As previously mentioned, Gackt doesn't sing in English very often. There's the Stevie Wonder cover, as noted, two John Lennon covers (Love is Real and Merry Christmas (War is Over)), and December Love Song, AKA １２月のLove Song (12gatsu no Love Song). The original English version released in 2002 wasn't very good, but he re-did it in 2006 and his English is WAY better.
Speaking of which, this as well as "Returner" and "Aritakke no Ai de" might be coming out in the US this month. Amazon.co.jp sent an e-mail out advertising re-releases of these singles listed as "American imports."
The latest news from the set comes from Gackt's fanclub-only blog. After filming non-stop for two days, during a scene where Gackt and Josh's character were doing hand-to-hand fighting, Josh accidentally punched Gackt in the nose for REAL! XD;;
Gackt said that Josh then immediately dashed behind him and restrained his arms and said "No! It wasn't on purpose!!" Which Gackt said was "probably a good thing to do." Gackt has kind of a temper sometimes and said that the next time someone punches him, regardless of whether or not it is an accident, he is going to punch back. XD;;; |
