Full nudity from Brittney? OMG! I don't have a problem with nudity at all, it's just that if she did this before Hairspray she would have been so young (but legal) Anne Hathaway did Havoc and before the film came out there was a lot of hype about her nude scenes. It was not as graphic as the hype built it up to be (she still had her Princes Diary image) Well, turns out the scenes were shot, but left on the cutting room floor. Anne said in a interview she had no regrets and felt doing the film helped her grow as an actress, so I am not judging her "if" she did a full nude scene. It just seems most actresses wait a little til they are more comfortable and older.
I always applaud actors and actresses who are willing to take a chance and do something risky. I think this helps them grow and learn from their craft. I think if Amanda were to do a horror film I would feel the same. She would be doing something risky and making an attempt to branch out into other genres, which in my opinion is what a filmmaker wants in a actor. Range! If Amanda wants a long career she should consider all types of films and not just sweet comedies. Meryl Streep for example has done comedy,drama,action,musicals,and theater. I don't think there is anything she can not do. |
