joke site with videos, jokes, funny images etc. It was widely popular and never had a forum... would you be excited? Would you want to help update with an easy control panel?

If by update you mean contribute, then yes, but without the ratings. Just have the humor for itself - no need to inflate or deflate egos.

More details to follow, but Fanhost has purchased a large jokes site including videos, photos, jokes, and more.

Should be nice a place in those ways, but it's a hard work to find legal stuff.
I mean that ... 90% of portuguese jokes are ponographics , for example.

I think that sounds fantastic. That's part of the reason people don't contribute, I believe. With this ratings thing it kinda puts your ass out there for anyone to bite. And it hurts to get a 7, dammit!

Oh, okay, I just wonder if it might be counterproductive, as it sounds like more people will be submitting to the site, I can only imagine less people will be submitting to the forum.

i had them do that. the site is over 3gigs compressed... transferring it over isn't easy.
