Social, honestly I don't know why you keep picking on articles in the negative. You never answered the last time I asked either. You, married man, know damn well that that line, especially in her state, means something different. It's even something a girl would say to her girl friends in front of her husband just to playfully "show who's boss". Not to mention they could easily have left out any remarks leaning toward sarcasm, like "she said with a laugh". Anyone who can think for themselves knows exactly what she means.
