they should just fill up empty air time with elijah burke running away screaming like a little girl after seeing ghosts. i'd watch it.

news

ECW superstar Elijah Burke posted the following update on his MySpace.com page regarding in appearance on Ghosthunters on the Sci-Fi Network:

Sup family? Hope all had a happy halloween. As for the Black Pope, mine was pretty uneventful until I added a little "Experience" to it, If you get my grip. Last nite, I appeared on Sci-fi's Ghost Hunter and had a very wonderful time with Jason, Grant, Steve and the whole crew. We filmed from Waverly Hills for 6 hours live! Now, im not one to walk around an abandoned/haunted building searching out ghosts, so it can get a little boring, but since I was there I tried to (within limitaions) liven it up as much as I could. Oh how I wanted to tell lyttle Timmy to "Walk Into The Light"! Lol

As you' saw from the show, it became pretty uneventful at times.....But not with YOUR Black Pope!? You ever stop to wonder why most of all the "Activity" was happening around Me? (You might have to think about that one)

My calling is to Entertain YOU, my fans. Whether I'm on ECW, GhostHunters or The Price is Right, if the camera's are rolling, I am On! So I hope I was able to add a little something special (The Bat, The touch on my back), especially for those who follow me weekly and to all of who wish to believe. And Remember, "SEEING IS BELIEVING!"

STAMFORD, Conn., November 2, 2007 – In accordance with its Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy, WWE today suspended the following performers for violations: Chris Mordetzky (Chris Masters) for 60 days (second violation) and Harry Smith

(D. H. Smith) for 30 days (first violation). * i think chris masters is the dumbest guy on the face of the planet. he gets caught once and he still goes and does it again. i say he's already hooked on the stuff.*

In a 2003 interview with SLAM! Wrestling, Harry Smith said he had no plans on taking steroids. "I've never taken steroids, I don't plan to. I loved my Dad, and yes he made mistakes, but I have learned from them. I won't go down that path." Obviously, things change. *another dumb guy***

There's been some question as to whether this is Chris Masters' third suspension due to Wellness violations, which would result in termination from the company. Masters was sent to rehab in 2006 after WWE intervened on his painkiller addiction. During this time, he never failed a Wellness test so he was never suspended. His first official suspension with the company came earlier this year in the middle of the Signature Pharmacy scandal. Masters was suspended for 30 days then. This marks his second suspension due to Wellness violations, so he's out for 60 days. Masters won't be able to return to action until the first SmackDown show of 2008.

The NY Post has an article today talking about JBL's wife, financial analyst Meredith Whitney. On Friday, Whitney downgraded Citigroup's stock that caused major problems at the U.S. stock market with $369 billion vanishing in one day. Apparently she has been receiving death threats as well as hate-filled phone calls and e-mails from investors. JBL was headed to Texas for the weekend but decided to cancel his trip to be there for his wife. He told The Post: "I just don't want her to be alone this weekend. She tried to talk me into going, but if someone accosted her on the sidewalk or something, I don't know what I would do."

Those guys are dumb, especially HGH Smith. Masters was obviously back on the steroids, but Smith only had one or two appearances before his suspension. Now, when he comes back, no one is going to care. Or, they'll have to try to build him back up again (which they should have done in the first place).

DH is screwed plain and simple. He had his shot and he knew full well of his dads past like the interview from 2003 of DH.

Why don't they just fire Masters and get it over with?

Also now that ECW can have people from Smackdown on do you think they will get any more tv time? They only have an hour and thats not alot of time.

Masters wouldn't need steroids if his gimmick didn't depend on it. If they don't fire him, they need to repackage him. Narcissist gimmicks NEVER EVER WORK!

steroids will take you in three different directions. the hogan direction, the luger direction, or death. only one of those is rare (hogan).

sad news

WWE is saddened by the passing of Hall of Famer Fabulous Moolah.

In the world of women’s wrestling, there will always be one irrefutable legend that stands head and shoulders above the rest: The Fabulous Moolah. She was the longest reigning champion in the history of her chosen sport, or any sport for that matter. And with more than 50 years in the business to her credit, she established a legacy that will never be forgotten, making her name synonymous with female wrestling.

There are comments posted on WWE.com regarding the recent death of the Fabulous Moolah from Mae Young, Howard Finkel, 80s wrestling star Donna Christanello and current WWE Women's champion Beth Phoenix.

Smackdown vs RAW 2008 has been reviewed by IGN. They are reporting that it is far the worst game in the Smackdown series released. The highest rating was for the X-Box 360 which got a 7.8 (Good). The PS3 & Wii versions received a 7.5 (Good). DS got a 7.0 (Decent). PS2 received a 6.8 (Passable) and finally on PSP it scored 6.5 (Passable).

According to WWE.com, it only took 30 minutes for 41,000 tickets to be sold for next year's Wrestlemania 24 event in Orlando, FL. This will make Wrestlemania XXIV the highest grossing event in history of the Florida Citrus Bowl. Tickets are still available via TicketMaster.com

I dont plan on getting SD 08 this year. Mostly because the roster is so outdated and I played the demo and didnt like the controls. Ill put my $60 somewhere else.

I heard about Moolah, it sucks but she did something most wrestlers dont get to see, very old age.

I'll rent RVS 08 but I won't be buying it unless it's really good. The last few games have been pretty much exactly the same. The season mode goes so fast that in the week you have in rented you can play through the entire game and then thats it. No need to buy it.

i have never owned a wrestling game but i have rented or tried the demos. i've played the last raw vs. sd game demo for the xbox 360 and thought it was ok. i didn't like the controls but i got used to them, sort of. i'll have to wait to try another demo of the new one or just rent it out.

news.

It was just announced on NBC that The Rock will host next week's SNL. This will be the third time The Rock has hosted SNL. His appearance could be canceled due to the expected writers strike that could begin tonight at midnight.

The only update on Fabulous Moolah is from Donna Christanello, who was living in the home. Donna says Moolah had been recovering from shoulder surgery and was doing better. She was nauseous on Friday night when they put her to bed. She was given a shot and they later found out that she died either en route to or in the hospital. If you would like to send your condolences, mail them to Moolah's daughter at:

Mary Austin
101 Moolah Dr.
Columbia, SC 29223

Shane McMahon's wife, Marissa McMahon, finished today's New York City Marathon in 4 hours 30 minutes and 51 seconds.
