My dad wants to write a psychological/philosophical book about tatoos at the moment, I'm actually serious. Our house is full of all these kinky picture books of naked tatooing people. His plan is to write about tatoos in european royalty, it's gonna be like a psychology and genealogy of aristocratic tatooing practices. Because apparently the europo aristos all got these secret tatoos (but nobody knows about this!) in japan, when they became enamoured with the country after the convention of kanagawa. Dad recently went to an auction to buy a hideous (absolutely hideous) topless photo of the king of denmark with a dragon down his back. SO basically anyway the fact that my dad's writing a tatoo book (we think he has repressed tatoo fetish), gives me major green light to get tatooed. But yeah i don't really like the look of them either. I was researching a lot. I've only one I really like, it's on the underside of sienna miller's left wrist, 3:05 in the vid. I want to get that tatoo! It's so cute with her bangles.
