Orchid Show

I took in the 91st annual Orchid show at the Missouri Botanical Garden yesterday. About 800 plants are on display and are continuously replenished from the garden’s stock of 8,100 specimens. The following are some of the pictures I took.

Holy.......

Now THAT is an orchid show. Absolutely exquisite. I love how many different species they have on show, so often displays are limited to the obligitory cym's, phal's, odont's and paph's, but they've got a great cross-selection going on there.

Thank you so much for taking pics, Fixr, I hope I can see it for myself next year, it's clearly worth the trip.
