If there is anything that you want to see changed in the points system, majority rules. Besides the usual suspects(Spin, snake, Blackwolf, Ox, Burn, Spin's mystery uncle etc), noobs are welcomed as always but the only thing I ask for is commitment to the league, remember no team is out after a month.

I signed up and the the league looks about like it always does.

Here's some suggestions though:

1. Trade Review League Votes: I think you should change that so you'll have soul control over trades. If there's a lot of complaints about a given trade you'll here about it in here, then you can do what you think is right.

2. Trade Reject Time 2 days: Some people don't check in every day, so to give people a chance to see pending trades I suggest you give them a little longer. 3-4 days?

3. Can't Cut List Yahoo! Sports: I would get rid of that. If a "Can't Cut" player gets hurt or is going to be out for the the season Yahoo drags it's feet about updating it's players. You may get stuck with someone on your team who isn't even playing for a couple weeks. It happened to me in baseball with Bedard. We've only had 1 person I think over the years drop all their talent for seemlying no reason in the middle of the season so it shouldn't be a problem. If someone does do it though, you can just not allow anyone to pick those players up.

League is head to head. I'm trying not to mess with tradition, the last time we experiented with Roto every owner threw the white flag after a month.

I'd appreciate if everyone registered and set up their rankings before October 21(league starts Oct. 29)

What's the minimum # of teams we need to have this league? May be time to make it public, or get people from another board?

I already made my rankings and opened the league up for Public. If in the next three days no one signs up i'm afraid I'll have to abort. :(

Errr, I don't know much about how the setup on this works, but if you look at the setting it say Max Teams: 4. So wouldn't that prevent more from joining?

Strange I thought I had set it up at 12 max. The league is still public, i'm giving it a week max for others to join and draft.

If not we could set up a vote to either abort or just play with the owners we have.

I'd play with just the 4 teams...it's fine with me. We just might want to make the rosters a little bigger. Add anoter PG, SG, SF, PF & C if that's the case.

I thought you said you were going to change these:

Waiver Time: 2 days
Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo! Sports
Trade Review: League Votes

Should be:
Waiver Time: 3 days (for people who don't check in every other day)
Can't Cut List Provider: (Yahoo can really screw you with this. They might not let you drop somebody who gets a season ending injury until it's too late.)
Trade Review: Commish (We don't know the people who signed up after you made it public. They might all disappear after 1 week. So if you leave it up to votes there might not be anyone to vote except for the original 4 teams. You're truthworthy just do it yourself, if a team objects to something they will post it here or at the League Home page.)

I agree. You've been around long enough to have our trust and you certainly know the value of the players. Just listen to the regulars and make a decision.

Looks like we got ourselfs a league. Most of these cats are "ghosts so we'll see how it goes.[Spin left a note on the main page in case if any of them want to inform themselves of the happenings of the league.]

I changed back to the previous settings(they must have reset after I changed the max teams).

Rosters should be set for tommorow. I've already given enuff time to pre-draft so I don't think it warrants any complains, fill me?
