need some help and advice so as some of you know, my 1992 Honda Civic LX was stolen recently. I got it back. They messed up the steering wheel column, it still works fine, its just that i cant adjust the wheel, the tilt broke. they also took the catalytic converter and I had it replaced with a straight thru pipe. I know Honda Civics arent fast to begin with but now the engine sort of stalls at stop lights, it makes noises like it wants to die and when the green light comes on, theres a delay in the acceleration, but it runs fine once it gets going. Im hearing all kinds of things from all my friends. some tell me to check the spark plugs, the throttle, air filter. etc. is it the straight pipe that causing the problem? what could it be?
the fuel filter is fine, I changed it, the injectors are clean as well. do I need a bigger filter or pump?
its bumming me out, my little honda used to run so good, even with 250,000 miles on it.
one more thing, when I turn on the AC, the stalling gets even worse, and this is not good for someone who lives in Texas. I need the AC.
