I nearly posted about Spaced earlier. I loved it, esp the Buffy references. I looked for some clips on YouTube but there weren't any. You can buy the DVDs though.

The Matrix episode was a TV classic.

Don't put the cart before the horse. Look at it from her perspective; everything is new to her. The job, the people, you could be seeing something that's not quite there. Get to know her better, and take your time. Just don't be a turtle about it and wind up a 'friend'.

Also, be easy about 'dipping your pen in the company ink' as it's usually best to keep a distance between personal and professional life.

If you're talking about the British show starring Simon Pegg, I'd just like to say that I thought it was cool when it was being broadcast first on the BBC many years ago. Also, you're all hacks.

Shaun of the Dead was superb, the bit when they start throwing the vinyls at the zombies and are going through them, deciding what to throw is priceless. "NO!! That was a first pressing!" and "Dire Straits.... THROW IT!" OUCH.

and gervais is a one note joke, that was only mildly amusing to begin with. "ohh, but its so real to life!" f**k that. It annoys me in real life, its doesnt get much funnier put in a TV show, and repeating it with slight variations for 6 episodes a series doesnt make it any funnier. You know that the british f**kin public voted "garlic bread" the best one liner ever the other week? It turns out im in a country full of f**kin idiots. "ooh, but its wafer thin ham".. F**K OFF!!!!
