Thoughts on 8/14 Raw

MICKEY JAMES vs. LITA Awsome match. I really think it sucked that Lita has become the new champ though. It really sucks.

UMAGA vs. ALEX SAGE Thought he was done with squashes???

JOHNNY NITRO vs. RIC FLAIR Not much for a match

MIKEY & KENNY vs. HACKSAW DUGGAN & EUGENE Again not much of a match but it was good to see duggan/eugene get the win itherway.

CARLITO vs. EDGE Decent match for TV I guess.

Overall I thought raw was soso. Im upset Milena got the boot from the diva search :( I didnt see any of the DX segmant as I went to do other things during it. The hogan bit was alright.

i thought the milf was going to get booted off. but that umaga match, well if you saw the sign in the audience that said "whats the point" that's how i felt about that match. didn't even see the women's title match, i caught it too late. but lita winning the title, wrong just wrong. as for the dx segment. nothing interested, just the same old thing of i'm gonna kick your this and i'm gonna kick your that and vince loves....well you know.

Good opening promo by Edge.

Mickie James vs. Lita - I don't know why they had Lita win the belt. Are they turning Mickie face? Is she in hot water with management? She's barely been on Raw lately. Or are they simply trying to get Edge and Lita over as some sort of heel "power couple?" Excellent match, though. Mickie's thong got the biggest pop of the night

DX/McMahon Stuff - Meh. Honestly, end it at Summerslam. Please. Let DX feud with someone else, then turn Shawn heel.

Mick Foley promo - Again, Foley is God.

Umaga Squash - The sign asked, what's the point? I think the point was that Umaga's matches with Triple H and HBK made Umaga look weaker than they should have, so they have to build him back up as a killer, and the best way to do that is have him kill more jobbers.

Johnny Nitro vs. Ric Flair - Didn't watch it.

Divas vs. Diva Wannabes Beat the Heat Water Fight - Hot chicks always look better wet. Oh, it's true. Anyone catch the guy yelling "go back to Real World!" at the Miz? Torrie looks like she's been gaining some weight back. She looked real lean not too long ago. Much better now. I'm pretty sure the MILF is going to win, or at least get signed anyway. Most of them do. Just bring back Mother Joy if you need quality MILF action on Raw, dammit.

Eugene/Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Spirit Squad - Missed most of it, but I like the Highlanders. They need more TV time.

Edge vs. Carlito - I knew it would get interrupted by Cena, but as far as the match goes, it was good. Carlito's very impressive. His high-flying moves are great. Will Trish put Lita over one more time before she leaves the company?

Randy Orton/Hulk Hogan Trainwreck - I think that segment was one of the most poorly-planned and executed segments I've seen in awhile. The fake Hogan killed the real Hogan's entrance, and the whole thing just came off terribly.

wow. i spotted all those signs too. and world titles should not spin. that whole spinning thing makes it look cheap. like the toy version of it.
