We want to see something completely raw and human. And in general now there is a lot of artifice in the way. But every so often sports does provide a moment or two that really puts chills down your spine. So what does Vanderjerk do? Kick it, perpendicular to the goalpost. Unfreakingwitable. Reading the words that came out of Tony Dungys mouth when he missed that kick and the camera zommed in were priceless.
