The high-performance Type S model (shown) is re-introduced; it gets the 3.5 liter V6 engine from the RL with a 6-speed manual transmission, styling upgrades and a performance-tuned suspension for better handling. 2007 Audi A4 Cabriolet ![]() An all-new Cabriolet joins the A4 lineup. Powertrain choices are a 200 hp turbo four-cylinder with either front- or all-wheel-drive or a 255 hp V6 with all-wheel-drive. 2007 Audi S6 ![]() HOLY GOD!!! This new high-performance version of the A6 gets a 435 horsepower 5.2 liter V10 engine and all-wheel-drive. 2007 Bentley Continental GTC ![]() The GTC convertible is a new addition to the Continental lineup. Like the GT coupe, it features a twin-turbocharged 552 horsepower W12 engine, 6-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive. Compared to the Azure it's a relative bargain at $189,990. Veeeeeeery expensive for the mortals! 2007 BMW M6 convertible ![]() The high-performance M6 is now available as a convertible. I liked! ![]() 2007 Ford Shelby GT ![]() This specially modified Mustang gets Ford Racing power and handling kits, including a Hurst short-throw shifter for manual-transmission models, along with special markings and a dash plaque to certify the car. All work is carried out at Carroll Shelby's shop in Las Vegas. Now I know what Nicolas Cage felt piloting one. 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan ![]() The 197 hp hot-rod Civic Si, introduced in 2006 as a coupe, will be available in sedan form for 2007. This Civic is available here in Brazil. 2007 Jaguar XK Convertible ![]() Jag's new XK is made out of aluminum to save weight. Power comes from a 300 horsepower V8. Aluminun??? Interesting! 2007 Lexus LS460 ![]() Lexus' flagship gets a radical redesign for 2007. The new LS is available in standard (LS460) and long-wheelbase (LS460L) models. Among the LS' technical wizardry is a self-parking system. A long-wheelbase hybrid variant, called the LS 600h L, will go on sale in the spring as a 2008 model. Despite I don't like Lexus, but it's a nice model. 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL550 ![]() CL Coupe and roadster get freshened styling; SL550 with new V8 engine replaces the SL500 while SL600 and SL55 AMG models get an increase in power. 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder ![]() A new convertible version of the Eclipse called the Eclipse Spyder went on sale in 2006 as a 2007 model. Very nice! 2007 Saturn Sky ![]() New to me! Saturn's new two-seat rear-wheel-drive roadster shares its mechanical bits with the Pontiac Solstice, but gets its own sheetmetal and unique styling. A hot-rod Red Line model boasts a 260 horsepower turbocharged engine and stiffer suspension. It's a cool car. 2007 Volvo S80 ![]() Volvo's top-of-the-line sedan is completely new for 2007 -- not that you'd know, because it looks a lot like the outgoing version. The new S80 offers two powertrains: A 235 horsepower inline 6-cylinder and front-wheel-drive or 311 hp V8 and all-wheel-drive. An active suspension optimizes ride and handling with three driver-selectable settings; safety equipment is, as you'd expect, top-notch. So ... What would you choose for you? ![]() |

| Member Newbie | errr from that list, money no object etc I think I'd go with the 2007 BMW M6 convertible.. I like the benz too but those are just everywhere in my area, yawn.. At least the m6 is a little different.. other then that, maybe the 2007 Lexus LS460 being at least it's not ugly like the Audi S6? That mustang Shelby GT is going to sell huge, dealers will mark it up a ton too but everything I have read about it has it being sort of a heavy slug. Not really living up to the hype.. Plus been there, done that for those sort of cars. I'm ready to move on to something more balanced.. |
