word and never sat down once he showed up. Overall a decent show made good by Jericho. Can't wait to see him in the ring. I hear he has a new finisher. |

| Member of Sylar's Army ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i enjoyed raw tonight. it was ok. but i would have to agree that they should have had Y2J show up at the end. when he appeared and attacked the runner i was let down a little cuz i was hoping he would arrive with a huge bang. it didn't have the punch it could have had, but it was still great seeing him back. hope he brings something back to the wwe. stuff Today would have been Elizabeth Ann Hulette's (Miss Elizabeth) 47th birthday. Hulette passed away on May 1, 2003. The reason as to why WWE didn’t push the 10th anniversary of the Montreal screw job is that the company feels that Bret Hart is on their team because he did the Hall of Fame Ceremony. The two are also in talks of helping Bret Hart promote his new autobiography when it releases in the United States. Vince McMahon has also talked with Hart about doing a follow up DVD release. As reported last night, it is rumored that WWE RAW superstar Carlito gave his notice to management last week. Nothing has been confirmed by World Wrestling Entertainment, but many of Carlito's colleagues believe this to be the case. In the past the RAW superstar has worked with TNA writer Dutch Mantel; therefore TNA should not be ruled out as a future option. Harry Smith tested positive for Stanazolol (Winstrol V) on September 13th. Smith allegedly took the anabolic steroid while he was working developmental territories. He is scheduled to return from his suspension at the December 2nd RAW house show in Savannah, Georgia. What You Didn't See On RAW This Week - Two Reports Written by Steve Carrier on Nov 19, 2007 - 9:00:13 PM Thanks to Bobby Barnett at www.myspace.com/stricklycadd for calling in the following live results from Monday Night RAW in Fort Lauderdale, Fla: There was only a small part of the upper deck tarped off. Bobby said the place was pretty full. WWE Heat: Oleg 'Vladimir Kozlov' Prudius defeated Norman Smiley in about five minutes. Huge reaction for Smiley. This was likely a tryout match with WWE and you may see him again tomorrow at the SD! and ECW tapings. We shall see. Brian Kendrick & Paul London defeated The Highlanders in a match that went about 12 minutes. Said to be decent and it was given time. Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated a local jobber. Not sure of the name. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch defeated The Worlds Greatest Tag Team (Benjamin & Haas). Lilian sings national anthem and we're ready for RAW. ----WWE has announced that Kane will take on Matt Striker and Big Daddy V in a handicap match on tomorrow night's edition of ECW on Sc-Fi. Ric Flair will make his return to WWE on next week's edition of RAW. RAW will air live next Monday from Flair's hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. Flair's return was revealed during tonight's edition of RAW as the company aired a video package dedicated to The Nature Boy. Speaking of next Monday's RAW, Triple H and Jeff Hardy will team up to take on Snitsky and Umaga on the show. The torch runner on tonight's edition of RAW was WrestlingNewsWorld.com's own Jon Palmar. Jon writes an occasional blog here on the WNW Blog Spot and is training to become a professional wrestler. Congratulations are certainly in order for him as he sold Chris Jericho's clothesline. Jericho was pretty much wearing the exact outfit that he wore back when he first debut on RAW in 1999. MORE of what you didn't see on RAW After RAW went off the air last night, DX defeated Mr. Kennedy and Umaga in a dark main event. DX did their usual comedy stuff on the mic. WWE has removed all of the SAVE_US links from the bottom of the website but have yet to remove all the "2" links from articles and profiles. Randy Orton's marathon runner on RAW last night was WWE fan Jon Palmar. Palmar was featured in a NY Times article from WrestleMania earlier this year as he was interviewed waiting outside the THQ Superstars Challenge. The article said Palmar was an 18 year old who was soon to graduate high school in Miami, FL and said he was an aspiring professional wrestler: “And I want to become a wrestler myself. You know, some steroids and I’ll be able to do it. To accomplish my dreams I’m willing to do whatever it takes,” he said. I believe Palmer is still training to be a professional wrestler and has recently written a column for a wrestling website. Chris Jericho has been added to the WWE RAW Roster page. All signs point to Jericho feuding with Randy Orton for the WWE Title. Does anyone else feel a Royal Rumble win for Y2J is coming? |

| Member of Sylar's Army ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | you should have that little south park charicature of jericho have the new hairstyle. stuff WNW Dave Scherer is reporting that everyone backstage in WWE was happy with Chris Jericho’s return and how it came off in front of the live audience on RAW last night. Jericho was said to be in great spirits and happy to be back with the company. WWEShop.com has released a new “Ric Flair and The Four Horsemen” t-shirt. I noticed the shirt on the web site sometime last week, but it probably means nothing and is just being sold to capitalize on holiday sales. Flair will return to WWE on RAW next Monday night. CNBC has a new story online today talking about the growth of the UFC and how they feel that is taking away from WWE’s popularity. The news outlet wrote, "The sport is also taking share from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), which needs to find a way to counter the trend or risk being in serious trouble." Prior to the dark match on RAW, DX came out and Triple H began to do the DX introduction but Shawn Michaels stopped him and informed him that they were off the air and Vince said that they could no longer do that? Triple H replied with, “We never do what Vince says.” After the match between DX vs. Umaga and Kennedy in a dark match on RAW, Triple H started to flirt with some ladies, one of them lifted her shirt and flashed the audience. While this took place, HBK was in the corner praying and covering his eyes. Lilian Gacria will be on the El Show De Fernando Hidalgo in Miami on America Teve Channel 41 tonight at 7PM. She is expected to be performing and take part in an interview. ***lillian seems to be going around promoting her album on spanish stations. i was watching mun2 earlier yesterday prior to going to work. they had rey mysterio on first and then they introduced lillian afterwards. they didn't really give her enough air time and i don't think she sang. i had to leave for work quickly so i didn't catch the whole interview.*** Back in the spring of this year, Vince McMahon made the call to downplay the sexiness of the WWE Divas and has decided to do so again. This action is an attempt to try to book WWE in a more family friendly way since kids are a larger part of the audience and the adult audience has drifted since the Benoit murders. There is concern within the company that the portrayal of women as sex objects would potentially backfire with so many different media pieces coming. Vince said that they are looking to attract viewers from every demo and for the creative team to not be short sighted in who potential viewers are. Going into WWE's Armageddon pay-per-view next month, the planned SmackDown main event is Batista vs. Edge vs. The Undertaker in a Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship. Plans have Jeff Hardy and Snitsky working a program, as you can see coming off of RAW this week. A match between the two in some fashion is likely for the Armageddon pay-per-view, not necessarily a one-on-one match but maybe some sort of tag match with Triple H and Umaga thrown in. Other Armageddon plans see Chris Jericho taking on Randy Orton in the main event for the WWE Championship. There has been some resistance about putting Jericho in the WWE Title picture this soon but it's believed this is part of his new deal. The footage that was filmed by WWE over the weekend in Naples, Florida was for new TV openings being shot in High-Definition. Additional photo shoots for material that will be used specifically for inclusion in future HD-TV WWE broadcasts also took place. Most of the main rosters were present for the shoots. WWE has been playing with the idea of High-Def broadcasting since September of 2006 at a live event in Uncasville, CT where they taped the show specifically in HD as a test show, complete with backstage promos and everything. Vince McMahon, when asked at the recent stockholders meeting about the company going Hi-Def, predicted they would do so within the year. WWE hasn't officially announced when they will completely switch over to the format but SmackDown will be shown in HD by January 2008, according to releases by WWE and the CW Network. By 2009, all TV broadcasts will be switched over to a digital format. SmackDown taping dark match and spoilers Dark Match...The Nasty Boys defeated Dave Taylor and Drew McIntyre. It was said the Nasty Boys looked pretty good. The main show.....WWE U.S. Champion MVP pinned Rey Mysterio. No Matt or Jeff Hardy appearances. A segment was done where JBL presented MVP with a diamond ring. ****Edge storyline..weird. World Heavyweight Champion Batista came out for an interview. During the course of the taping, it is revealed that Edge's return was done in cahoots with Vickie Guerrero and the two are together, and they were even shown making out at one point. Edge vs. Batista is announced for next week's show. The Undertaker gets involved and gives Guerrero a Tombstone at the end of the episode, with Vicky going out on a stretcher. WWE Tag Champions John Morrison and The Miz defeated The Major Brothers. Jamie Noble defeated Chuck Palumbo Finlay and Hornswoggle defeated Mark Henry in a Handicap match. Great Khali came out and got involved after the match. Torrie Wilson defeated Victoria Kane defeated Big Daddy V by DQ. TAMPA, Fla. – SmackDown Superstar Matt Hardy underwent an emergency appendectomy at a Tampa area hospital tonight. Doctors expect the surgery to keep Hardy out of action anywhere from 1-3 months. An appendectomy by definition is the removal of the appendix from the lower right area of the abdomen. Oftentimes, if the surgery is not performed immediately, severe consequences can follow. Hardy’s emergency surgery comes less than a week after suffering a knee injury at the hands of his former partner, the United States Champion MVP. Did the attack by MVP help lead to the appendectomy that Hardy underwent tonight? |

| The Wicked One ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It was great to see Y2J back! I just wish the crowd would have been more into it. I guess he's going after Orton so that should be fun! I'm more impressed with Jeff Hardy everytime he gets in the ring. Nice to see Triple H is helping him get the push he deserves. |

| Member of Sylar's Army ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i see this as the first step in making triple h a heel again. first he seems like he's on hardy's side and then out of nowhere. bam! he crushes him. then a fued starts where triple h buries hardy and then you have triple h going after the belt again as a heel. stuff Commercials for the January 16th 2008 return of American Gladiators began airing yesterday on NBC during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. American Gladiators will begin taping next week in California and will feature WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan as one of the hosts. Hogan was not in the commercials. TMZ is reporting that Linda Bollea filed for divorce from Terry Bollea on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. Two days before Thanksgiving. They also have a link to the court document they are taking the news from. No reason has been ascertained yet. |

| Ya Rly! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes, Vickie doesn't seem to have any demonstrable talent. Vince should just make Eddie memorial merchandise and cut Vickie a nice check every month. But, as it is, it's actually a good idea to do this with Edge. He's one of the very few "true heels" on the roster. He doesn't try to be funny or cool, and he's not a "monster" who destroys people with no motivation other than he's big. He's a conniving, hateful bastard and I love him for it. I don't know if I can buy Finlay as a face. Can't he just be a mean heel with a soft spot for Hornswoggle, but still uses him as a weapon? That would be hilarious. "Don't hurt my midget!" *picks up Hornswoggle and hits the other guy with him* |

| The Wicked One ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I wonder if there is any chance RVD will come back to WWE? He hasn't made a deal with TNA yet has he? Also now that Shelton is in ECW they need to have him fued with Punk for the ECW title. It's boring watching Punk fued with the same three guys over and over.
