I go with the Pats too, tho since that scandal I'm a little down on them. Which teams do you think have been the surprise teams on the win side so far? I'm going with Green Bay, Dallas and Houston. |

It's inexcusable that Belichick would bother to do something so trivial with a team like that. If they keep this up they are Super Bowl bound. Of course, they haven't really been tested yet. They'll have a lot more to gloat about after Cincinnati and Dallas. Cincy's at home, backs to the wall at 1-2. They have a good vertical passing game, which the Pats have struggled with in the last few years. Aside from the addition of Adalius Thomas, it's the same secondary. This has all the makings of a trap game. I feel for Carson Palmer he could throw for a 1.000 yards in a game and guess what the defense will give up thrice. Suprises: -The Chargers sucking so much without Marty. -The Saints letdown in a pathetic NFC. Last edited by Captain Beefheart : 09-27-2007 at 01:50 AM. |

I remember Week 3 last year when the Denver defense was being heralded as the second coming of the steel curtain, next thing you know Peyton Manning dumps 40 on them. You don't really know what's up with a season until Week 10, around Thanksgiving where the Lions most likely if they are scheduled will get toasted. Sorry Ox. ![]() I don't think anyone predicted such a letdown from the Saints. And at the same time you have to acknowledge Drew wasn't as GOOD as he was last year. Deuce getting injured broke the camel toe in terms any forward momentum they could get. If the Patriots stay healthy there are four games that they will have a hard time with: @Miami, Pittsburgh, Dallas, and Indy. |

Sorry Ox. It depends on how well Green Bay plays as that is my Lions opponent. Can Favre continue playing like he has? Are my Lions as bad as they looked at Philly? We'll see.... |

![]() ![]() I'll be intresting to see how this will change Bush's game, if at all. Drew is in a major slump, Colston is being double teamed and our O line sucks. Not to mention our defense hasn't had any flex for I dunno - 8 years?? aha! these are the Saints I know and love!

![]() Tony Romo baffles. Play of the year? That bobbled snap may be a blessing in disguise. He has bounced back very strong, and we all know being a QB is mostly mental. It's about moxie, confidence, attitude, and preparation. Last edited by Captain Beefheart : 10-01-2007 at 12:03 AM.
