Default Art. Political agendas and sum Mark Twain..

The animation is so fantastic. On many, MANY levels. Manu is spaniard, explains the accent eh?

And a separate claymation video of Mark Twain's "Adventure" that was banned from TV:

Imagine how much work went into that, only for it to turn into an internet clip.

Waking up from a dream-state, and then watching that (Satan's face?!?.. pffttt...). It just puts you in the state of mind that words can't really even describe. The Adventures of Mark Twain had a very spooky and stilted atmosphere throughout, but that clip from The Mysterious Stranger is by far the most interesting portion.

Twain himself was such a creepy guy. And funny. Everyone should read "Letters From the Earth"? The concept is that Satan is writing letters back to his old buddies, the other arch-angels, and telling them what Earth is like. Because when God punished him for not towing the company line, he was banished to Hell (i.e. Earth. HA!.)

As I remember, it's great. The most memorable part for me is how he outlines humans strange obsession with death and how off we are about what happens. He points out how silly it is that 1 in every 10 people have proficiency with musical instruments, but all the portrayals of heaven have people singing. Also about how dumb it is that we left sex out of heaven when God made it to be the one thing we enjoy the most.

I don't know very much about Mark Twain. He's on my list of authors I want to read books about. From what I hear, he was kind of an azz to his family - but a decent fellow to the outside world. Letters from the Earth sounds interesting.
