OK, as you can see the story above is not directly from the newspaper but a gossip mag, here's the actual story as it was printed in today's Daily Mirror in the 3am page;

Josh Hartnett told us as the Chateau Marmont Hotel; "I'm looking for a new place to live and want to go to Buenos Aires. I've got friends there and I love it. I can get away from it all." No Josh! We'll miss you.

So, no mention of quitting Hollywood or leaving LA. I think this tells us that gossip mags will fill up a quote with any rubbish to make a headline.
I'm 100% sure the 3am Gossip Girls at the Mirror make stuff up but as they are in LA reporting from the pre-Oscar parties why would they make something like that up? Seems odd, why not lie about his love life instead? Maybe Josh was Joshing with them or... he's Argentina bound.
