I wouldn't recommend getting into WoW. Been playing MMORPGs for about 6 years.. WoW is very binding after awhile, you don't want to be playing games that you schedule around. There are ways to play without having to be bound for hours tho. The extent to which it replaces people's reality, is fascinating. Reminds me of Beaudrillard's ectacy of communication. The fact that the digital world is becoming a substitute for real life interaction, the social aspects of WoW are really bizzarre and interesting.

By the time FFXIII is actually released I'm sure you'll be able to get a PS3 for $100, and the price drop won't even hurt Sony because the PS5 will be selling so well. HA!.
