GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was a helluva game. I miss Tiger Stadium SO much.

The Cowboys had a bad game all around. Romo stunk. Owens stunk. The RB's stunk. The defense was solid, but they had their moments, too. And, of course, the special teams stunk. There are games when everything goes wrong, and this was one of them for Dallas. What Buffalo did in sealing off the out/fly routes with Hurd and Owens, and have an underneath and over-top guy on Jason Witten was a blue print for how to defend the Cowboys offense in the future.

They did nice job of sealing off those routes, and taking advantage of Romo's (as it seems) known tendency of looking for Witten over the middle.

Tho today was not a good day for Romo by any means he, and Jason Garrett, showed something really special, theses guys have real heart and are real resiliant.

Sure, Romo threw 5 picks but after the first he got up, Garrett gave him another opportunity and he did it again, and again. But for Garrett to continue giving him the ball and for Romo to orchestrate those last two drives really demonstrated his self confidence. That is the difference between him and Grossman, well that and Romo's uncanny ability to avoid the rushers and make plays against all odds.

Yea Romo is the new Favre, lots of mistakes, but he comes back and keeps throwing til he wins.

To think I picked him off the waiver wire in fantasy football last year.

They don't seem that miserable. I must have initially overlooked the influx of Loyola alumni's and their fervor for a sport which isn't even practiced here. For 10 bonus kosh points guess which one of them I used to call witch as a kid and still to this day has the timbre of Violet Parr in the Incredibles.

I can help you there Mo. As a Lions fan, I'm use to picking out a second team to root for, since my Lions normally are out of it by now.

I go with a team that for some reason catches my eye. I particularly like underdog teams or teams with good QB's.

So ask yourself what you like about the game and find a winning team that has that.

This year so far it's Brett Favre and the Packers for me, tho Tony Romo and his Cowboys are close....except I hate the Cowboys....which makes it hard for me to root for them.

Don't totally write off Philly...they could yet put it together.

Ox - we are seasoned losers it seems. lol. I will continue to support my Saints, but I need another team to root for as well. I'm thinking Green Bay as I think it would be great for BF to go to a superbowl again. I'm also pulling out all my Tiger gear, #1 in the nation baby!

1957 was our last NFL title!

I think our QB from that title year just passed away recently... from old age!

We've had exactly 1..count it ...1 playoff victory since then!

Here's a confession:

I was a Pats fans in the 90's, Parcells/Bledsoe era. All that changed when Tom Brady bunched his panties and roared on in.

Bledsoe had his faults, but the way people talk about him, you'd think they were talking about some loser who had no business playing.

He played a huge role in getting the Pats to the Super Bowl in 96. And before he got there, the Patriot franchise was a joke. Sure, Parcells had something to do with bringing the team up as well. But don't think Bledsoe had nothing to do with it. He was deadly accurate, with a touch on the long ball you had to ****ing see to believe. Give the dude Montana's line or Aikman's, or Elways?

That being said, he always held onto the ball wayyyy too long and got drilled often.

I don't know why it is but something doesn't seem right with the club not just the football team i've been watching vids @ the eagles site of andy reid & other members & they don't seem right...

As for which team i should support what i do know it wont be the Cowboys or the Giants can't see myself going for them.

I might go with Green Bay just cuz of Brett top bloke could be his last season.
