Saw Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream last year. Romantic and funny stuff. Loved it.

Some friends of mine said: "Let's watch this together, it's performed by a crew that consists of 50% mentally handicapped people and 50% sane people. A portion of the fee is for charity." And I was like, "What?!? Handicapped ppl acting together with "normal" ones?? That cannot work!" Well, it did work and everybody in the crowd enjoyed it. And you should've seen the stacked young actress who played Hermia.

Oh by 'stacked' you meant well-endowed! OK i understand now, germans are not that weird. I thought you were just being very politically correct there!

I've never been politically correct in my entire life. BTW, she was very young and had a beautiful face too. A perfect 10.

No, the performance was in German. I've read several of Sir William's plays in both English and German, including that one.

His only drama I read only in German is Hamlet. I tried in English, but to be honest I gave it up because it was too complex for me. You know Hamlet pretends to be a lunatic while having vengeance on his mind. Ophelia also talks like a lunatic after her father's death. That was pretty hard for me to understand even in my native language.

There is nothing better than a girl talking shakespearean, even if she is unfortunately german! BUt yeah you have to work your way up. I couldn't even understand it in english if i haven't studied the play before. Don't worry your english is probably amazing. You can work your way up by doing german first, or just watching a film adaptation, as long as it doesn't involve leanardo di caprio. Then you can watch in english, and then eventually read it in english and you have reached nirvana.

My favourite is The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter (obviously). I've only read a couple of Shakespeare's plays (Julius Caesar and Twelfth Night) and I enjoyed both. I prefer Julius Caesar, though. History is very fascinating. "I am as constant as the northern star"

I haven't seen any of them. Yet.

Little Suzie's hallowed rendition of Leatherface in her controversial Grade 2 talent show adaptation of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
