| Perennially Disgruntled ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Anybody up for it? Who's got suggestions for the next selection? How about Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K ****? It became Blade Runner and its got a cool title. But I've never read it so its just one that I'm throwing out there. (on a trippy side note, how weird is the spelling of the word "two"???? It looks more like Hebrew than English. Woah.) |

Actually spent about 2 hours today wandering around Barnes and Nobles....ahhh...BLISS. |

Let's leave the overrated self-indulgent style over substance brain dead wannabe intellectual snoozefest for the third instalment. My suggestion: ![]() |

If you wanna finger yourself reading sum garbage a jocky hippy dude with a walrus moustache who wore suspenders in the 90's wrote when he was 19, then died and his mom cleaning out his desk found the manuscript in his drawer, turned it to sum publisher and was the inspiration for movies you can find at your local Walgreens discount bin that's dope with me. But I ain't reading that s!hit, too much Dostoevsky, not enuff time. ![]() Last edited by Captain Beefheart; 06-09-2008 at 01:36 AM.. |

I like using words. Noone is going to drown in them. This isn't the kiddie pool. And I do enjoy the hostility that appears whenever someone phucks around with the keyboard, the authorative NO, might as well have bolded it. Continue to glaze over while I continue to find words and nuanced/awkward phrasing both funny and interesting. More on point I loathe the Philip K. **** writers, the Chuck Palahniuk's of the literary world, cult writers. These cats are great for people between the ages of 16 and 19. They totally nail the rebellious kid of that age's weltanschauung right on the head with their hipster literal wankery. |
