Ecuador - Costa Rica. Nice game by the Ecuadorians last time. I suspect a tight defensive game. My bet is 1-1.


England - Trinidad. Can Trinidad repeat the success ofthe last game. I don't think so. I say 3-0 England.


Sweden - Paraguay. A must game for both teams. I hope Sweden can pull this one off. I say 2-1 Sweden.

Joe Cole was really impressive the other day. Beckham wasn't bad either. But in general England has the same problem as Netherlands. They can't convert their Ep into Ek.

They have the spirit, but not the sheer talent. Stern John gets no service, and he is a bit useless anyway. I have no clue how they're going to get goals.

dwight york supposed to be up front but he was mostly in defence against sweden wots up with the 4-4-2 formation

That Yorke played that position shows how desperate they are just to keep it together.

Sweden was crap, anyway. Ljungberg wasn't fit, and it showed.

If England put on a quasi-competent performance, they will beat T&T. If they turn on the magic, they will pummel T&T.

I greatly admire T&T, but think they're scrwed.

true ive said from beginning t&t could go through but if they lose no chance but if sweden draw with paraguay there maybe some chance but we will find out tomorrow

TnT won't be able to score unless someone for England gets sent off. The only danger for England is not having anyone being able to finish and getting a 0-0 draw. I think TnT's best moment was against Sweden, they won't be able to repeat it.

England should be looking to rack up a cricket score tomorrow. Swedes will hopefully beat Paraguay.

what can I say except wow about the Ecuadorians. 3-0 against Costa Rica.

80 minutes of torture.

Trinidad played very well again and England were dismal again.

Lampard was terrible. It seemed like after every one of his misses, he felt he had to make amends by scoring, but he kept missing and missing.

The entrance of Rooney and Lennon in particular turned the match, I think.

After Gerrard's goal, I really wanted to see Trinidad pull one back. They more than deserved it.

They need to put Gerrard in Lampard's spot and bring in a true defensive presence in the midfield. Lampard blew so many chances today.

The double substitution brought some urgency to Englands game and Lennon was excellent. They've got to start converting more chances though...

Great to see Rooney on but Lennon was superb, and Gerard's goal; as good as Kaka's.

if england play like that in the last 16 they will be slaughtered and out of it 1st game t&t did very well for 83 mins then went down hill even those they did score a goal which was offside
