Early indications are that McLaren and Ferrari are still well ahead of the pack racing for 1 & 2. Then the rest of the field is going for 3rd. The F1s hit the track tomorrow. Race day Sunday and it's going to be HOT so that should test them in the first race of the year. |

For those who are interested, Kimi time wise did make the first cut of qualifying but had a fuel problem and since the car stopped on the circuit he apparently couldn't continue. I love him in interviews though. He's always very quick to point out that the car isn't up to scratch so don't expect too much. It's good he has confidence and awareness of his abilities. ![]() |

Heidfield are having problems with the water in his clothes. There's a little engine that automaticaly starts every time when the pilot is thirsty. Exactly now, this engine broke and can't stop. For those who are interested, Kimi time wise did make the first cut of qualifying but had a fuel problem and since the car stopped on the circuit he apparently couldn't continue. Looks like he also got a penalty for the repairs they'll have to do since this years rules are no changes to the car after qualifying.
