I was going to make a bunch, but I'm not sure who you guys want as avatars, and it's probably not 1000 Mischa icons, but I made a couple, feel free to use.

IF you want a specific person, let me know here.

They came out good.

What would be really nice is to get most of the avatars we have now trashed and get better/more creative ones for options. Cause what we have now, most are bleh.

From what I remember, the ones we have are tiny right?

Maybe we could go down the list of celebs with forums here and make icons for them first? I like to keep them simple to start, like just bases, and then if people want them customized, they can request that. I think I'm going to start making icons for a couple of the female celebs here if you think that they can get uploaded. Let me know.

Ive looked in the admin CP and they can be uploaded, never tried it, did once and it didnt accept it.

But ya, I thought about making a few also. Most here are from the old board, 75x75 in size. You can pick up tons of icon textures/lights on various blogs/deviantart. So adding some simple effect then just a shrunk down pic with a boarder.

Im sure jeff would add them if we asked. Anything to improve the ones we have now.

I posted some 100x100 avatars for people to use in teh Amanda forum, but im not too good with photoshop so I cant do that much creativly. It would be nice to replace some of the ones we have, they are all very small.

Quality of those open are a little pixelated due to the jpg compression, but it can be fixed somewhat.

Photoshop 6, I dont know it well though, with all the special filters and abilities it has. Its the only photo editing program I have.

ouch, oldie.

Should be able to goto save for web....choose jpg and on the far right, should be some numbers which affect the quality, higher the better. Havent used 6 in ages so it might be different.

Get at least 7 or CS1 *8* if you can find it.

I tried the fan bars, but I don't work well in such a small space. I might try it again later though.

Lol ya, ive gotten so used to working with small since I stopped with 400x400 or larger banners, I feel weird when I do.

Bars are super easy though :/

I just use Pre-cut PSDs, not gonna go to the trouble of cutting pics just to eyes ;p.

OK Vulture you where right, I saved it for web and it came out looking much cleaner then it did before.

looks better, if you wanna make it even better, take out the marquee tool, looks like a dotted square, used it around the picture, goto edit/stroke and select the black color, 1px, click ok then save it as a jpg

gives it a black border like the fanbars and most other gfx lol.
