This is slightly off topic but how/what is the best way to deal with haters?

My Amanda Bynes blog has only had 2 so far but the latest one is causing a real stir. He or she is pissed because I use Shareapic so he thinks I'm making thousands of dollars off of Amanda. I don't use Google Adsense or Amazon or any other type of revenue program. He or she also registered for the message board just to ruffle the feathers of the other members, making fun of thier posts and trying to tell everyone I get paid for each post. He or she is also making derogatory remarks towards members by calling them things like gay and posers and then finally started on Amanda's acting skills and appearance.

I've pretty much ignored it and banned him from the board and moderated the comments, but how else would you suggest dealing with this situation? I am afraid it will turn people off not only to the site but also Amanda and other fan sites as well.
