He is merely an industrialist. Why would he care? He's making millions. He has no integrity. It's just a fraudster. A big scam. The jokes on you. The 'elitist minority' (I'll assume you're talking about the london art industry?) love his work, insofar as they are quite happy to profit off it. His book (published by random house!) was the most profitable 'art' text of 2005. It is probably the work of the saatchi himself.

The people who suffer from this trash are the real artists (and the public who miss out on them). I don't know where to start. My mum's never had a book deal, or a proper exhibition in london. And van gogh couldn't afford shoe polish. Modigliani had to shop-lift bread. The banksy's of the time were taking up all the exhibition space you see. Why are we even calling him 'banksy'? What is he seven? It is almost impossible to make a career out of real art because the public have such bad taste. They prefer to watch television.

I like my street paint. I live in london. I see far far better graffiti than this every single day. Even by the standards of hoxton, banksy is low, unoriginal, ugly. Does he tell you anything you didn't already know? Is it thought provoking? Is it beautiful?

And then what do you mean by 'elitist' ? People who actually care about art? How is that a bad thing? Why is bad to be an intellectual? What is wrong with thinking? Academics don't get paid anything in this country. Unlike bansky, we're not business men. EVeRy banksy work YoU BUY puts hIM even further out Of MY leagUe.
