For those that have asked, the Chris Jericho WWE Magazine cover shot is legitimate. The magazine features an in depth article of Jericho putting over the idea of working with John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Ken Kennedy, and even MVP. Jericho said that he went to Lance Storm’s wrestling school to brush off some ring rust and is returning to WWE with a new finishing move and will debut some new moves. Jericho also notes that there will be no more long hair either.


smackdown vs. raw 2008 came out already. The code to unlock ECW’s Kelly Kelly’s alternative attire in the new WWE video game, SmackDown vs. RAW 2008 is KellyKG12R. The code only applies for the X-Box 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game.

To update on the backstage fight between JBL and John Morrison after this week's SmackDown tapings, those who are close to the situation say JBL was basically just standing up for performers he felt had gone out of their way to make The Miz and John Morrison look good, only for the two to not hold up their end by doing the same thing and make everyone who was involved look bad going into a pay-per-view.

If anything needed to be said to Miz and Morrison, it should have been either Vince or someone else in management. But, in WWE, seniority matters, whether you've made something of yourself or not, and JBL is one of the most senior guys there. I will say that JBL is probably one of the best heel commentators in a long time, and is brilliant at both hating and praising people at the same time. But, if he wanted to talk to them about their conduct within the locker room, I guess that's one thing, but he should have left the job performance criticisms to the people whose opinions matter.

Hasn't JBL gotten onto Miz before? I wouldn't blame anyone for laying out JBL next time he gets into something that doesn't concern him.


I don't know about you but Jeff Hardy has become my favorite guy to watch. He a human highlight reel. If he stays out of trouble and stays clean he could be in the main even one day.

Hardy is main event material. He deserves to be in the upper mid card/main event. He is past the IC title scene. And there is many guys who deserve to be in the IC title level. But we probably wont see it, least the guys I like.

I enjoy it moreso cause the womens division is actually worth while. Hardly any botches. And lately I just find the tna product refreshing.

I also miss seeing Angle, Rhyno and now Booker.

I expect Carlito to come on once his release comes.

I agree about Jeff being main event material. He's been on fire since he's come back. The same can be said for Matt.

The only thing that could make this Hornswoggle/Khali match work is if right before the bell rings Big Show comes out to replace Swoggle. That would be pretty sweet.

i don't think anything will happen in the swoggle and khali match. they'll probably get in the ring but something will happen that will stop the match or change it in some way. i think that the wwe finally gave up with the whole jericho return surprise. c'mon they release the wwe issue with him on the cover, they could have stopped the presses and pulled the magazine and released a different one. then not only that but on smackdown earlier tonight one of the last things seen in the new save us promo was "break the walls" i mean c'mon.biggest hint ever. now i'm just wondering if they'll have a new version of his old song or stay with the last one he had. two more days for jericho's return. one for edge's. if he actually does show up at survivor series.

The recent Great Britain episodes of RAW, ECW, and SmackDown will be released on DVD by Silvervision. The title of the set will be called “WWE Live in the UK.” The projected will feature all three television shows from October 2007, as well as a bonus match of Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena from April 2007.

There is backstage talk within WWE that Carlito gave his notice to the company last week sometime. Reports say Carlito and WWE management aren't seeing eye to eye and the RAW superstar has been disappointed with the past year in general. It's believed he will continue to work dates in the coming weeks before he is done with the company.

The following are a few live notes that were sent in:

- Prior to Survivor Series going on air, the cage was held above the ring.

- A sign got confiscated that said, “HBK misses Earl Hebner.”

- To warm up the crowd, they were playing the Wrestlemania 23 recap video.

- Vicky Guerrero came out. There was an Eddie Guerrero chant. She promoted the Hell in a Cell match, but then was interrupted by Armando Estrada. Armando then promoted the ECW Title match.

- Coach then came out next.

- Lilian Garcia is introduced and then sings the national anthem. Huge reaction from the crowd.

- The announcers then made their way to the ring.

- There was no dark match.


Live News & Notes From WWE Survivor Series PPV

Hey, just got back from Survivor Series... few things (Oh before I forget, the pre-show WOO's were INSANE. I cannot believe there were so many every 2-3 minutes throughout the arena, and Flair wasn't even there. Nothing like '06 Rumble.)

Before the show, they just aired the Wrestlemania 23 highlight video (then plugged the dvd), and during the video everyone would either boo or cheer accordingly when one of the wrestlers came on screen. The fans went absolutely ape **** for Cena, but even more so at the gong of the Undertaker. The pop for 'Takers gong before the show event went on the air beat Triple H's in the elimination match. Also, as the announcers made their way to the ring, JR got a TREMENDOUS ovation, King too. Lilian singing the national anthem went over well with the crowd too. They loved her.

Dunno how well it played off on TV, but The Miz got alot of heat, and John Morrison got nothing at first, then some. CM Punk was extremely over with the Miami crowd, and ate up the end of that match, pretty good opener. Besides Mickie, every Diva got a baseline reaction. Melina's botched split got some "You ****ed up" chants, but I doubt any made it on TV. The little kid in front of me wearing a Rey Mysterio mask looked at the guys chanting as if he was lost.

Some little kids cheered for Cody and Holly, but other than that, the crowd sat in silence during this match, I thought it was decent, but hey. Jeff Hardy was over as hell, as was Kane, Rey surprisingly got less cheers. Umaga, Big Daddy, and Finlay all got a borderline dead reaction, which is a shame for Finlay seeing as he's just awesome. MVP got boo'd every time he was on camera, and Matt Hardy got tremendous cheers during the Smackdown Rewind. Kenndy got a mixed reaction, but for the most part, everyone in unison sang his "Misterrrr Kennedy" tune. Triple H's pop was less than enthusiastic, but still rather epic.

Hardy getting the pin shocked everyone, but the reception was amazing. My ears still hurt. (Mostly because of this woman sitting behind me buying into every one of their moves..."CMON TRIPS! TAG IN! TAG IN TRIPS!"

Alot of the males cheered for Shane, and everyone in my section was bowing to Vince. The we want Shaq chants were pretty hilarious. This match was the piss break, quite literally across from me I could see people coming in and out like it was an office building.

HBK was over, as expected. Orton got a mixed reaction, but it is funny to note that when he got in the ring and did his "raise the belt above my head" taunt thing, they raised the volume of his music very distinctively. The fans ate up the Sharpshooter, and the crossface. Some low tuned Beniot chants... Loads of HBK chants during the match, when he lost for the most part, within the boos, people didn't really know what to do, I'm surprised everyone didn't see it coming. (A big guy behind me made a funny comment as well during the start of the match, "This is professional wrestling, what the hell are they doing?"...lol

Y2J chants all during the video package for 'Tista and 'Taker. The fans went bonkers for Batista, but even that was outdone by 'Takers entrance. They wouldn't stop cheering his whole 3 hour walk to the ring, which is great considering how inactive the crowd was the whole night. Undertaker and Let's Go 'Taker chants lasted the whole match. Every person as far as the eye can see got on their feet after the first tombstone. The crowd I could tell really felt it after the second, even I thought he had it, but I knew Edge was yet to return... at first the crowd didn't know what really happened, the Ref just disappeared. Then once it became more clear they went INSANE. Batista going over got a very negative reaction.

After the show went off the air, 'Taker chants filled the arena again as Batista left for the lockeroom and 'Taker sat up, bloodied, beat up, hardly able to move, etc etc. The gong played and 'Takers music rolled, many people turned around to look while they were leaving.

All in all, good show, less than great crowd.

MVP got the most heat, then Edge, but other than that it's hard to say. Maybe The Miz? Batista going over definately stired some peoples tempers.



well i was thinking of downloading the event but after reading that, not anymore. but what i will do is watch tonight. can't wait for jericho. also by simply reading this and the crowd reaction. there really aren't any guys to really root for anymore. people just aren't into many of these wrestlers. some have the "it" factor, but many don't. i'm hoping jericho's new hairstyle doesn't go over wrong on the peeps in attendance tonight. if he does show up.
