Yup Golf/GTI performance version, R32. :P No turbo. 3.2L VR6, 6 speed..... and AWD!!! :D I loved the car, but sold it because of new job. In January, hello 350Z. ![]() Is your turbo aftermarket? I'm not familiar with Brazil's engine availability, but in the U.S. the only engine available with turbo for the MKIV is the 1.8T. | |

Reason being the engine is installed orthogonally to the center-ine of the car. The most powerful engines installed in the Golf is a 3.2l V6 with 240 hp(?) (Golf R32). The strongest Opel engine for the Vectra of the product line was a 2.5l V6 with 195 hps. I don't know what's the top engine in the new Vectra. It's likely Val's Vectra doesn't have an Opel engine in it, but I doubt they redid the whole sideway-engine-concept. I bet it's a 16V R4 with about 2l displacement. |

| currently without DSL :-( ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The pictures are taken in front of an disused factory. I didn't wash my car before taking the pictures or in the last couple of months. My car is old 12 years old and because of the 11 winters and the salty roads that come with them it's rusty too. ![]() The wheel arcs are affected the most. ![]() I don't even have 4 identical hub caps. The ones on the passenger's side make the rims look even smaller. Yoo see the car isn't a hobby of mine, it's just a way to get from one point to another. ![]() The small engine looks exhausted but it still runs nicely and smoothly. Also I found that this 1.6 8V is more fuel economic than the 1.6 16V ecotec (I know someone who drives that engine) ![]() Although the car has been reliable - apart from one ripped v-belt, it never let me down in 150000 km - it still will most likely be scrapped by the end of the year. There's just too much rusted chassis parts plus insurance is pretty high for older cars. Last edited by Samson The Cat : 02-18-2007 at 07:32 PM. |

What about your panel Samson? Is it the same as mine? I think the 1.6 engine is too weak for the Vectra. I think MINE is weak and I have a 2.0 with 8v engine huh?
