Governments tend to be too intrusive. Granted, second hand smoke is bad for you and smoking in general is not only injurious to your health but also quite unappealing (IMHO). Around here, some municipalities have banned smoking in all public places. The results - some restaurants have closed or moved to less restrictive locations with a resultant loss of tax revenue to the locale. |
