Renault has chosen the Geneva Motor Show to take the wraps off its Mégane Coupé Concept show car which foreshadows a compact production coupe to be released at a later date. Like New Laguna, it points to an evolution towards more fluid, sportier styling from Renault. Mégane Coupé Concept targets drivers who are not only drawn by the notion of driving pleasure but who also seek to express their personality through their vehicle. Mégane Coupé Concept symbolizes Renault's vision of what a genuine compact sports coupe should deliver, namely character and dynamism, two traits epitomized by the show car's unprecedented door opening kinematics.

Very sleek. I could happily drive one of those.

But it's an evil petrol engine... bad Val. Not very eco friendly.
And ugly and French; never had a good French car.

Despite this is a beautiful project but the weak point is the petrol engine.
Well, as this Mégane is still in project, they can change this detail on time!

Standard cycle CO2 emissions / fuel consumption 154g/km / 6.5 litres/100km

It's not the most inefficient engine on the market though. My Prius runs at about 5l/100km depending on driving conditions and fuel (regular or high octane) so 6.5l isn't totally shocking.
