| Iran - Angola. I think this will be the first win for Angola. 2-0. Portugal - Mexico. Neither team have played good. I say 1-1. Ivory Coast - Serbia&Montenegro. Another lousy game by the serbians and Ivory Coast will win this one. 2-0. Holland - Argentina. Both teams have looked good but especially Argentina. It's gonna be tight but Argentina will win it. 3-1. |

| I like the way these are setting up. One good game and one bad game so I don't have to worry about flipping back and forth. I'll be flipping back and forth on Thursday and Friday. My predictions- there will be goals, or not. Someone will get fouled and act like their leg got shattered and then be running up and down the pitch within a minute. Maradona will be shown 50 times during the Holland-Argentina match. |

Portugal/Mexico: 3-1 for the lucitanos. Univision's post game summary/analysis is cut shortly right after. Neither of them really have a chance against Holland/Argentina. Serbia/Ivory Coast: Don't care. Argentina/Holland: Both teams will field "B Teams".. The scary thing about Argentina is that Peckerman is playing with kid gloves. He's pulling punches right now. You saw what Messi did in 15 minutes. In this one I expect he'll atleast play a full half. Messi will run this tournament if he stays healthy. Peckerman is pretty much keeping him wrapped up right now. But when he plays they will be almost unbeatable. |

A few interesting shots, but nothing too big happened. I think Pekerman should make room for Messi in the starting lineup by moving him(RM) and taking off Cambiasso.. But, I would understand if he doesn't want to mess with a good thing. Tevez should also find a way in the starting lineup, but who does he replace? Crespo is the team's best finisher and Saviola is in the best form of his life. I really wish I checked out the Ivory Coast game. They are such an entertaining team and each time they've been down 2-0 they've managed to make it interesting, but this time they pull through and get the victory in the end instead of coming short. There were two penalty shots that they cashed in on, I didn't see the calls, so I can't judge them. |

| Ahhh. Cote D'Ivoire....During a break in the Neth-Arg game, I flipped to the other game and saw that Segbia was leading Ivory Coast 2-0. My initial thought was "hmmm, this is a problem they can/and will solve with MORE ATTACKING FOOTBALL"... If Ivory Coast were in any other group other than the G.o.D, they would have qualified. Such a shame that they're leaving at this stage. They played some dazzling football in every game. The elephants and their fans will never forget their performance - and they'll be back with a vengeance! Anyway...the Oranje can do it. Coach Will Ferrel and co. have what it takes. Pretty crappy match. Never worried about Holland losing the game. Argentina's only win over Holland came in the most disgraceful World Cup of all time in 1978 so, yeah, never worried. So it's the Portugals next for the Dutch. TIME FOR EURO2K4 REVENGE *****ES. Looking pretty good for a Deutschland vs. Argentina quarter final unless Sweden and Mexico pull miracles. Tasty. | |
